Sucks about jay but it's always just a matter of time.

Speaking of shitty BBY experiences, my wife went up there to pick up our GotG steelbook and not only did they not have any, but they also have no record of my pre-order.

Logged in online and the order is still there. The status says "ready for pickup" too, so I don't know what the fuck is going on there. fucking with my steelbook... heads will roll.

Any chance it's at another store?

I hope everything is OK. We'll be thinking about you and your family
Wow that is scary

When my boy was around three months old he couldn't keep anything down and could barely eat anything. Finally took him in and after a long long time they finally did an ultrasound and found he had piloric stenosis (shit spelling). Basically the passageway from your stomach to your intestines closes up, so nothing could leave his stomach. Had to do a quickie easy surgery and he was no worse for wear.

Your plight reminded me of that. Hope every works out for ya.
So Dr. called back, I just need to keep an eye on her, if she turns blue/purple again I need to take her to er, but she says nothing should happen. Luckily my daughter already had a dr. appointment scheduled for next week so I'll make sure they follow up on it then and see if they can recommend any baby cpr classes or something. Thank you all for your concern/well wishes. Baby is playing with Dad right now.

only part of the game I have left til my 100% are those bike routes.
They are really easy but time consuming and not as fun as all the other modes. Should be a good game to have the kids finish do for you :)

I am a bit worried that party mode will be a bit of a drag to play solo too. It would have been nice if you could so those online since the game is so fun to play with other people. Those and a couple of random legendary car trophies are all I have left for the 100% now.

Any of you people try the Blue Estate demo yet? You should. I don't feel like it's an amazing game or anything, I just think it is probably the best value out of this week's sale and is very likely to be overlooked.
Yeah I played a few minutes of it. I don't love the controls but I think I'll be able to get used to them, they're ok. Game is pretty goofy. Pretty sure the splash screen had a spread-legged woman feeding fried chicken to a Jaguar. I'll probably grab it by the end of the week. It has a 49 on Metacritic, but I think a ton of that is influenced by the short playtime and original $20 price tag.

Wrapped up Titan Attacks.  Pretty lame game IMO, did nothing for me.  I can't imagine how they thought that game was worth $13.

Also with my internet out, I was able to see what Gator was talking about, about trophies only being online on PS4.  I couldn't even see which Titan Attacks trophies I had and which ones I needed since my PS4 was offline.  Kinda lame.

Geometry wars talk

I finally unlocked the clone equipment and it's not as good as I thought it would be.

I am starting to go back and three starring levels. So far I have almost have done and am about 112/150 stars. I actually think it is really doable now that I am going back to the levels. There are about 7 levels that you maxed that I haven't yet so that gives me hope.

Now the dev scores are worrying me (besides the obvious co-op three stars), how hard were they for you?

I trusted you on Blood of the Werewolf, but not this time. You're going down a path I cannot follow!

What the hell is with Big Ten basketball? Michigan is losing to everyone. Now Nebraska lost to something called Incarnate Word, which just sounds like the name of a Christian metal band.

Never realized the reviews were that bad. It took awhile for them to start trickling out. I remember reading the IGN one which mostly harped on about mysoginy and whatnot. Its a perfectly competent light fun shooter and thats all I wanted.

Side note: Did you guys who checked out the demo consistently recenter the cursor (I think you have to use L2)? I found myself doing that pretty frequently, which helped to keep the shooting feeling good.

Damn Topside that sucks about your steelbook. Mine came last night in good shape. My BB Did something similar with Thor 2 steelbook....had a preorder and they sold it right out from under me. fuck ing assholes

Mpaulin, I definitely had to keep recentering the cross hairs on Blue Estate.  Every few minutes I felt like I was having to move my arms too far one way so I had to re center it.  Or sometimes the perspective changed so I needed to recenter to make killing the bad guys easier.  It appears the devs knew they needed this function due to this.

I would say that Ass Creed Freedom Cry would still be a better value (speaking of this sale) for $6 than Blue Estate at $4.   I am just basing that on what I know about the Freedom Cry from reviews though.  And the size of those games.

Just in case it wasn't clear, I updated my Rakuten-deal post to show that the 1-year PS+ (already sold out, unfortunately, but it could come back) is for a physical card.

Thanks for answering my question.
Sorry for not answering it sooner.

Im not sure theres anything that feels better when you are having a bad week than getting your haircut and having a hot girl wash your hair after. The scalp massage feels so damn good.

The two dev scores I managed to beat were not too bad. The one I've been getting beat up by is the pacifism classic one 15m or whatever). I just don't have the right rhythm, even though I've seen people do it I don't get it.

Finally beat topaz this morning. That's a tough fight, but there's one wave that's cheap as fuck because of the fov of the level. You'll know it if you've been there - yellow discs. Annoying if only because it's the first time I felt the game was being cheap. I wish I would've worried about getting geoms more so I could've three starred it and been done with it for good.

Also hit 115m on 49. I can't figure out how to survive the tiny orange wave, it feels like it lasts forever and that really seems like the key to three stars.

This is a cool article about how a guy in the video game industry had his kid work through all the past generations of games once he got old enough to play.  I took the link from a slashdot story.

I guess I should thank my wife for buying my kids those plug and play games when they were young.  I never would have bothered with them, but my kids seem to be fine with games they find fun even if the graphics are not up to what they are used to seeing on current gen games.  I am not certain that is due to those like the article claims, but it is a plausible theory.
