I guess I should thank my wife for buying my kids those plug and play games when they were young. I never would have bothered with them, but my kids seem to be fine with games they find fun even if the graphics are not up to what they are used to seeing on current gen games. I am not certain that is due to those like the article claims, but it is a plausible theory.

Bloodborne

So I watched some videos and some IGN nerds talking about it and it seems that there is a stamina bar but it is much longer or takes longer to deplete.  It almost seems like its more of a true action game as opposed to the prior Demons and Dark Souls games.  Much faster gameplay.  Anyone else have different views yet? 

They also havent shown any souls to collect.  I am excited to play it if these things come true.

Gotta be. It seems to be getting worse and worse too. I used to think maybe Therm was a cool guy that just had opinions that differed greatly from mine, but his behavior lately makes me think his sole purpose for being here is just to troll people.

If you watch Podcast beyond, Colin has played it a number of times and said that exact thing. it is a much more accessible and faster version of Demons and dark souls... much more forgiving but still hard.

I think I'll play some offline Burnout Paradise later today. I probably should have gone with the digital sale that came with all the DLC, since having just Big Surf Island and a physical copy will likely prevent me from getting 100% of the trophies.

I'd buy a proper remake or port of final fantasy tactics with trophies and without animation slowdown on vita or ps4 for $30-$40. That's the kind of idiot I am. But I'm not touching ffvii with a ten foot pole at any price. So fucking stupid.

Almost forgot. The power of PSNOT struck again last night. After bitching about this and then playing the Blue Estate demo, I went back and passed this stupid LoS2 stealth section on the first try.

I should have come back on later and complained some more though. I was trying to finish the story last night and couldnt find where the fuck to go to find the final boss. I was too tired to care anymore though and rage quit and went to bed.

Confused by the addition of likely in that sentence. How can you possibly get 100% without all the DLC?

 
BBY wasn't open yet so I took it upon myself to call customer service. Big mistake, especially considering that there wasn't anything they could likely do for me in the first place. Ahh... hindsight.

I get a woman with a heavy middle eastern accent. She tells me her name is "Wendy". Whatever.

I tell her everything I've told you guys.

She asks for the order number. SHE can't understand ME and has to have the number read to her 3 times.

I'm put on hold for 10 minutes because it takes that long to look up my order.

She comes back on the line and says "sir, your order is showing it's ready for pick up".

fuck you Wendy.

The worst part of BB CS is not even the accents.  Its the fact that they like to hang up on people.  I have called twice in the past and both times someone hung up on me after putting me on hold "to check something".  And I think Top and someone else posted the same thing. 

I dont mind having an issue with language as that isnt the reps fault, thats corp and training.  You can clearly find better speakers in India etc.  I have teams in Manila and Mumbai for my Operations and none of them have as heavy an accent as I have heard with BB CS. 

Hanging up on me when your only job is to answer phones is unacceptable and pisses me off so much.

Well we know it wont ever be as cheap as $4.49 for the rest of the DLC you do not have, so we know you won't be buying it even if it went on sale. Maybe they will run another ultimate edition sale like that and you can pick it all up next time. Even though I am sure the disc trades in for next to nothing, I am surprised you didn't decide to do that this time.

Individual DLC is never going to be cheaper than $4.49. Hell, I already owned all the DLC through a gameshare but I still rebought it so i could use it on my 2nd PS3. And with it coming with a digital copy of the game I could potentially play "local" 2 player multiplayer via the internet. I think you are going to regret not picking it up at that price.

Killer is Dead was the LE, huzzah. I don't know why Amazon didn't advertise that fact more in their listing, then they probably would have been able to get rid of all of them before they got to the point of fire selling it for $10.

Any of you guys played Bound by Flame? Wondering if it should go on my buy list or not. Looks like Lords of the Fallen may be a better alternative.

Disc saves are not compatible with digital saves. Probably because of the stupid sponsor code cars that they patched out before the digital version because they were legally not allowed to include them anymore. If you have the disc version you can still get them though. Just delete all the patch data boot it up, go into the cheats menu and enter these if you have at least a class A license.

So I finally decided to start a PSN backlog/library spreadsheet like the rest of you nerds.  Already had forgotten about a ton of games that we got for Plus or that I had bought super mega cheap.  Not sure why I haven't done this sooner, but it's probably because going through the download list is yucky.

I just want someone who's competent and who I can comprehend. If they can't understand me or I can't understand them then what's the fucking point? That should be numero uno in that job.
 
A few sellers are selling Jojo's bizarre adventure all star battle :ps3: for about $30 with free prime shipping. Amazon proper only has 3 copies left and then it's a pure reseller market on this one.

ewww Bound By Flame is trash. Poor mans witcher, skip it. If u like dark souls then Lords is for u.

I got Tower of Guns on steam, its alright. Might as well put every single indie game on ps4 now

Why does that really matter though unless you are 50% through the main game when you want to make the switch? If you have finished the main game, then there is no tie from what you did on that part of the game to the rest of the DLC. You will have all the cars unlocked again with the time savers pack so you can play with any of the cars you want in the DLC anyway. Not to mention you really only need the cars from the DLC for the trophies from the DLC.

I was interested at first, but at least upon release it had some pretty severe balance issues.

Skip to 5m to get to the gameplay. The game is made by Spiders and they have a history of putting out games that look interesting but tend to be mediocre to average at best.
