Final Horizon help for you guys that got 100%. How do you use the stasis rift killstreak? I just started the game but most killstreaks got a tutorial, but not this stasis rift and I can't seem to get 5 kills with it. I just don't even understand how it works. I tried to sell all my turrets and wait til full of bad guys then I call in that stasis rift but most I got was 4 kills. I'm clicking x and im tapping the screen and trying anything but can't seem to get the needed kills... I already checked google and trophy guides but no luck...

it's basically just a slow time thing. you need enemies to be close to your turrets for it to be effective.

 
Hey, have you guys ever heard of movie pass?

I guess it's a monthly movie service that lets you go to theaters once a day and see any movie?  I Guess it was limited to certain movie theaters but AMC is testing out the service here in Denver.  The cost is $35, and considering tickets are $11 for a normal time... If I saw 4 movies a month it would save you money.  Interesting idea.  think it's worth it?

If you were dying, you weren't bothering to pick up hearts. If you were trying to get the time limits before beating the game and getting the invincibility red brick, then you were doing that wrong too.

I am not sure why everyone seems to think a DS port is a bad thing. If you want the full console version, get the game for a home console. I have loved every single Lego Vita game I have played.

I also recall posts about people preferring some hub approach of the 3DS/Vita versions over the open-world approach of the console. Haven't played it myself so don't know the details, but maybe that's something you can comment on.

I've heard of it being tested at different locations. Sounds like a pretty decent deal depending on the time of year.

I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I have a hard enough time seeing more than 2 movies per year at theaters, let alone per month. Matinee tickets are $6.50 in my area, too.

That's true, holidays and summers would be easy to get use out of it... slow periods might be harder

Wonder if you can turn the same card on and off again for certain months, and you can project that would see at least 4 movies?

Yeah, it's basically what Velo said. I did it with someone else playing local co-op (they were player 1, I was player 2). Use the Japanese ROM and grab all of the food to over-heal. Let the other player grab all of the weapons (hammer, slingshot, broom) to make it easier for them.

Also, not sure if you have the "Mr. Sparkle" trophy but that one is easier. Choose easy and use Bart (best character). Just keep grabbing all of the food and weapons, keep jumping/avoiding during the elevator portion until you get to the bottom and you should get it.

I would keep downgraded turrets up, fill the screen with bad guys, then upgrade all my weapons the instant before I activated the stasis. Since it just slows time down, you don't have any control over anything. But dudes hurt before you activate still count in the killstreak. Could also try waiting to activate until a bunch of dudes are about to die.

I was just thinking the same thing. I have a Vita and PSTV and played them both a total of 15 minutes the first day I had them. I have been too busy at work to get out and play and when I get home its late and the kid is going to bed soon so I play with her instead. Then I play PS4 once she is in bed. Maybe this weekend. Also for sure on Xmas while the kids play (and I ignore my in laws) and New Years while watching football.

 
I only played one Lego game on Vita so far (LotR), and I thought it played just fine.  There was still a mini-hub with Lego hub things to do, and controls were just fine.  Granted there was no flying in that game, but I felt it was a competent enough port.

Oh most people dont know yet. I didnt officially serve the wife yet. Waiting for after the holidays. Figured it will be hard enough on my daughter didnt want her to live with that through Xmas. Its probably going to be a sneak attack in January. Shit will hit the fan then.

Done with that talk now. So no one needs to ask more questions. We can keep this discussion to lively debates about running in FPS.

Thankfully I am a pretty good drunk. I never say anything deeply personal when drinking. I just get happier. If I get really bad I just get tired and stop talking completely.

I have only gotten really inebriated one time. In college. I drank an entire bottle of tequila within a few hours at a party one night. I only shared a couple shots with another dude who had a bottle of vodka. Last thing I remember was going to the keg to fill my bottle with some beer. Woke up the next morning at my buddies house immediately shot up and checked to ensure I was clothed as I didnt know where I was right away. As soon as I did that I felt the puke coming on. Ran to his bathroom but didnt quite make it to the toilet. Sucked for him! Turns out later that night I may have pissed on some people below from the 3rd floor balcony. And some other things that shall remain undisclosed.

I usually say anything that's on my mind when I'm really really drunk. Like my senior year in high school, a bunch of us were all partying at this dudes house because our fall play just wrapped up. This chick that I'd been in "love" with from the school I just moved from on the other side of the state came over to watch the play and hang out for the weekend. So at one point I got on the intercom that they had in this dudes basement and professed my love to her and told her how I wanted us to be together and blah blah blah. Turns out the other girl upstairs turned off the intercom or they both left the room or something, so she never heard my speech. Good times.

In general the console versions now have large open worlds. The Vita games generally have a generally smaller hub like world that varies in size from title to title. A couple have even removed it altogether. Personally I prefer that. I would rather have the gameplay be in the game itself and not the never ending fetch quests in an open world or hub.

 
Sweet, just got my monthly $25 perfect attendance Wal Mart card plus an extra $15 "ham" card. Would've been nice to have gotten them yesterday before I bought those LEGO games to flip, though.

That one actually has the largest hub world with the most things to do of any of the more recent Lego Vita games.*

*note: I have not played Lego Batman 3 yet so this opinion could change.

 
Hmmm....sounds like Pharm isn't really intersted in talking about his personal life and divorce.  I guess I probably don't need to mention it any more.

Just got a $20 reward zone cert for bby. It's actually pretty crazy how easy it is to stack the points here now. Had another $20 cert a month ago, and I got over 200 points just for preordering the guardians of the galaxy steelbook for $20. Guess the program works though, because I rarely buy anything electronic anywhere else now. 

 
I'm sure if you told your wife you want a divorce she kept that from no one, certainly not her mother/sister/cousin. Shit sounds suspect.

Speaking of failed marriages, the actor who plays the ambassador's husband on Homeland is so perfect at playing the 'loser spouse'. He's Duck on Mad Men, btw.
