how insulting. Russia is not Third World, comrade
Of course this is a really dated concept (Product of the Cold War), but here it goes:

Russia and all Warsaw pact nations are Second World. Non-aligned nations are Third world. map

Interesting. I put like 10 hours in amular and then found it boring. So there's that. Not sure I will ever go back to it.
You know, I had a similar experience. However, I played all of my time on the Origin copy. Not sure if I can transfer over my save game.

As this is my first holiday steam sale ( long time console guy , recently returned to pc gaming ). I'm kinda enjoying it. Been adding some quality games. Before the boo ' s and tomatoes fly just wanted to say it's been good to me :) and yeah I bit on the games that were under fifty cents too

You should be more than "kinda" enjoying it. My first steam sale after being glued to consoles was pretty awesome. When you don't own anything and have no context of the normalcy of PC prices it's a bit overwhelming. If this was my first Steam sale, I'd have possibly bought like 6 or 7 of the daily/12 hr deals so far today alone. Nobody's gonna get on your case for liking the sale considering it's your first one....heck, I'm a bit disappointed with the sale but have still picked up a good number of things.

It's funny how everyone was all desperate to get Amalur on a sale and now everyone's like eh.
The "quick, get it before they remove it" mentality has passed.

Okay this just happened.

Steam hates me.
Join the club. I received one within 24 hours of idling the cards.

None of the items appear to be region locked, but that's a 2K game so it can't be bought without Hola.
FYI - the Worms stuff can't be added to your cart (NA) either.

At the rate their economy is tanking, it's more like 2.5 World.

It's like Christmas, the earliest ones you can remember are great but it's all downhill from there. You keep doing it again every year anyway in some vain hope that this year will be different because you remember enjoying it at one point way back when but then you just always come to the realization that the thrill is gone.

Are you sure? You could be the Neuro of Nuuvem deals. Think of the opportunities!
You mean continue to post shitty deals that no one wants for some unfathomable reason?

That. Is hilarious.

I didn't even bother with those since the prices suck and the games are lower than bundle fodder.
Yeah, I hear ya. I just happened to need Clan Wars out of the bunch and $3-something sounds a lot better than $6-something.

KOA was interesting, but like Dragon age Inquisition, you can only do so many side quests before out leveling content... I made the mistake with rekining of trying to do it all with one play through. Inq on the other hand as soon as  I started out leveling I knew it was time to advance... A second playthrough should kill the other crap I am just not ready for that yet.

some other good ones include

Star Wars Collection

Tomb Raider Collection

Far Cry Franchise Pack

Saints Row Ultimate Franchise Pack

Awesome more bundle fodder flash deals.

Re: Amalur -- a better deal is when Blizzard sells vanilla WoW (plus a month of sub time) for $5.  Amalur apes WoW at every corner other than the hack-n-slash combat... which gets pretty old fast especially since, even on the hardest difficulty, it isn't even close to being challenging.

Welcome to the fold. We'll get to your blood and urine samples shortly. Once you are a confirmed true believer, you'll be given your robes and codpiece. In the meantime, spend wisely, spend often, and think nothing of your bank account as it now belongs to the undertaking.

Yea, but I don't have to deal with people and lazily forgetting about canceling the account doesn't incur more fees from Amalur. I really enjoyed the demo of FF14, but when I was having the feeling of "I should really maximize my time since I have it for only two weeks..." I realized that MMOs are bad for me unless they're F2P.

pardon my ignorance. i got the gameagent jedi knoght bundle.i got my receipt and order confirmation. when i looked up my order all i got was a pdf saying how to activate codes on steam. where the  fuck are my codes? any help is appreciated.

it will take about 24 hours for code to arrive (via email). Sorry, only 1 guy is working over there and he is new.

My code took 6 hours but it was b/c of constant harassment

Is the Tomb Raider GOYT worth buying instead of just the base game? From what I can tell most of the DLC included is either multi player (which I don't care about), skins, or early unlockables.

No, not if you don't plan on playing multi player, unless you're really into skins. You're better off buying the regular game and buying the single dlc which is campaign oriented, it adds a very small tomb (like five minutes long). It's only 59 cents right now so even though it's minuscule it's not much cash that you have to pony up for it anyway. It's called Tomb of the Lost Adventurer. As I said, it's small...like once you're done with it you won't believe they have the gall to sell it for 3 dollars msrp. But 59 cents isn't too bad to get an extra tomb, which the base game could use more of.

I don't think it's worth it. The tomb of the lost adventurer would be the only thing to possibly get, and even then it's only about 5-10 min worth of playtime and isn't necessary.

Thanks! What about for the early unlockables? I have no idea how easy or hard the game is with or without them or how useful they even are.

Game is mostly a piece of cake, at least at normal difficulty. Never played higher than that. Waste of money to buy the unlockables, imho.

Definitely do not buy the unlockables. As far as I can tell they are only available because they were pre-order bonuses.

I bought the game when it came out so ended up being able to redeem them. They are the first perks you would unlock at the beginning of the game, so only give a trivial advantage. Additionally, the game never accounted for my getting them for free so in the end when I maxed everything out I ended up having leftover points that I couldn't put into anything. No reason to spend money on them unless you like tormenting the OCD side of yourself.

My experience with multiplayer is waiting 30 seconds trying to find a match, getting bored, and deciding it probably wasn't worth playing anyway. Base game all the way. I also agree that the DLC tomb isn't substantive enough to worry about. It was probably a five or ten minute diversion.

I ended up just getting the base game and the 1 extra tomb DLC. Seems like the other stuff is pretty useless.
HAH! Boy did I trick you!!! Now you'll never know the joy of using the skins to perpetually change the appearance of the character! YOU'LL NEVER EVEN GET TO UNLOCK THE UNLOCKABLES!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

What's funny/sad is I spent more time deciding what to buy for that game then I probably ever will actually playing it.

There's a post at Reddit where it shows how to get CS:GO for as low as a dollar. YMMV, take a chance if you want to.

I can't catch a break I missed the glitch on steam and now newegg. Should have picked it up back in the day when it was 3.74 but figured it would be that price on all steam sales so I bought other games instead.

I just played the base game, and I remember being able to max-out my skills with some resources left over. I was quite partial to climbing pick to the head.

I really enjoyed Postal: Grad Student Edition..

Well, I keep it simple... I buy many games but only play one.

Actually, in all honestly I rarely buy anything now days... I'm shocked I've spent 28 dollars on steam this sale. (and another 11-12 dollars on GMG)
