PSNOT, should I rebuy Second Son and TLOU Remastered for PS4 from the BB Sale? And how about Metro Redux? I played Last Light on PS3 (thanks Plus) and didn't love it but maybe I should give it another shot?

For Second Son are you just getting it to finish off the plat? You only have an evil expert run and some cleanup to do from what I see. That sounds more like a Gamefly rental situation to me.

I can't really speak about TLOU or Metro since I havent played them.

It is like Apple Pay or Google Wallet Tap to pay. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile formed their own tap to pay service a couple years ago. It was called ISIS. They changed the name to Softcard. Google is interested in buying it now. It never caught on and if someone doesn't buy it will probably go out of business.

 
I get to go home early because the kids have half a day today and my wife is away this weekend. Bachelor (with kids) weekend. I'm going to take the boys to MAGFEST on Sunday. They want to go that day because there is a talk by "Extra Credits" then. MAGFEST is a pretty damn cool gaming festival. Unlike PAX you won't wait in long lines for hours to play the latest upcoming game for 5 minutes. Instead they've got tons of consoles (old to new), PC games, arcade games, pinball machines and board games to play. Last year they had a modded smash bros tournament. It's pretty awesome.

Well duh, not unless there is some sort of breakthrough in battery tech, of course its going to be on par with other smart watches.

Had a moto 360 since launch and I get about 2 days worth of use, though I charge it almost every night.

They are not for everyone but I find it very useful.

Yeah I don't wear a watch and other then maybe a year or two of my life never did. I was very hard on them (broke the few I did have).

At first I thought the whole smart watch was just lame. I do have to say the Moto 360 seems pretty cool but I doubt I will buy one anytime soon if ever. Maybe if a decent one ever hit $99 or so I could see me getting one to mess around with.

Maybe I will too. Even though there is a ton of good beer in cans I am not sure we have much if any in our stash. We do still have a couple of these in my friends fridge though.

The peach and the lime ones at least. They are actually pretty good but they taste like a soda instead of a beer. The guy that brought them to us from China told us, "You know that is supposed to be for women!" We didn't care. I am just upset he couldn't find the other flavors.

This will be one giant week of disappointment I predict. Grim Fandango won't hold up, Dying Light will not be fun, and Dontnod completely blew their first game after Remember Me with Life is Strange (there's a developer diary for it today on the EU blog if anyone's interested).

Yeah it would just be to finish the plat. But then again with my backlog it's probably best to wait on all 3.

Sorry I missed you in GTA last night, had some stuff on the home front come up that I had to deal with. And when I was playing earlier last night i was trying to knock out a couple more SP trophies and failing miserably, haha. I really hate the flying in this game.

I think Nihilumbra looks cool but it will probably cost a whole lot more than $2.99, which it does on iOS.

Perhaps, but someone has to pay to run the price trackers, I don't begrudge them including referrals in their links in order to provide a free service to those doing the searching. Doesn't CAG do basically the same thing, turn all links into being redirects from CAG?

This is the hardest vote of all for me.  They were all so stupid.  But for me it has to be Halo MCC.  That game was a console seller, and the fact that it's still not working great and they're still giving refunds for it is just hilarious to me.  And this is on a remaster, no less.  Not even a new game or anything.

I voted for buying Minecraft. 2.5B is a ton of money. It was a toss up between that and removing Kinect after saying it wasn't possible. I think it was smart they cut the prices for the Holiday (and have extended it). They need to get consoles out there.

I didn't see your post before voting, but I agreed. The other things were just stupid things they had to do to get the device to sell. Once it sold, you want to keep your consumers happy. That to me was by far the biggest screw up.

It is the same reason that LBP3 net code being so hopelessly broken pisses me off more than a lot of the other Sony screw ups.

The Minecraft thing boggles the mind as well, but when you can wipe your ass with $100 bills if you want to, who cares.

Yea but 2.5 billion for something that was on the downslope in terms of popularity has to be worse right?

Dont think the mcc stuff cost them 2.5 billion.

CAG strips any other referral stuff off and replaces it with the CAG stuff. Including all the extra characters just makes the link huge, it doesn't (as far as I can tell) retain any of the referral info for whoever you're trying to give that credit to.

It was smart to remove kinect as that was a reason a lot of people wouldnt buy one, myself included.

Dont see me ever buying one at this point, but I might in a few years when its a lot cheaper and has some exclusives I want to play.

And they're having a multiplayer beta 3 months after releasing it. You know, what happens if the beta is still shit? It means they have no idea what they're doing and people should be very wary about Halo 5.
