You definitely should. Alpha Protocol is a poorly done game (so many glitches). While Singularity, multiplayer aside, is a great one.
The main difference, though, is that I already beat the PS3 version and got most of the SP trophies years ago (only need the Hard mode trophy and one other that I missed) whereas I've never finished Alpha Protocol.

You guys will think I'm crazy, but the last snowpocalypse a number of years back was great! It probably helps that we are within walking distance of a 7-11. #SetForMunchies

You did a pretty good job on clean-up. It sucks that a few glitched on you. You could have gone the rubber band route and gotten the first person mode one over night. Other than those, you seem to have gotten all you could without spending a lot more time except one: Dialing Digits.
Not to mention, i did no rubber band for the first person one, literally just left it on in single player over night. you don't even have to move.

It pains me, but the evil within bby tiv is slightly over $25 after bonus + gcu this week. I might have to ditch it and hope for a goty/complete edition since it'll be a while before I get back to it.

Where is that retched dlc anyways???

You must have your controller settings different from mine. The controller turned off even though it was plugged into a charging cable to the PS4. I just used a rubber band on the right stick to keep the camera spinning to get it the next night.

For an alternate opinion, I didn't encounter a single glitch in Alpha Protocol. And I played probably around 80 hours of the game, with varying play styles and story branches.

Most underrated game of the last generation.

Going for the plat is a bit of an endeavor, though, so I wouldn't go for it simply to plat it.

Thanks, now my decision will be that much harder to make.
Well it's only three bucks. Just pick up two more games. I know I'm going to be picking up 6. Homefront, Enlsaved, Castlevania, Singularity, Alpha Protocol (for three bucks, I'm going to pick it up again), and Sabetour.

And most underrated game of last generation for me would be Singularity/Binary Domain/Spec Ops

Oh and I wouldn't plat either game in general. Unless you really enjoy the games.

Here's the thing, though: Aside from Homefront and Singularity, I own/finished/platted all of those, and I don't really see anything else I'd want. I guess I could give the spreadsheet another once-over, though, just to be sure.

I've never encountered a mainstream metal channel that hasn't played questionable content.
Once time I was listening to the Heavy Metal channel on Spotify and it played some song by the Ting Tings off of the iCarly soundtrack. I took a screenshot and tweeted it to them as a "What in the actual fuck" message.

Pretty much in the 50s all week here. Mix of rain and fog with maybe one rare sunny day.

Looks like we won't get our "Snowpocalypse: 2-inch close the city down annual snowfall this year.

Alpha Protocol has some neat ideas, but that's about the best I can say for it. I liked it enough to finish it, for what it's worth.

Homefront's campaign was suprisingly good. Definitely worth a play for 3 bucks and change.

I think I asked this before, but who here is getting The Witcher 3 at launch?

I am for sure. Collector's edition too

I do, but not for 300+. Gonna pre-order anyway so they can cancel it, and give me $50.

I'd definitely consider it when it goes below $150/200. It'd be nice to have a little robot buddy to chum around with and solve crimes.

3 games for $10 at gamestop is in store only? Ugh. Not worth it driving to the store in the hopes there might be 3 there I would be interested in.

I strongly prefer digital only lately anyway. The disc noise from Bioshock Infinite is getting annoying.

Candidates after looking at the GS 3-for-$10 spreadsheet again:

Homefront

PoP: The Forgotten Sands (got all of the achievements in the 360 version, not sure if I'd be up to doing it again)

Singularity

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Thoughts aside from Singularity?

Forgotten Sands was definitely an easy quick game. I did not think it was that bad, but there are better PoP games as we discussed recently.

Wanted is probably rather dated now, but I enjoyed it when I played it. The bullet curving thing was at least something different.

Only 5000 made so it will never see that price.

$80 off with GCU coupled with how rare it will be makes for a pretty sweet flipping opportunity.

singularity is a poor man's bioshock

This one is so perfect, it should probably go in the OP.

I loved Forgotten Sands. More of the same of course, but it's a formula that works so well. If you enjoyed the Sands of Time trilogy it's a no-brainer at $3.

Edit: oh, you played it already. Guess it just depends on how much time you want to spend on games you've already played.

Yet to open mine from BF. The case shipped broken. Might just keep the slipcover and preorder DLC and trade it then.

I'd do that, then forget, then get some $350 box of crap shipped to my house that I'll shove in a closet and forget about.
I plan on writing "DON'T FORGET CLAPTRAP PREORDER" in big letters somewhere in my house on the off-chance Best Buy happens to get enough inventory.

Calendar reminder in your e-mail for the Win. Set mine for late feb.

Where is or who posted the gamestop sale spreadsheet?  Sorry, I wasnt going to participate but thought now that I ought to look and stock up if there is anything I like.  Since, you know, I may be out of money for the rest of my life soon.

EDIT: And yeah I went back through about 10 pages into last night and still missed it somewhere even though I know it is there...maybe I can try searching...I have no idea how to search this forum.

don't worry, once, gearbox goes under as a company, that $350 box of crap might be worth something. seeing as borderlands will probably become a cult classic in gaming like duke nukem
