Dead Space is like classic survival horror before thy all turned into high speed shooters. Slow, claustrophobic, slightly clunky, scarce resources, and highly tense. One of my favorites in the genre.

Personally Crysis 1/2 is OK but really nothing to write home about.

ha, I only put 200 hours into BF4 (my main battlefield friend never got an xbox one), but I put 691 hours into BF3

Bulletstorm- absolutely. Lots of fun and replayability. I'm not going to vouch for DA:O because I never finished it and it's been years since I played it. I know many people love it though and I know you'd be getting a lot of game for your money.

As far as straight up, unbridled fun though, bulletstorm all the way.

I'll probably be getting this on X1. I really liked FC3. The deluxe edition come with the sp right? Plus all the pre-order stuff? Any reason why it WOULDN'T be worth it?

Also, Darksiders 2 is completely worth $7.99. I recommend it for sure. My wife and had fun with wheel of fortune but it's harder to recommend. There's nothing inherently bad about it, but I don't want any of you complaining to me after you've landed on bankrupt three times in a row.

Lerm hasn't steered me wrong yet when it comes to recommendations, so I'm sure it's a great game but personally, if I'm gonna drop $40 on a game, it's gonna be far cry 4 on x1. If my wife would let me, I'd get both, but I just don't want to hear "what are you doing?! The kids need to eat!.... Blah blah you know the rest.
 
So far nothing for me in this sale, I like the Red Faction games but not enough to want the dlc. Same for Darksiders 2, the game is OK, just not into it enough to buy the dlc. Not sure about Arcania, have never heard anything about it, good or bad. (Actually, seems I downloaded the trial at some point, must not have liked it).

If all we are getting on sale for X1 is Far Cry 4, Microsoft has met my expectation of a massive letdown following the big EA sale.
 
Deadfall adventure is pretty fun game. I tried out the demo a couple months ago, its a pretty solid game. Not a AAA game title, but a very entertaining game nevertheless. The game reminded me of Mummy movie franchise. 

I'm picking it up when the sale goes live.

Yea it reminds of the Mummy and Indiana Jones with a mix of the old Tomb Raider games. Worth $4 for sure

 
Well I caved in and got Battlefield 4 Premium and Peggle 2 Magical Masters Edition. Hopefully these two will liven up my One's library compared to my PS4

 
Last week Sony had Fallout and Rage DLC on sale, but I have those games on the 360.  Now Microsoft puts Red Faction DLC on sale and I have those games on PS3.  :(

The only Battlefield game I liked was Bad Company 2. But I'm still interested in this beta anyway.

Deadfall Adventure. Tried the demo and liked it.  Bought the game and got frustrated. The controls can be very picky, especially when you try to interact with an object and the prompt appears very quickly. For flashlight gameplay, I'll stick with Alan Wake.

Thoughts on de Blob 2 and JUJU?

Quick Question - How easily do you get "frustrated" on games?

I really wanna buy the game, but i don't want to fork over $3.99 (MS BING), if i'm going to get tired of the game.

Hopefully it works out well but there's reason to worry. Lots of uncertainty about their legacy games though and that it might mean EQ Next isn't living up to expectations.

So I just bought Mirror's Edge and it gave me a "sorry, try again later" type of error.

However, they took the $3.74 out of my Microsoft Account, and it's listed under my transactions on the Xbox website.

The thing is, it's still letting me purchase the game; I don't have the option to download it (just "Purchase" and "Free Demo"). Is this a common/temporary glitch or should I try to contact support? Don't want to risk buying it again.

EDIT: Already tried signing out of my account and back in, no change. Guess I'll try turning my console off and on again.

I actually saw more cons than pros for this game (some even called it a weak Uncharted clone). Demo for Deadfall was fine so I took a gamble when I bought it originally (I think it was $7.49 when I did). No regrets; it just wasn't for me.

Games can have great graphics, but it means nothing to me if the controls are awkward. With Deadfall, they can be sensitive in a "stand in this exact space for an object to work" kind of way. I especially hate in platformers where you push a button and your character jumps high even with the smallest press and landing is even worse. So to ask your question, it just depends on how it's made.
