Thanks, Eld! Added it to my Amazon wishlist and will probably purchase once all my Zelda schemes are done. Is pulling the drive out pretty idiot proof? Wouldnt want to break it and have to lie to Amazon that it came to me that way.

Also, I wonder if the 500gb HD that I end up with is compatible with my Wii U. It would be awesome to knock out 2 birds with one stone like that.

PS TV bundle shipped. :D/

Now I just need to figure out if I can take the one I got from RadioShack back to the store or if I have to ship it back. Hoping for the former.

Any of you with the PS TV already; any functional difference between the DS3 and DS4 with it? I've got an extra DS4 so my first thought is to just sell off the DS3. Not sure if there's any functional or compatibility differences between the two with PS TV.
Remote play you want the ds4, and the ds4 is way better than the ds3 all around.

It's relatively easy if you're careful. I should have taken pictures when I did it.

Basically when you get it you'll need a like a size 0 flat bread or something similar. When you look at the drive from the side you'll see right in the middle where the top meets the middle band there will be a tiny gap about the size of the screw driver head. You stick in there and carefully storage it a bit. Then about half way to the end from either side you should see a similar little opening once it starts to separate.

You don't want to stock it in too far out port to hard at this point. Just work around the enclosure finding these and working the top up slowly. There's the on the long sides and I believe two on the short sides.

Once you've done that you need to get the top off. It's held on with a band of adhesive so you have to put a bit of force into it and you'll hear it separating. I found it better to use my hand at this point and to pull it apart evenly. The top is just a thin piece of aluminum so you can bend it if you do it all from one side or too hard at once. It's just a matter of patience up to this point.

After the to is off carefully work the screwdriver around the bottom edge (the side without the USB connector) to pop it out of the housing and worth it out. If you plan to refuse the housing carefully peel the metallic stuff back and unplug the drive. If you look at it there's usually some spots on each side where it's not flush and the screwdriver can get it started there.

Install that drive in the PS4, plug the old drive into the connector, wrap the silver thing back around it like it was on the other one, insert it USB connector end first back into the bottom of housing. The to had the adhesive and should still be sufficient to hold it on. Line it up, press and hold it on until it adheres again.

Is there anything else you have to do other than just put the new drive in? No formatting or anything?
Depends on what you want to do with it. Wii U and XB1 should reformat it on its own. If you want to use it on the PC or those systems don't recognize it for some reason then you have to use the disk management tool of your PC to reformat it and create a new partition.

Yep, that's what mine is being used for now. You have to get a USB 3.0 y-cable though, it's only like $6 on Amazon, or the drive doesn't get enough power.

Vig, you said Tales of Xillia 2 was worst of the series? Skip it for $16? Iv got xillia 1 and a few others on the ps3 I havnt touched yet...
I've heard it's not great and that price is terrible when Xillia was like $7.50 and Symphonia was $10 on flash sales. I'm going to wait for that sort of price.

Anyone have thoughts on Neptunia ReBirth, Vandal Hearts, or Hard Corps Uprising? Interested in all of them but not sure I want to spend that much on any of them or go to BBY to get credit to pay for them.

That Penguin boss battle in Batman Blackgate is a PITA. Even after upgrading my armor and getting the sonic batarang, it's still giving me trouble.

Best Buy where is my 3DS? plz ship
My LE game from them still hasnt shipped so I called in today, guy was really nice and tried to upgrade it to overnight shipping but system wouldnt let him. He did issue $10 worth of points to my account though.

I contacted Amazon as well since my order through them hasnt shipped and the chat guy tried to tell me that the delivery van bringing everything to the warehouse got a flat lol.

I meant when putting the 2TB into the PS4, I'll just be using the 500 for my WiiU as you and Paulin have already covered. Was just wondering if I had to do anything for the 2TB before popping it in the PS4.

Definitely hopping on mpaulins MM LE harddrive upgrade train.

Oh yeah. The system will format it and then you'll have to install the OS from a flash drive. I'm about to leave to go to Big Boy with my kid but when I get back I'll see if find the proper instructions and current OS because the one linked most places (including through Sony) are outdated and don't work properly.

Yeah, I did. Xillia 1 is very, very, very slightly better if only because the plot has fewer holes. The only aspect of Xillia 2 I liked was the new characters, but everything else was handled far too poorly for me to recommend playing it. It would take too long for me to justify or explain it, but I can say with confidence that Milla Maxwell is easily the worst Tales character I've ever seen.

Tales of Hearts R, on the other hand, feels at least 100 times better. I love all of the characters so far and the battle system is very easy to grasp but hard to master.

Question about the Vita TV.  If I get LEGO Batman 3 for PS4 and use it to remote play on the Vita TV am I able to use two controllers on that for couch co-op?

Are you talking about Bobs Big Boy?

Culvers is apparently good
good. They just came to TAmpa and the wife took our daughter. Apparently it's from wisconsin.

The culvers must know all about bubblers.

I played some of that this morning. Maybe 1/3 through the main story. Not a speed run though as I have gone for some of the upgrades. Lots of fun hope to get another couple hours in later.

Which aquarium?
The KC sea life aquarium (only one here). It's pretty lackluster compared to anything you'll find on either coast, but any port in a storm when you're in the midwest.

It's insane how overpriced shit like this has gotten. Normal prices are something like $19 per person over 13 and $11 3-12. Same with a teeny museum that just opened - they have a 30 minute exhibit about dragons or some such thing and it's like $10 per person. What happened? Has stuff like this always been so pricey?

I won a pair of Geoteck HC-4 Mics for PS4 off twitter today for donating to wounded warrior project through my CoD clan. It is wired so I can't use it too often just in case kids running around trip on cord and pull PS4 out of the wall, but still ill try to use more often when kids are asleep. Woot for winning things.

Finally got around to snagging my 100th plat.  It's no The Last of Us, or Vanquish, or even a Dark Souls, but as a thoroughbred Sony Pony for the last 19 years it feels kinda appropriate.  Maybe someday Sony will understand that it wasn't the concept of PSASBR that was flawed, just the execution was a little derpy.

Whoa, 19 years?  Happy VDay Playstation; you're my best and longest-lasting relationship!

I did dinner out with my girl Thursday night and day out together yesterday, so today is a fantastic day of sitting in and doing nothing while avoiding all the crazies.

Butter burgers! I think the owner of that place is the owner of my gfs restaurant. He went down to Florida to open a Culver's at some point.

Since the only store is Walmart in this hillbilly town I'm in, I went there and bought a shit ton of the most cheesiest valentine's stuff they had for her. It was a priceless moment.

I've only needed 1 trophy in that for awhile now. I was never able to play a match without dieing.

The matchmaking servers for that game are probably the worst I've ever seen but If you'd like to try boosting it just let me know: We've got 2 PS3's in the house so if you could find one other person we could try a 2vs2 match, which has usually been less crowded.

Sorry, cainiac gets firsties. PM me your info and I'll send it off next time I'm shipping.

I also have a re:eek:rc steelbook and the tekken tag 2 steelbook (both complete) from the UK but I'm trying to actually sell those. I'm almost down to zero physical ps3 games.

When I'm home I could probably do it on the vita and the ps3 to make 4

I'm sure a few people have this, but I'll help too at least to be a warm unmoving body (or two, I've also got two pee ess threes).
