Yeah I think I got it from some Humble Bundle. Cool story of original founders of 'Murca, but with spaceships and aliens and steampunk shit. But in all honesty it had me at pixel-art. And it's good pixel-art too. Really fun explosions and enemies and ship variety and damn i wanna play ima go turn tricks for a ps4.

I don't think their outlanes are unrealistic. The games are easier than the real world versions. Bang backs are illegal in real-world competitive play and can't be done on games after… I'm forgetting which one - they changed the design of the machines to make them (nearly, at least) impossible. That is if you are talking about actual bang backs, which is a method of getting the ball back into play after it drains down an outlane, by hitting the machine when the ball gets to the outhole and knocking it back up between the flippers.

They do have some annoying bugs and what you ran into sucks for sure. I don't know that I have ever run into that problem. Note that if you aren't online it won't record your score online. It's obnoxious that they've never made it upload once you get online. Still, Farsight has a better physics simulation and real machines. I don't like Zen's tables much at all - they are all awful designs.

I have to wonder if that is Nintendo's game. Start off the first few shipments in short supply so that everyone runs out and buys them all in a frenzy (for themselves and to resell) and then they'll steadily increase the shipment amounts so that the instinct to rush out and buy them early is still there even if it isn't needed because they won't sell out. I mean, if all of the amiibo's were produced in quantities sufficient that everyone that wanted one could get one, how many of you wouldn't have bothered purchasing them not just to resell but for yourself?

Yeah, I have never once thought that pinball arcade's recreation of these tables was any more or less fair than the real world counterparts I've played. Pinball in real life is often a hot bitch that feeds off your tears and quarters.

A) All stores would have it listed as $40 as the new MSRP.  Amazon and BB still clearly have it as $60

B) Microsoft would have trumpeted it to the high heavens.  No way they're just going to slyly cut the price by 33% without formally announcing it.

So do the people who bash the DS3 compared to the DS4 ever buy newer controllers or did you stick with the DS3's that came within a few years of purchasing your PS3? I've never held a DS4 in my hands, but I have purchased several DS3's over the years and I can definitely feel the small refinements they've made to the shape of the controller. I pretty much only use my urban camo DS3 now not just because of the matte, rougher finish, but because its handles are more comfortable to hold than the earlier controllers (one which came with my system and one I purchased a year or so after that) due to the slightly different angle and shape of the handles.

I hope Farsight gets the rights to some more recent games like Stern's AC/DC. That is a really, really fantastic game. But maybe having to license all that music would be a non-starter. I don't know. Fortunately I have the real thing to play in league. :)

Edit - oh yeah, I picked up Jamestown from a humble bundle or something once. No idea it was 4p coop, that's pretty neat.

I have an urban camo DS3. The DS4 is a better controller (IF yours doesn't have sticky bumpers - newer DS4s don't seem to have that issue). Part of this, though, is that I have larger hands and the DS3 feels too small. So, YMMV.

I have a brand new DS3 that came in the PS TV bundle. While it is better than the 2 older ones I have, it still is not anywhere near as nice as a DS4. The only bad thing I can say about those is the rubber they use on the sticks not being very robust. Damn you GTA 5 arm wrestling matches!!!

Shame that gta sale isn't sooner. I'd love to trade in my disc copy to switch to digital. Other than that, not much I'm really excited about. Which is fine, cause I already have plenty to play, and a few new things coming up. Need to mop up all that mess before the witcher and batman get here.

I was thinking the same thing. There's a Metallica table I want to check out, too. With arcades being pretty much dead I don't know where you would even be able to play the newer tables that they are pumping out.

 
I had some guy just give me his number and told me when the Saints are in town to call him for free tickets. I would like to believe him, but I'm really skeptical

Browsing that Amiibo thread, looks like I just missed out on some regular price Mega Man ones on Amazon.  For whatever reason, that Mega Man one looks awesome to me and it's the one I want for my collection.  But not paying $30 or whatever it's going for now.

I quit when my girl was due to have our baby and they wouldn't give me the weekend off. also the doors weren't locking and they were using police ribbon to tie it shut. and we were hosting a black biker meetup and they threatened to kill me when I got off work because we were sold out of rooms and I couldn't move them. I was like, what the fuck am I doing in a crappy motel with hookers and meth and biker threatening me when I could probly make more getting bjs from my girl and her friends at my own home. so yup. also got a new girl gonna try to start doing weekly shows with her. we will see. peace all and hope everyone is great

Bars. And peoples homes. Tournaments. League locations. The Pinball Hall of Fame. Etc. Metallica is good too, incidentally. This site doesn't have all cities/states, but if you are in a covered area it can help you find pinball machines to play: http://pinballmap.com They have an iOS/Android app too.

On a related note, PAPA 18 is coming soon and you can go there and play an insane number of pinball machines for just coin (well, token) drop. You don't have to play in the tournament and admission is free: http://papa.org/papa-tournaments/papa-world-championships/papa-18-world-championships/

PAPA headquarters is only open to the public during events like this. Alas, I can't make it to this one.

You do know there really isn't a way to boost the online MP right? It is simply you have to get through 12 weeks, or 84 MP sessions while collecting supplies and doing challenges.

The challenges are easy if you know what to do. Don't worry too much about the challenges unless it says the challenge is for 100%. then when it is a 100% challenge, choose the healing challenge. Then use a support character and focus on healing and reviving your teammates. I can get 30-40 heals per session, and the most you will ever need is around 20. it will make sense once you start it.

I don't think it's going to be OlliOlli 2. They announced the price on twitter as £9.99 and didn't mention PS+. Not sure if that means $9.99 or something higher in the US.
