I'm trying so hard to not buy revelations 2, but I really want it.
Dont buy it. Wait for it to go on sale. It doesnt look groundbreaking so waiting to play it since you have, oh I dont know, a hundred other games makes sense.

Besides, we may need you to do 4 player co op in Zombie Army Trilogy when we get it free today!

After much consideration, I've decided that I'm going to put not one, not two but THREE tekken games on my March list to finish. How does that sit with you, pharm?
I am almost to the end of Tekken 6 but got stuck and traded it. I should pick it up for cheap and try to finish it.

I'm with you. This is an example of capcom doing everything right.

- decent game, well reviewed
- fun extra mode improved from the first game (raid)
- really, really smart pricing
- dlc is just extra frills for raid mode so far, nothing important
- it was cool that the preorder bonus was crossbuy between ps3/ps4 and that they have separate lists
- they're releasing a vita version too (hopefully cross save?). Their vita ports are always excellent.

People love to rag on capcom's often terrible choices, but this time out they seem to have mailed it and I hope it pays off for them.

I do but haven't started it. Can I help or do I have to unlock the online stuff first or level up to a certain point?
You have to play for several hours before online is available. No rush though, I think I'll have it for a while. I'll see what it's like playing with randoms if no one else has online unlocked yet.

I haven't started FW yet, either. This is one instance where my play-only-one-lengthy-Vita-game-at-a-time approach works against me. :headache:

Can anyone tell me why Stotch is already posting on here this morning, but he hasn't gotten on Destiny yet?  Other than just because he's a jerk?

Even as the biggest FFX fanboy here, I can't justify getting it again. I got Vita/PS3 on the assumption they'd have separate trophies and they didn't. I don't want to get burned by PS4, so I'll wait until I know more on that front.

And then it'll be $20 everywhere during the holidays, so I'll just get it then.
I bet you're right. Cross save probably means shared trophy list. I'll still probably pick it up somewhere eventually, but not at launch for just a calendar.

I am going to be completely un-CAGlike and buy FF7 day one, even at the ridiculous $16. I don't care, I want. And that should be the race to the plat contest for the month it comes out.

This might help:

They seem to have an upgrade I don't have, turning enemies into allies. I'm not even sure at this point how to get enough upgrade points to upgrade anything else because I finished off free roam stuff. In any case, it still looks hard. They manage to keep their multiplier going up. I guess I just have to keep trying.

Jesus.

These challenges in First Light are going to do me in. How the hell are you guys getting a 1,000,000+ (or just 500k) on Alpha Rescue? I topped out at 115,000. I have missiles maxed out, but still its super hard.
Get the multipliers and other bonuses from shooting down the drones. I was having a hard time until I did that. Also remember where all neon is so you can recharge rockets. Even then the Beta Rescue was hard as I died right when I got to 500K.

Alpha Rescue doesn't have drones. I tried Alpha Survival too, though, and that had them. Wasn't aware they gave "bonuses". Like what?

Red/pink = invincibility

Green = unlimited melee finishers

Blue = super bolts (1-hit kills on normal enemies)

Yellow = doubles your current multiplier

All of them only last temporarily, even the yellow one.

Alpha shouldnt be that hard really. Beta is much harder. The one you want is the multiplier. I forget the color. There are blue, yellow and pink ones.

I think OlliOlli (1) is one of the PS+ games. At least it is in Japan and Roll7 announced it as a plus game:

Do they really get that many games each month? Maybe this list isn't really the plus list there.

Not to say that Alpha Rescue was easy, but in Beta the only easily accessable neon seems to be right in the middle where a thousand bad guys are waiting.
But what about the multiple neons around the room on the platforms near the ceiling?

I hope this isn't the Plus list. There isn't anything on there that would explain the delay, plus (ha) it looks really boring aside from maybe New 'N' Tasty.

The best approach for me for Beta Rescue was just to stay in the center at the bottom or 1 level up. Since there's neon all around that, it allowed me to just run around collecting neon while waiting for hostages to spawn. That also kept the multiplier up since the bad guys were all within a decent distance. Plus being in the middle helped put me closer to the hostages; when I was up on the platforms on the wall I would find myself on the wrong side of the arena and wouldn't get to hostages in time.

I'm ready to rock online in freedom wars, I'm pretty sure. Last thing I remember doing is beating the first major boss. If we're gonna start playing that, I'll wait to start tales.
