I cannot figure out why I can't join other friends games in helldivers from the vita. Playing with randoms is a pain. I'll have to jump on the party if you guys are playing tomorrow and use the ol pee ess four.

I did finally get a mech suit though. Things could be worse.

How I envisioned it when I suggested it is to finish up things you meant to, but got sidetracked for whatever reason. Games you started the campaign and then you didn't finish not because you didn't like it, but just got hooked on something else. Or games you beat and meant to 100% but never got around to it, but you can do whatever you want.

I meant "sure" as in "you're welcome". I don't know why you're getting so defensive.
i couldn't tell it was a guy

a lot of Asian men can pass as women though
I remember this girl in my Japanese class in high school had a magazine that was nothing but Japanese guys dressed as women. Apparently it was some fad over there (2005 ish)

If I did Sly 3 to play that might never happen

Some challenges I cannot see me being able to complete.

Also random anecdote, when I was a kid and saw the VHS cover of Watership Down in a rental store and didn't know what the movie was about, I thought this:

Was a giant freighter ship, shrouded in the black of night, with one glowing window at the head of the ship, coming close to wrecking on the shore.

helldivers also has a weird ass trophy list. Those no alarm/no damage/no death trophies seem like a hot bitch.

Seems the crossplay friends thing is a known problem though. It works if you can find the game on the public list, but you can't join a friend's game if they're on a different console.

Just finished up chapter 1 of The Wolf Among Us. Really liking it. Wasn't really sure what to expect but looking forward to chapter 2 hopefully tomorrow. Horrible load times on PS3. But I can over look that.

It's ok to admit that you posted a gif of what you thought was a hot chick who actually ended up being a dude.

Tyler predicted this exact thing months ago with his "You're telling me if someone looked like she did, but had a dick, you wouldn't fool around with her" comments.

We all knew what Tyler meant, but apparently Fatty really knew what he meant.

lol

Whether you all knew she was a dude because you've seen it before, don't pretend like you can tell it's a guy just by looking at "her".  You can argue that he's not that hot, but he at least looks feminine enough.

Personally, I knew it was a dude because that's not [customspoiler='how asian women eat ice-cream']

Any music fans hear like Gomez or Wilco?
I dig both bands, though I'm not as familiar with all their stuff as I should be. Old alt station around here used to play Gomez a lot and a friend hooked me up with a bunch of those albums. And I watched Wilco play a killer set in Austin City Limits once. Got a bunch of their albums from the same friend.

I like both bands a lot and saw Gomez the first time at Austin City Limits Festival in 2006. That festival was amazing with 3 days of music for $100.

YOU SAW SELENA GOMEZ? OMG, SO JELLY.

I'm too tired to look into the specifics, but apparently Tim Schafer made an offensive joke and it looks like the Twitterverse is outraged.
After meeting him on the street back in January, he can do no wrong in my eyes! But I'd still like to hear about that.

Alright Helldivers, we on for tonight? I already saw that Chewy and Mild are down. I haven't leveled up much since playing on Tuesday. Hopefully I'm still able to hold my own if you guys are a much higher level than me.

I couldn't follow WTF this was about. I guess I don't speak twitter and don't really give a crap about the back and for nonsense. I guess GamerGators are minority gamers? He certainly seems like he is douche though. On stage with a sock puppet?

I will be playing again for sure. Last night it was me, Pancakes, Derek and Velo after the friends matchmaking started working again. Last night the friends list wouldnt let any of us connect and as such we had to munky around a bit until it started magically working. Jeff/Pete/Mild didnt join our party chat so we couldnt talk to him. Asshole. So Velo took his spot.

You wont be too far behind as levels only give you perks and such. You can still easily die at any level. We would just have to do a lot more of the strategems than you. Which is actually really fun so it isnt burdensome.

Not sure if Chewy ever got around to logging in or not. But if all 6 or 7 of us are playing tonight or any other night it would be good to split up. Maybe 1 or 2 others will start playing so we can have two 4 player parties going out there.

This was posted on the Ps3T forum regarding the matchmaking issues in Helldivers.  What does that mean?

"turns out he has NAT 3 (had DMZ on IP on the first router, still dont know why he added second one) and I have NAT 1. Mystery solved."

Woo!

“How about all those Rock Band DLC songs I bought on my PlayStation 3?”

That’s a fair question! We’ve always been committed to the idea that Rock Band is a platform, and as such Rock Band 4 will support all your previous DLC purchases at no additional cost! (Be sure to thank our friends at PlayStation, because we couldn’t pull this off without significant work from them!)

Seeming unlikely that all the old instruments will work with it. I could use some new ones anyway. With me probably being able to save 20% off of the full band bundle because of GCU, this is almost a definite day 1 purchase.

I could see picking this up. We have RB3 and Beatles Rock band for PS3. We haven't played in a long time but sooner or later all the gaming gear will be setup in the basement so it should be much easier to just to play whenever vs digging the crap out of a closet and setting it up.

NAT 3 is strict and has problems connecting to others online. You typically want a NAT type 1 or 2.

If you play online and didn't have an open NAT you'd know it by now, but if you're having trouble connecting to someone then it's possible that this is your (or their) problem.

You're probably the right guy to ask - some of the rock band games came with import codes so you could play songs from the previous iteration on the new version, right? I thought those import codes (once redeemed) acted like a dlc bundle for the game but I can't remember.

Long story short, if I can find codes from rb2/rb3/beatles (?) I'm hoping to have a nice pile of extra songs to putz with when I get around to playing this. I'll do my homework, but any insight appreciated.

I liked Guitar Hero quite a bit, but never played Rockband. Guitar is the only instrument I have any interest in so I'm not sure if RB is even worth it for that. How do they compare on that level?
