I won't argue the asshole thing. Most of the time I'm just playing the vita on the sofa hanging out with my wife which is why I never join in parties. Tonight however I'm going to hunker down in the cold basement for some hot Helldiver on Helldiver action. How did you blow up a nest without the bomb?

Fun fact: got knocked out of the regional spelling bee on the word 'hunker' when I was in grade school

What an asshole.

I ended up using an anti-tank air strike to blow up the nest. Seems like it is per person as I got it but not everyone else. It think Parm would have gotten it if he didn't kill everyone else along with it lol.

EDIT: Oh wait he did get it.

Long story short, if I can find codes from rb2/rb3/beatles (?) I'm hoping to have a nice pile of extra songs to putz with when I get around to playing this. I'll do my homework, but any insight appreciated.

Based on the IGN article I just read, I don't think any of the on-disc Rock Band 3 tracks are going to transfer. RB1 and 2 both had codes on the back of their booklet that could be used to transfer just about all of the on disc songs to the next game in the series (in the form of a download). Pretty sure you have to pay a $10 transfer fee, though. RB Beatles never allowed that for licensing issues, but RB AC/DC and Green day did.

So in theory you should be able to putz around with the RB1 and 2 tracks if you are able to track down codes (and pay $10 each).

That's a killer line-up, but then the ACL festival usually does have a killer line-up. I'd love to make it down for one.

 
UPS rant incoming:

Tuesday night they tried to deliver my Diablo 3 order from Best Buy, but we had a late meeting with one of the wedding vendors. So I came home to the "we attempted delivery" slip. Yesterday morning before I left for work I signed the back of it authorizing them to leave it at my apt building (they come at random times during the day so usually just have them leave it in the lobby) which I've done several times before with no issue. We went out to dinner last night for an anniversary and what do I find when we get home? Another damn slip, placed right on top of the first one! God damn idiot drivers.

I decided to try for a couple misc trophies real quick before bed. The air stirke took no time at all and thats when I got it. I then went and did the "finish a mission using nothing but strategems" and got that in 5 minutes too on the first really easy mission. I stupidly tried going for the shoot 300 times with 80% accuracy as well once or twice and came no where near.

I managed to hit 350 shots with around 70% accuracy just by pure luck. That'll probably never happen again.

Yeah, the reason I tried for it last night was because I had about those same numbers on a random mission while we played. There is probably a trick to it that some one will figure out for us.

Maybe playing the easiest mission and just using friendly fire to pad your shot totals?

I'd like to see the resupply land on a tank.

It's actually really easy. Just play with another player (or 3) aim your shots carefully then, then once you're sure you're over 300 shots, just stop shooting the rest of the game. Maybe play the healer role the rest of the game. We can try it tonight one or two at a time on easy to mop it up.

I tried doing the level 4 mission in under 5 minutes right now and it will definitely take more than one player to do it. Keep hitting close to 6 minutes. Doesn't help that all that spawns are the dumb briefcase objectives.

I have no idea what the words to the song are so I am really just referring to the music itself and not the shitty (I hope thats you ha) vocals.

First we were 23ish when we recorded it, the high school was just the only place we could record for free because our old choir teacher had a 4-track recording machine.

B, that's not me on any vocals because they wouldn't let me sing. My only representation on the record is my bass stylings. And maybe a yell during the hidden track.

And 4, I'm surprised no one picked up on the "hung like a field mouse" lyric in Loser.

I'm all for this. I just hope they sell a cheaper bundle with just a guitar and game since I don't want the drums or mic nor care about that and only want the guitar. Hopefully they'll finally also not be complete crap that breaks the third time you use it.
