I should have bought that Sega Humble Weekly with Typing of the Dead a year ago (or whenever). Would kill for a decent indie bundle or Steam sale. I'm reduced to buying full price early access games.
To be fair, that Humble Bundle copy didn't come with one of the free DLCs that come with copies/keys directly tied to Steam. Rather frustrating as you can't buy it separately. :wall:

I'm going to start shipping out my game keys, and for $50 I'll give you a full year of spoderman prime which gives you free shipping and a subscription to the spoderman newsletter that'll keep you updated with all the hottest key drops.

I canceled that and filed a dispute with VISA because, every key I received redeemed as:

Anyone buying AC Rogue? Anyone think it won't run like absolute shit?
About buying AC: Rogue PC - Not until it's way cheaper. Gotta go the #CAGWay with that series, especially since they bank at least 1 AC title out every year or so.

About how it'll run - well, it's UbiSoft w/ a PC version. So, who the hell knows. {shrug}

Their PC versions often seem hit or miss upon release from game-to-game and studio-to-studio, performance-wise.

AC:Rogue could possibly run decent like AC4 did on my PC - but it also depends on if they kept it on that engine - if they tweaked the engine, what features they added to the game, or whatever. Unless they moved it to the AC:U engine - if they did that, then God knows...

Regarding nuuvem and GTAV and other games HOLAing, I have read this from a spanish guy who got in contact with nuuvem.

Hi XXX
There's a regional restriction applied to the pre purchase of GTA V available on Nuuvem due to a recent Rockstar's request.

Even if it should not affect the product key at the moment of the activation, you'll not be able to complete the payment of this game if you don't live in South America.

I also don't recommend that you purchase this game on Nuuvem by using Proxy, VPN or any other ways in order to avoid the GeoIP restriction, because if you do that and experience any issues with region locked, we'll not be able to help you.

----------

If this is true, this will be the first step to avoid foreing people buying there.

That version of the game is missing the Football Manager dictionary DLC. People have requested that be fixed and Sega keeps ignoring them, so...

I guess Nuuvem finally wised up. They won't stop people from buying games but if they break the TOS in a really blatant way... they'll get no help.

I don't think they wised up, I think Rockstar complained and other publishers too. I know Deep Silver has. Most likely it will probably still work with other publishers. For now. They know what the deal is and they are happy to have the sales even though they aren't supposed to be doing it. That being said, people REALLY should stop blatantly announcing they are doing that when buying from them because the publishers catch on and complain and then shut it down.

Anyway no big loss on GTA V. It's not the Steam version and who knows what the hell is going on with Rockstar's Social Club. Not worth it anyway to save a little bit right now. Either just go full out Fakeybro on Steam or else just wait for a sale. It's not like Rockstar never has sales.

*Edit: Oh and Missed the Lara Croft 'sale'. Darn. I have Prime already so shipping wouldn't be a factor. I would get charged tax which I couldn't McDonalds in Oregon out because physical, but still at that price I would have went for it. Shame. Oh well.

Man that damned game was like the first Steam game I ever bought in 2011. I think I got it on sale for $5 and It hadn't even been out that long so I thought that was a great deal. I was such a noob.

Amazon has some Logitech stuff for 50% off as the Gold Box deal today.

Mildly related, has the g500/g500s line been discontinued?  Cheapest Amazon listing is $110 and it's not carried at Best Buy anymore, meaning i'll have to use my replacement planbux on something else.

I got in on that Temple of Osiris deal (at the glitch price) just so I could send a photo of it with my Amazon receipt to AshotP.

YOU COULD HAVE HAD MY TEN DOLLARS ASHOTP AND NOW YOU GET NOTHING

Yea, the G500/G500s line was replaced by the G502 about a year ago, and the laser sensor was replaced with a newer optical one. Despite the radical design, the ergonomics are surprisingly similar to the G500/500s. As a long time G500 user, I can understand the hesitation, but overall reviews of the G502 are quite positive, so it might be worth considering.

Funk ya'll; FFX was my first FF game... Hell, it was my first JRPG, and I loved it. XIII can suck a big, floppy donkey dong, and lord knows if the latest will actually be any good. I'm cautiously optimistic.

FF13's story was actually quite original and interesting once you decipher all the terminology associated with the game; L'Cie, Fal' Cie etc. As a game it's kinda bad though. FF1 was my first FF so my childhood dreams were pretty much all shattered long ago.

Since I actually own the entire trilogy, I will, one day, make it past the first 10 or so hours of XIII and complete its sequels, just to say that I did it. I'll probably go insane. Maybe I'll even create my own imaginary friend to cheer me on through the slog.

I enjoyed the 20 minutes I played of Lighting Returns, but hated the 20 minutes I played of 13.

Hey, it could have been Kingdom Hearts :D/
I'm actually not sure which of those is worse. I'm tempted to say Kingdom Hearts, but that's mostly because I liked FFX-2. Not for the story or characters or writing or anything, good God, no; but it has one of the best turn-based battle systems ever made, and I generally approve of the gameplay, minus the barbie dress up part (though I like the job system) and the horrible, awful, unbearable minigames.

Hey, it doesn't mean Sphere Break is a bad game just because you suck at math. Although they completely destroyed Blitzball...

I think this is old news, but I haven't seen this posted anywhere.

The Into the Gloom dev is holding back giving bundle buyers keys until the game is out of Early Access (Very similar to what the Kel Reaper of Entropy dev did).

http://steamcommunity.com/app/342350/discussions/0/606068060816797763/

It was in Indie Gala Greenlight 4, Flying Winter Bundle, and IGS.
Well damn, and I really wanted to play it, too. I guess I'll just have to buy in to early access

Fffft, I'm awesome at math, Sphere Break was just boring. And that weather mini game for one of the side quests actually made me miss the CPR minigame from FF7.
