Actually, I have only played 9 and 10. I made the now obviously incorrect assumption that the past games were similarly tough.

 
It is also a hundred fuck ing degrees in the office again.  Its like they turn off the air overnight.  It is so goddamn muggy outside its even worse inside.  fuck you budget crunchers!

Played a level 10 with some scrappy randoms today who just wouldn't give up no matter how beat up we got. We hovered on the verge of full team wipe for like 6 straight minutes. somehow we made an epic comeback and got to extraction with no strategems left and one guy in a mostly sunk walker. I don't understand how, but we survived three tanks on us with no anti tank weapons and a boatload of other robots chasing us around, the extraction jet lands on two of the tanks and half the rabble, and we survive.

Truly an excellent game.

Yeah, that sounds awesome. I definitely plan on playing some more tonight. I caved and bought the headset chewy linked yesterday, but I won't have it today.

fuck you for needing air conditioning! Although it's finally getting nice in my area so I can't really complain. I'll be in Orlando for a week starting Saturday. So maybe I will complain about it being hot out too.

Do you have the PS3 version? Just asking since if you are just now going to play SR4 and you have Gat out of Hell I wondered if it was the completed edition on PS4 you have.

Definitely would like to play it with you, but even if you started playing and focusing on SR4 now, that is going to be a while before you get the plat. It isn't hard, but there is a lot of stuff to do. Since this is a rental, I am going to likely want to get it turned around faster than when you would be ready to play.

Its going to "cool down" over the weekend. Should be upper 70s here in Tampa, maybe lower 80s in Orlando. Mid 80s today!

EDIT: Forget that I see now its still mid 80s through the weekend. Jesus.

I literally saw you on ps4 playing it, was like huh bet he is streaming. looked up your normal user id on twitch and you werent streaming on it.

Yes, I have the standalone PS3 version. I started SR4 on PS3, so I'd rather finish it there. I know it's a time-consuming plat, but I wouldn't feel comfortable starting Gat Out of Hell without finishing SR4 first unless we just stood around or otherwise did nothing for 3 hours to get the co-op trophy. Sorry about that.

I couldnt even get his stream to load for me on the twitch app. I got to his page and it said he wasnt streaming. I would log out and just look him up manually and there it was. Then login and lose it again. Stupid Twitch app sucks.

Yeah I think they felt the MM games (or just games in general) were getting too easy so they over-corrected and beefed up the difficulty past what it was when they made 9 & 10. I made it to Dr. Wiley's castle in 9 and 10 on regular, but couldn't beat them. Swallowed my pride and switched to easy mode to beat 10.

I played through all the NES games on the Mega Man Collection that came out on PS2 (after playing up through 5 on the actual NES), so I know my skills should be there for the games. I also now want to bust out the identical GameCube collection on the dusty ol' Wii.

 
I conked out last night, but I should be online for Helldivers tonight. I need a lot of the stuff you guys already have like recoilless rifle (is that a stratagem or a regular weapon?), healing gun, a vehicle, etc.

No worries, I wouldn't want to start it without finishing SR4 first too. That is why I have not started Arkham Origins except for MP and I have finished NG+ even on City. Those do not even tie together as much as those 2 do. I get it.

 
yeah I took some theraflu last night and that shit knocks me the fuck out. I was trying to stay up but I only could get through 2-3 rounds with you guys til you all got the tank. Wren you should have stayed one more game. but yeah I was passing out too so that was no good. fell asleep watching archer vice :)  also great temperatures here. also I got a new giotech ps4 headset yesterday so hopefully less ambient children screaming noises. peace all

Nice. My wife has been checking the forecast constantly and at one point it said it was going to rain every day. But looks to be good now. Doing 5 days of Disney (the most un-cheapass place on earth!) for her and the kid.

There is a chance of rain every day at any time during the spring and summer. You will normally see at least 20% chance every day which means it could rain on you for 5 minutes or all day. You never know, so dont worry about it much.

There is a saying in Florida. If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change. Rarely does it ever rain for extended periods of time unless there is a tropical storm or hurricane. I assume the rain was scattered thunderstorms?

Seeing those Battlefiled Hardline trophies makes me think I may just preorder it since it is apart of the $10 preorder promotion and I have $50 in Gift cards.

Anyone else thinking about?  Wonder how easy those 3 MP trophies might be to boost, would make them go by even quicker, otherwise it doesn't seem like it will take that much time.  Plat sounds obtainable.

Battlefield MP is great fun and those multiplayer trophies sound easy peasy. Why boost?

Actually there is a grin with one trophy. The 25 kills on the two weapons. I guess you have to get pretty far in online to unlock those weapons... so having boosters or people you know could speed that up

Funny how many people are clamoring to be able to delete 1% - 10% trophy games on their trophy history.  Thank god Sony realizes how bad of an idea that is.

I boutght it for the free rental and the campaign and will do it again, hopefully with hardline. I actually like the over the top military "stories" and just shooting some mindless bad guys once in a while.

I dont find COD or any MP FPS fun. I also dont find playing the same game every day for 6 months fun.

It's a free rental so what's the harm? I don't really like Multiplayer, just my taste. So if I can pick up a game for nearly free and just play through the SP campaign quickly then so be it.

 
the rarity of those SP trophies for hardline might be semi rare, especially the later ones.

Most people dont even touch sp that play those games so doubt a shit ton of people will play it this time either.

I think the point is, even if the game is only 5 hours of sp, all the trophies minus 3 are SP. Usually most of these have a lot more mp trophies I think?

just looked at BF4, it had 6 mp trophies vs 3 for hardline.

My COD AW is still my highest point plat I own at 450... Tons of people play this for online only, and never plat even if it is easy. Makes for great rarity's like you said.
