Hey Flame Over pros,

Do we know what axe does? I pick them all up but don't think I've seen anything different happen with them.

And do I need to buy something from the in-level shop to use these revive updates I'm buying, or am I missing something like a big dum dummy?
Axe is used to smash doors that need smashing. You don't need to pick one up unless it breaks. They are also renewed when you fill up at the starting room.

To revive you have to buy the defibrillator. I think it has to be the item equipped (switch with left/right dpad). Then I think you press triangle. But I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm always too late.

You mean buy it from that weird dude that hangs out in burning buildings trying to turn a profit?

I never ran into a problem smashing doors open, I figured you didn't need anything fancy. Good to know the ace is a required renewable thing. I go to thee starting station to renew quite a bit, so that's probably why I haven't needed to seek one out.

Gat out of Hell's story is super short.  Essentially if you saw the trailer the Broadway-esque trailer they released a while back, you know the entire story.  The trophies are a bit of an insane grind.  If not for the leveling up all weapons, it would not be terrible, but you get nowhere near enough money by doing all the other challenges to be able to upgrade them all.

Then they have the aggravating fraud mode back where you have to rag doll and bounce between cars.  The events for those were super easy compared to before.  Really, they are a total joke.  However, there is a trophy I have been trying to get for the better part of the morning where you have to bounce off of 5 cars without hitting the ground.  It is being an absolute bitch and is kicking my ass.

Can the axe eventually dull?

And yeah how the f do you revive?

Yeah I'm pretty much only playing it when one of you guys are playing with it. Not enough variety now.

I'll probably get to 100k eventually but not for awhile.
I'd like to get the capital/home world events, but like everyone else on earth I think 100k kills is entirely ridiculous. I'd like to play a difficulty 12 mission too and I'm going to take care of the stealth thing today since I have a perfect mission for it.

Trophy acquired thanks to thread-complaining in 3...2...1...

Beat the campaign on monster monpiece last night. Probably going to keep going for the plat though. Gotta get some more mp action for all the new card packs I unlocked.

Been thinking about the order every day since I finished it. Really wish they would have made some kind of extra mode(s). maybe the last of us will scratch the itch.

Star Wars is super fucking creepy sometimes when you know Luke and Leia are siblings. The weird thing is that George knew this going into these movies, and he still made them act super weird and creepy.

I finished the Vanquish campaign tonight. Now I have to get the rest of the Pangloss statues and misc. trophies...then I can tackle the hard part.

Also, Vanquish 2 needs to be a thing.
I saved clean-up for last and did challenge maps while my hard reflexes were still fresh, but that's up to you. Though mainly I did it that way as I wouldn't have bothered doing the other stuff if I wasn't able to finish the challenge maps. It's the same reason I don't have much incentive to do the rest of the single player Binary Domain trophies since they put in the ultra grindy multiplayer ones in order to get the plat.

Spent the last half hour dressing a ghoul at monsterhigh.com (isn't this what happened right before you guys broke my last laptop?)
That sucks. Going this afternoon to check out mine.

Let you all know if I find anything good.
Not sure if I will make it to the mall area today. Was going to BestBuy to trade SaintsRow 4 but might just goto the one near my job tomorrow. My Target probably doesn't have much they never seem to.

Ya...despite what he claims, I highly doubt he wasn't making it up as he went along from movie to movie. In fact, in earlier versions of the Empire Strikes Back script, he meets his father Anakin and is told his sister is training to be a Jedi in secret. Luke's (non-brotherly) love for Leia was also going to be something Darth Vader was going to use against him to try and push Luke to the dark side of the force, basically "you will lose her to Han unless you have the courage to embrace the strength that is within you."

Got to the Laboratory. It was pretty nerve wracking in 2-4 as I ran out of time and kept having to draw death away from the last room, go back and put out some of the fire, repeat. After I got all the fire out and death was chasing me close behind, my hands were shaking. Of course I didn't last long in 3-1. Score ended up £9,542. I wish it had a friend leaderboard.

Also finished all upgrades.

Oh and I really want to run over these guys that think they are pro cyclists riding their bikes three across in the middle of the road. They have the special helmets and bikes and wear all spandex like they are in some real race. Hey jackasses get the fuck out of the road. All you need are some steroids to be a real cyclist!
You also forgot 1 testicle.

Only two more days till Community Season 6

Yea his whole notion of a fully conceived 6 episode plot arc is complete and utter bullshit and has been proven to be completely false.

The best way to grind for me was equipping the Greed gun and killing hordes of enemies with it and using the jump and slam vacuum attack to suck in the money. Still takes awhile but ended up being much faster than doing activities.

That trophy you mentioned is also a bitch. Some guy on the trophy forums said to do it on the highway. That worked for me after a few tries and countless others before I moved there.

The axe hasn't broken for me yet but I'm wondering if that'll happen in the last set of levels. It seems like a dumb thing, but I do believe I've been knocking down more doors in the lab.

Also, the upgrades you buy after you die should be permanent and applied automatically. The powerups you guy from the guy in the store are limited to that playthrough.

I finally used the defib last night. The good news is that it's reusable. The fire and acid balls in the labs are bitches that love targeting and insta-killing all the survivors. It's getting really tough with acid on the ground and everywhere and every inch of every room filled with fire.

I looked up the game on TT and only 1 guy reached the last level and beaten it + under 1 hour.

I'm about to Flame Over on mine.

Yeah, I was doing that to grind cash. It is definitely the best way. I decided to try and knock out everything else to break up the grind. The highway is definitely the best way, but with the garbage trucks being the main thing that could knock you up in the air but also the thing that would blow up all the other cars so that you had nothing else to land on made them a blessing and a curse.

I just got it because of a lucky spawn. I had one of the taxis coming at me and I saw 2 garbage trucks behind him. Luckily there was even a third and I managed not to choke and hit the 5th car. So glad that one is done. Now back to the grinding money and a couple others to clean up and this one will be done.

The Laboratory is super difficult. Water only seems somewhat effective on the acid fires or whatever they are. I haven't even completed one stage yet!

Gator I had the gold coast pranqster and the chimay blue last night. Both fantastic. LA trapp is up tonight. So far only the new Belgium wasn't fantastic. I think they use too much hops even for their Belgian beer. It was way too bitter for me.

Even with all that nothing stands out as a lot better than the unibroue beers so they will probably be my go too after all these. Based on price to quality ratio they are way ahead.

Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? If so, go there and see if they have any Vintage Ale left. The label does not say it, but it is made by Unibroue for Trader Joes and is pretty damn inexpensive and really tasty.

Has anyone here played the GOW collection on Vita? If so, are the trophies as glitched as people online claim they are?
I haven't gotten to the second one but platted the first on Vita. Didn't have any issues with trophies, the one problem I had was on the speed run when I tried to do one of the "puzzles" in the wrong order and broke it. Had been using a single save so had to start the whole game over and was almost three hours in. I would just make sure you're using at least two alternating saves.

yep. Commons for life. Simple and mindless is how I like it.
I hope you plan on auto popping the ps3 trophies too! Commons rock. Have you finished Streets of rage yet? I read about the glitch for the 800k points but it's the most complicated instructions I have ever read on the Internet so I'll probably try to do it legit.

I platted that Sherlock Holmes game. It was boring as shit so I just finished it up with a guide completely after the first case.

I already 100% the ps3 version a while ago but deleted the save so I am playing the vita version from scratch. I like it though so not a problem but if you or someone else want to co op with me it would be great.

The streets of rage "glitch" is still really hard to pull off. So i pretty much gave up on it.

What a pain in the ass it is to get a group together to do Call of Duty Zombies shit. I really should just be playing AW now as they release so I don't have to worry about it later. Though, I said and did the same shit with Black Ops 2 and I've yet to finish 3 of the maps.

I already have the 100% on both versions, so I don't have it installed anywhere anymore.

All of em pretty much. Was playing Moon earlier on BO. Also, I don't have any of the MW3 DLC, but I'm pretty sure I never got around to finishing spec ops and survival on that one.

Is that the one where you use the PS button to stop the game?
I would assume so based on what suspend mode is. I did not research it at the time, but he told me he had the "suspend glitch" everyone was talking about on the trophy sites. The only other thing I remember is once that glitch kicked in, no trophies would pop afterwards.

I need all the non-DLC stuff on all those games too. I have some of the dlc maps, but would definitely pick any other ones up if we got anything going. I think Velo wanted to get some of them done as well. You 2 would definitely carry the team.
