They say they're matching what the brewery sells it for. They just added 6 new tap lines, and will be getting a lot more good limited edition beers in. I'll probably make it over there Tuesday night to do some tasting.

I did the math while I was doing yard work today, 100k enemies would take about 30 hours solo. Probably a lot longer on teams. Since it also takes about 30 hours to get enough xp to hit level 25 (with decent teams on high difficulties) this calculates out to one long ass grind of a plat.

final fantasy type 0 on the other hand looks to be commons central, with 8% having the plat already two days before it releases.

Have it been out in Japan? I wouldn't be surprised though since FF13 has pretty high percentages.

So I ended up playing PSASBR online on PS3 for the past 2 hours. The sad part is I only got matched online with the guys twice and they weren't helpful at all. I ended up getting all the online trophies with randoms. Now I'll probably slowly grind out the dumb campaigns throughout the rest of this month.

Edit: Apparently I did all the random matchmaking but forgot to do one match against a friend. Can anyone hop online and play a match against me? It shouldn't take more than 5 mins.

Its trophy list didn't look that difficult when it leaked, and there are barely more than 10 people who have it right now. I suspect the plat will eventually be Uncommon, possibly Rare.

 
I'll have to try to remember that trader Joe ale. They only have one right now and it is in south Tampa so doubt I'll get any anytime soon.

He may be talking about the Boatswain line. That is not the stuff you want. You only want the Vintage Ale. The rest is made by Minhas and are not Belgian style beer.

The Boatswain line is cheap. The Vintage Ale is inexpensive. Big difference.

That is a new one. I have not seen that one when I have been. Turns out it is contract brewed by Gordon Biersch for them. I would expect it to be better than the Minhas stuff. I'll give it a try if they have it next time I go.

I prefer good beer to cheap stuff but I also don't drink enough to really say where things fall in the grand scale. Works for me personally, tastes good, and I would buy it again.

Honestly, the first probably half hour of the game is you farming coins so you can buy the shit to enter the actual ruins. So maybe do that ahead of time? But once in the ruins, yes you'll just be fumbling around.
 
Those shitty game moments when you finally beat the tough as beef jerky 5-part end game boss, only to have to travel a great distance on a timer and having that timer run out a screen before the last one, making you fight that end boss again...

Or similarly you throw everything you have at it and emerged with like 5% HP and then are immediately killed by some low level trash thing.

 
Just had a great run on Flame Over. I started from the beginning so I could get easier missions and ended up in the second part of the labs. Took me about an hour. I saved 45 people and 8 cats. I'm the hero this building deserves!

For most of the run and first two levels/floors I was over/around 5 minutes. I got lucky with lots of survivors. Of course it got really tough when I hit the labs. That damn acid!

I purchased quite a bit of powerups during the run since I was swimming in money. And I just unlocked the last upgrade for the fully upgraded trophy.

I'm still trying to figure out what some of the items do like the spike boots and gas mask. I'm not sure how much they help against the acid. The Holy water slows down death when he's chasing you.

Whew. La-Mulana has officially been beaten. Thankfully I was able to finish off the end boss again and make it to where I needed to with plenty of time this time.

Gonna mark that as a done for MopUpMarch even though there's probably no chance I get the plat. But I moppped up what I could during my play.

I can't wait for this game to go plus and watch my rarities and TT score skyrocket.
