fresh new batch of ultra rares thanks to tales from the borderlands(yes, i know they'll be common soon) surprised they're that rare after being out for a day. even more surprised that the trophies for chapter 5&6 are rarer than the trophy for completing the episode.

God, this Alice: Madness Returns trophy guide!  "Somewhere in chapter 2"  "Near the end of chapter 5"

Just tell me what fucking sub-chapter it's in!  Jesus!  The sub-chapters are there for a reason!

You guys were right.  Soldner 2 on Vita is real nice to look at and fun to play.  Only dumb complaint I have is unskippable cut scenes.  Thankfully they are very short, but still, give me the option to get back to the action.

I have been getting to work early giving me time to play Alien Breed and now Soldner X for a few minutes in the car before walking in.  Buying the Vita was an excellent decision for more game time.

Nice. Early morning in the US. Do they really think there will be enough people up to play? I know there is the rest of the world and all, but it would be the middle of the work day in Europe and the US is still by far the largest market is it not?
I think they actually set this one off just for other regions (or at least sounded like they were going to). Looks like it'll be a winner too.

BF cant get right on the launches still.

Just played the prologue, SP is pretty slick so far and graphics are superb.

Why the hell is it taking FOREVER to install though. Jesus.
To be fair they were DDOSd so it may not be their fault on this one.

I think the graphics are awful. COD was much better looking. The cut scenes and menus are nice but the car chase scenes in particular are really basic looking. The sky and buildings look bland and flat. Even some of the explosions looked really bla.

They were DDOS'd on the XB1 servers, but there's no mention of that happening for the PS4 servers.

Thanks. I never looked into Diablo so I assumed it was something completely different. Just looked up a wiki on it and some screen shots and it looks really similar. Im gonna look for a cheap copy on AWD.

Dragon's Crown
Is it any good? I've heard mixed reviews on it.
Got some dungeon hunter game on vita I ain't played yet. I assume it's about the same as diablo from the screenshots.
I'm assuming you're talking about what Abscess mentioned?

Only played the prologue so initial opinion is just based on it, but yea reading what you said the cutscenes are great, and the stuff in the room was good, car chase was kinda blah, not a fan of in car views anyways.

I hate games that make you play through on one level to unlock another after you beat it. Just let me play hardline mode from the get go.

So my fiancée's work has implemented what has to be the stupidest attendance policy I've ever heard of. If you come in an more than an hour later or leave more than an hour earlier than your scheduled start/end time for any reason (even if it were something planned like a doctors appointment) you get a "point" in your file. 6 points and you're fired. The points don't go away either over time. Also, you can only "adjust" your schedule once per pay period (days off count in this) and you can't stay late to make up any sort of time during the week. Doesn't that make you want to work for them?

Going to be streaming for next 2 hours or so when have to get my beer etc ready for basketball at 11am.

Dear Diary,

I was having my best run in Flame Over this morning on the bus.  I rescued all the peeps and all the cats and completed all the missions.  Had full health and had some sweet sweet upgrades like the fast boots.  Made it to the end of the Executive level for the first time and had 5:43 on the clock and was getting all excited to hear that sweet sweet trophy pop.

But then, one second before I walk out the end-level door, the game crashes.  It crashes.  Mutherfucking crashes.  I boot it back up and nada. And I'm on the fancy express bus vs the through downtown regular bus, so I can't shout expletives to the gaming gods.

So here I am telling you about it.  I wish you could give me a hug.

Love, peace, & hairgrease

Yours, Zimm

murder someone on the bus. this is like the only time you'll have an excuse that the authorities would accept so you should take advantage of it.

I probably should not mention this since if he fills out a bracket he will probably win.  However, I know I would want to know if it were me.

Pitfall, you haven't actually submitted any picks after signing up.  Your possible points is 0.

One of Diablo's original influences was Gauntlet.

Dragon's Crown is a side scrolling beat em up so I wouldn't really say it's similar other than hitting a bunch of stuff and getting some treasure. It was free through PS+ at some point last year.

Dungeon Hunter Alliance (think that's the right title) was a launch Vita game I believe and a port of a mobile Diablo clone.

Heroes of Ruin on 3DS is like Diablo, so probably therefore like Gauntlet Dark Whatever.

But that game sucks a big bag of mayo covered mushrooms, so don't play it.

Some mecha-fighting/shooting game on PS4 named Astebreed apparently released on the Japanese PSN today (3/19), but the newly-posted trophy list on PSNP is in English: http://psnprofiles.com/trophies/3436-Astebreed

It's on the TBA list from this blog post, so maybe we'll get release date info soon.

Gameplay trailer for the PC/Steam version (it says "PS4" in the video title, but there's no mention of that at the end of the video):

Man, Battlefield hardline is soooo easy... Playing on hard and just flying through.  Only times I die are when I am trying to arrest some warranted suspects.  then I just reload and stealth kill everyone else.  I did have a warrant arrest in chapter two not be recognized so i will have to replay.  but as long as you just stealth kill from arresting or using the stun gun, it is super easy.

Edit: Also I am at level 9 already and just finished episode 3...

Done. Although I am guessing it won't pass moderation.

are you enjoying your initial play through?
Yeah I enjoyed it. The game was a bit long it felt sometimes, and I didn't really love all the side stuff it added (sidescrolling shooter level, rolling baby head level, etc). But overall it was really fun and the setting were really enjoyable. The combat worked surprisingly well though the auto-lock was a bit finicky.

No plat though, not going to bother going back and getting the collectibles.

Mild/Pete, I now envy your library even more. Apparently mine uses Gamespot's reviews to determine whether to buy M-rated games, and we all know how awesome those guys are at reviewing. Since Evolve and Ground Zeroes got 8s, they carry those, but Far Cry 4 got a 7, so they won't carry that.

Sniper Elite III was apparently a case of them preordering a game they thought would be rated T but "arrived rated M inadvertently". What a dumb system.

My mom's work is fairly similar. 7 points and you get written up, 3 write ups and your fired. But the points do reset every quarter and I think you can reset write-ups as well. Planned stuff like vacations and appointments don't get you a point as long as you request them far enough in advance. So it's far less stringent. I really like it, I wish I could implement something here with my team but HR says I can't.

Your faincee's system sounds pretty barbaric and I assume it will transform over time. Otherwise they'll end up firing everybody that works there.

I do like that can't stay lake to make up work rule. Allowing stuff like that encourages employees to not be there the hours you actually want them there. I don't allow employees to make up time unless we are super short handed, which we rarely are.

Waiting for my car to finish up a maintenance visit I am in the middle of my best Flame Over run. Started at the beginning and I think I've saved all humans and cats and done all missions through the Executive, stocked up on good equipment (defib, people sensor, large water tank, magnifying glass) and am now at the Labs. The people sensor (ok, that's not the name of it - I'm forgetting) shows I've got a room with 4 humans in it fairly close by, so that's 4 minutes right there. They finished up with my car and I had to pause it. Can't wait to get back to it tonight! Let's do this!
