Dark Souls update #572:

I AM DEFEAT ALL CAPRA DEMON

I know you're all bothered. What annoyed me about that fight is that it's all dependent on how you get back in the first five seconds. After that it was quite trivial. It's the only part of the game so far where I've felt "cheated". So I didn't feel elation, just relief.

That said, killing the Capra opened up a whole new area to explore, and that's exactly what I'm playing DS for. I'm starting to understand the praise lavished upon it.

Well I was. Then I got cursed.

I really doubt 'Susan' is a guy. And the Souls fanbase have always been 2hardcore4u jerks. I enjoy the games a lot, but on my own terms, and I've always felt the whole "git gud" thing to be incredibly obnoxious.

As for the anti- people, Bloodborne is a console exclusive and console people are very childish. Most of the backlash is from non-PS4 players lashing out that they can't have a shiny new toy. And the rest are people who legitimately don't like it or find the game too fucking hard which, to be honest, is perfectly valid.

I learned years ago to just turn my brain off for any sort of entertainment media, whether it be film, television, video games, etc. The constant use of the same old tired tropes would have become tiresome back when Team Rocket always got got.

Speaking of tired tropes, spoiler alert! - your first assassin buddy in AC Unity is a traitor! Who the fuck could have seen that coming!?

Actually, I'm having fun with it. Granted, I haven't played an AC since Amurica, so I may be a bit more willing to ignore the framerate issues, glitches, idiotic story, clunkiness, etc, etc.

Is still fun, tho :bouncy:

 
The Obscure collection is finally on sale (50% off).. this is the first sale it's had after the launch discount.

I think we can thank Casey for this, he was in contact with the dev trying to have a sale for the games on his site, but the dev ended up having a sale on steam first lol

I had no idea what this was and was going to make a joke about zombies and Huniepop. then I looked at the Steam page and saw it includes zombie attacks and upskirts. So... I'm in, I guess.

He should have called government lawyers in Rhode Island who didn't know what a video game was and asked them for a sale. That's a great way to not have them put it on sale at Steam first.
