Gamestop's "Save Estimate"

Does anyone know how Gamestop's "Save Estimate" actually works?

To make a long story short, I saw a game was trade in value of around $30.. a game I recently won a second copy of free.

So I decided to trade in the game, and used the Android Ap to save my estimate. When you save an estimate, it says the price point is valid till closing of that day.

The game was in mint condition but the computer in-store only had it listed as $25 trade in.

So I double checked using my phone.

On the Android Ap is still said around $30 (it was like 29 and some change)

Using the actual Web-browser on my phone, and instore it was listed at $25.

The employees didn't know how to fix it, and after contacting the customer service, they would have had to deal with a POS (Point of Sale) rep to correct the price.

I've made a formal complaint to the company over this discrepency.. but has anyone else ran into such a problem?

Not yet, but nothing surprises me when it comes to GameStop. NOTHING.
Yea, the store manage and keyholders at the store had no clue about the "Save Estimate" or how to pull it up.

When we contacted customer service at first, they tried to explain it was due to disc quality.. until it was explained to them that no, I was getting the full amount listed in the computer but NOT the full amount as the ap said it was worth/estimated.

The right hand doesn't have a clue what the left hand is doing. Typical disjointed corporate ignorance.

I only go to my local GS when the GM or this other guy are working. They actually have a clue what's up.

Mine just got a new GM, while all the other employees remained the same.
