I was happy with no one knowing why Keeper wasnt part of the IA team any longer cause Gator is right, it wasnt my business.  If you work with or for someone you may be let go, if you will, if you arent getting along or doing what the others/boss ask of you.  And as an outsider who had no idea what happened thats what I assumed.  I knew if people kept prying into it dumb shit like this would happen as someone has to get all bent out of shape about it.

I hope Keeper and everyone keeps moving forward and trying to get better every day at whatever they do.

And I hope everyone lets this thing go and moves forward too.  We can still talk about dumb shit all day.  Or you can all read about it through my dumb posts and opinions.

Also, I am going to start Flashback for #AA.  Cause Flashback is a remake so its an adaptation to me!

I have not posted here in awhile (for my own reasons), but I still do visit to see what is going on as I do consider some of you friends.

I wish instead of criticizing BestKeeper, a simple "we just feel the writing was different then what we wanted" was posted rather than that long old "rant" criticizing him and saying his writing is less than a high school level, not cool.

I also agree with Velo, while I don't really know Friskies thread, so I can't compare, I also find some links a little out of place, ie. Someone asks a question and instead of an answer a link is posted, I see where it can get a little annoying.

Despite my differences with some in the thread, I do wish IA the best and hope some happy medium is reached as I personally feel this thread is not what it once was or what attracted me here in the first place (which some may argue is a good thing, but whatever)

I just finished up through chapter 4 last night, and so far I like everyone but Machina. He's been pretty whiney lately. I have gotten a little more interested in the story, but I'm hoping Machina stops his teenage angst soon or I might have to start "accidentally" getting him killed on missions.

Also: did anyone play as anyone other than Ace? I'm actually enjoying playing as Eight (punches things) the most. A bunch of the other characters are fun to play around with as well (not a fan of mace girl (too slow) or the flute girl) just wish there weren't so many scenarios where it feels like long range is forced. Playing with Ace is super easy though since he gets infinity teleport dodges.

I have never seen anyone else in this thread say instead of just posting my review or thoughts on this game, i would prefer you to click on this link so you can read my thoughts. Guardian owl doesn't make me jump through hoops so he can get free shit when i want to read how he got past hard parts in vanquish. Vig and Tehcro aren't making me go to their site so I can see how they beat some super hard game super quick. This thread is a whole community I thought, not just a way for eastx/IA to get free shit through us. it isn't that you want us to read your words, or you would fucking write it here. idk. again, i just need some coffee n shatter or something this morning. but uck. what a bad taste in my mouth already. lol

Machina is the one I like the least, but you might want to keep playing before you decide to "kill him off".

Ace is my go-to guy, but I also enjoyed using Cater (SO FAST) and Trey during RTS missions.

 
Just cut back on the, I'll answer that question by following this link posts. Just post the answer/news. I don't mind posting links when it's a review, though. And yeah, eastx's post was bad.

Velo, eastx is not part of Inverted Access in any way! Please see my previous post. Eastx's opinion is his own and in no way represents our thoughts. Why are you taking his post and attributing it to me and gator?

This thread's tone is pretty confrontational at times. We have run off a number of posters who couldn't hack it. Or just got tired of the shit. It is the environment we a as a group (I have done it too) foster. I think most of the time it is done in good fun but sometimes gets taken too far. Then someone is pissed and looks for their opportunity to be a dick back to someone else later to get even.

EDIT: I just noticed it has a 9/15/15 release date. That's odd considering it releases on PSN in a week.

Love the trend of digital releases getting retail copies.  Not loving the fact that it's double the price and won't include crossbuy.

But honestly, they have to do small print runs and $30 is probably the absolute lowest they can go to make it feasible.

I understand they have to increase the price for the costs it takes to manufacture a physical release but I sure as hell am not going to pay $30 for it.

It's like $15. MSRP is double the cost of the original price. Not worth the uptick imo, but it does make me wonder if I should hold off on getting the digital now, and just see if the physical or digital version will go on sale first lol.

 
I guess if we knew that it was going to go up in value, that they'd sell out and there'd still be demand, then it would make sense to buy the physical copy. Otherwise the download makes a whole hell of a lot more sense.

 
Also, I dont think we got away from Frisky cause he copy pasted everything.  I for one didnt like the guy cause he answered everything like a robot.  He has zero personality and you can tell by the way he spoke on his videos.  Sooooo monotone.  Then when we got over here everyone started talking shit about his copy paste jobs.  Which is funny and true.

We actually left that thread cause some morons thought OT chatter was dumb.  Meanwhile all I ever see in that thread is dumb OT posts or dumb questions over and over again.  Which is another reason we left.

I do apologize if anyone is offended by me posting links to reviews or articles I write. I understand it comes across as self promotion, which is not my intent. I was looking for feedback on work I put a lot of effort into and of which I'm personally proud.
I spent a long time yesterday and this morning making a video for We Are Doomed that I was pumped to post here and get your thoughts on it, since I've never done a gameplay video with commentary. Now every post I make, I'm a god damn self promoting asshole.

Hell, even this post is me telling you I'm posting something to the site later.

I was going to wait for the digital version to go on sale or be part of Plus anyway, so it probably won't hurt to see which is discounted first.

as far as I'm concerned I hope the IA guys keep doing what they're doing. I'm not the least bit annoyed by the promotion and I think they actually write decent reviews. It'd be cool if they managed to have some success I think and I hope they get shitloads of free review codes because who fucking cares if someone else gets free stuff.

the main thing I'm pissed about is there was finally a bunch of fun video game news today after a bit of a lull and I'm having to sift through all this petty bullshit to find it. tighten up fellas, and tell me more about star ocean 5.
 
Keep posting your links. Nobody has to click on them. If we were running a site, we'd do the same thing. We're mostly cool with each other, and would help each other out with what we can. Even if the article isn't something I care about, I still click it to support the group. this is pretty much the only group I have left online, and I don't see myself finding another one. I'd hate to see it divided.

For smaller games like that with physical releases they really should include at least a token amount of swag for supporting it. For instance, the release of Duck Tales: Remastered included that little pin that probably only costs a few cents to make. A can cozy, a coaster, a small making of / artbook, a pin, something.

 
seriously eastx, you probably did waaaay more harm to the IA guys than good with that nutacular post. even knowing that you had no real association with the site that post left a nasty taste in my mouth too. I'm definitely steering clear of your streams now.
