I ate Hardee's a lot when I was in High School. That was back when my metabolism could handle the coronary disaster burgers they make. The Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger (sans mayo of course) might be the best burger I have ever had in my life. I think I knocked a few years off my life eating them before they disappeared.

While I realize that giving a shit about how bad a burger is for you at fast food is relatively stupid, they just go way too far. It, along with the fact that they seem to be gradually disappearing from larger cities in the south, makes me always look elsewhere on the rare occasion I am looking for a fast food burger.

Their breakfast completely destroys all the competition. That is the main reason I am disappointed they are disappearing and was almost enough for me to vote for them solely for that.

As far as fast food breakfast goes nothing beats a McDs egg mcmuffin.  I dont really like eating breakfast but I always get those when they are 2 for $3 or whatever.  I really miss the days when they were 2 for $2.

I only go to Hardees for the Red Burrito stuff. $5 for two tacos, a heap of nachos and all the toppings, and a drink is awesome. Voted wendy's tho because chicken nuggets. 

 
hardee's is great for breakfast. i don't really eat anything else they have. unless you count red burrito as hardee's(they're mixed together here).

i really don't like wendy's at all anymore, since they got rid of the monterey ranch chicken sandwich here. we stopped there a few nights ago, and halfway through my burger i said we should have went to mcdonalds instead.

I have never tried DQ for breakfast. I did not even realize they served it. I would be shocked if I thought their biscuits and gravy was better than Hardee's, but you have me intrigued. Too bad the closest one to my house is 10-15 minutes away.

Yeah, they're always slammed for breakfast here in town. I think this one actually offers the b&g all day.

Have you tried Wendy's Asiago Ranch Chicken Club Sandwich? That and their other chicken sandwiches are the only reason I still go there.

 
Wendys has Ghost Pepper Fries right now.  I had them Saturday with a grilled chicken sandwich.  Not bad but I didn't think they were that spicy.  I did enjoy the jalapenos on them

My boss used to give me $20 to swing by burger king on sat mornings and pick up breakfast sandwiches for everyone. They were all pretty good n tasty but looking back that stuff was probly toxic. but yum

 
Does anyone here have MGS: Peace Walker HD? I started it last night and it looks like quite a bit of co-op will be required while going for the plat. Backlog mentioned last year that he had it, but it looks like he's either taking a break from CAG or left altogether, so I figured I'd ask again.

A friend of mine told me the same thing, and I just don't get this at all. The people who don't like hot should know not to order ghost pepper fries. The people who do like spicy food will likely try it once and not bother again because they are not as hot as they would like. Isn't the purpose of a new product to get and retain an audience?

 
i'm mostly comparing the cheap shit with the chains. i don't normally go and spend $6-10+ at a fast food place. red burrito's super nachos are about as high as it gets for me. i usually just grab whatever the cheap double cheese/chicken sandwich is.

 
I used to grab 2 sausage crossainwiches at the BK around the corner from my apt on my way home from working night audit every morning before I went to bed.  That's good shit right there.

But the Hardee's biscuits and gravy is damn damn tasty too.  I need to try this DQ one now.

 
I felt a great deal of shame voting against Potbelly in the poll, then going there for lunch.  I could barely look the workers in the eye!

 
I just checked and the closest Dairy Queen does not open until 10:30 or 11 each day.  I am pretty sure that means breakfast is not an option.  The only Hardee's I know about is really close to it, so it probably would have been tough for me to drive there wanting biscuits and gravy and not just gone to Hardee's instead anyway.

Truth is, I can barely ever bring myself to buy breakfast out unless I am away from home.  I'm a big fan of strawberries and Greek yogurt.

 
Whenever Carls Jr. releases a new burger they usually look fucking disgusting. The only thing good is the girl they get to do the commercial. Sorry pitfall but that new diablo burgers looks like :puke:

I think it looks pretty damn tasty, but I am a huge jalapeno and bacon fan. Atomic Buffalo Turds are one of the best things ever.

That sandwich, like most of the Hardee's/Carls Jr lineup makes me think of this....

I just realized that ABT recipe is slightly different from mine. I use sharp cheddar instead of Monterrey jack. I do not use the sausages or shallots at all either.

I've had many sad days in my life but they were never from the lack of jalapeños.
 
I had hoped to plat Bloodborne in one playthrough, but I apparently screwed up the start of a quest line (Eileen's) by killing the Cleric Beast too soon. :headache:

As much as I like Firehouse's beef and cheddar brisket, that is the only thing I like there and it's expensive. Potbelly is just a better all around place.

Zimm, I hope the next time you go to Potbelly they're totally out of oreo crumbles and you can't get a shake.
