It appears the pre-order for magika special edition gets you in to an early release(beta?) Play period. No details, just says early May. Oh, you get a sword, staff, and a theme too.

You get that from the regular version minus the beta. I don't think it's worth it unless the levels carry over as I don't want to be burnt of the game so early.

 
It seems that P.T. is no longer downloadable, even if it's in your download history.

I "bought" it before the end of last month but didn't think to download it because tons of stuff has been delisted from the store before but not from people's actual download lists.  But welp, guess Konami is continuing to go full steam ahead for the title of worst fucking game company ever.

He can never follow through with shit. The last year of CAG awards were started in December and winners were announced in like June.

But just tweet him and ask maybe it will get his ass moving.

 
Looks like Best Buy is no longer offering a steelbook with Witcher 3 pre-orders.

Gonna keep hanging on to those reward certificates, then.

I may pre-order it on the last day.

Just 100%d Murasaki baby in basically one sitting because my autosave file fucked up half way through and I didn't want to start over.

that whole pt thing is shitty too. just tried to dl it, i saw that video the other day saying it was still cool to dl if it was in your library, but yeah just tried and says cannot download even tho it still appears in the library. grrr creepy digital media...

Original game review (which is included with the UE as well as the normal version), trophies are really easy, just play the game as all of them are story related.

Unfortunately the sequel is positively drowning in collectables so that may drive you a little nuts. It requires 2+ playthroughs for the plat but once you finish the game chapter select unlocks so if you beat the beginning scene and ending scene of each chapter it counts for the complete the game on nightmare difficulty trophy, so it's really more like 1.15 playthroughs.

That's weird, it's still on my download list when I look on the PC store.

Oh, that's pretty scummy that they can stop you from downloading it, I wonder if that is a new PS4 feature or something.

I never really give in and rush to download something but I did with P.T. when I heard about the delisting...it's on my system. Maybe I'll check it out around Halloween.

I just went through my download list, found it, and queued it up to download to the PS4. Does it not download from there?

Yeah, as soon as your PS4 attempts to dl it a message pops up saying "Cannot download".

I'm pretty sure this is totally unprecedented, as lots of things based on expiring licenses have remained available for download even after they were made unavailable for purchase. The common speculation is that it's being removed because Konami's contract to use Norman Reedus' likeness has expired, but again, so what?

Perhaps if Konami's PR weren't in a complete flaming tailspin the last few months we'd get some proper answers, but the company is so checked out now that I doubt we'll ever get any further insight.

 
Soph, scored a 1.1 mil on the daily challenge today. Jetpack in 3-2 and plenty of bombs. I think that's my highest score ever. Hasn't uploaded or anything yet, hopefully something doesn't get screwed up.

I got lost in that area when I first started exploring and those traps are awesome. Those snakes blend in well to the environment and can mess you up if you get a group of them attacking.

Congrats! Gotta love a million+ run. I wish I could've given you some competition but a shopkeeper took me out early in the Black Market.

...Wait, traps? All I've found so far (collecting every treasure I can find) are the snakes, giant snakes, tentacle-head dudes, and occasional big pig, and I've unlocked the shortcut which takes me to near the first shortcut back to the lamp. I haven't seen any traps since the pit covered by wooden planks in a small village earlier.

They showed Bruce opening up the fireplace like 2-3 weeks ago in a promo for a new episode. Since we hadn't seen it yet, I said to my wife at the beginning "I bet the cliffhanger is going to be Bruce opening the fireplace and finding the secret tunnel." I hate when shows give shit away in promos. But aside from being given away, it's a stupid fucking thing to leave us on...especially after an entire season of them saying "This show isn't about Batman, it's not about Bruce Wayne, it's not another origins tale." But if you put 25+ minutes of Bruce fucking Wayne into every episode and make him the focus for so many things, then it becomes exactly what you don't want it to be!

I normally don't think time jumps are done well in shows, but I think Gotham could really benefit from one. I'm not talking like a month either, pick us up a year from the finale, and then just do occasional flashbacks if we need to be filled in on something. I don't want to waste time with watching Penguin fight his way up the Gotham ladder while some other crime bosses try to take over the top spot.
