I'm not sure the VR missions (a voucher code) are worth replaying, that's why I passed on them when they were on sale for $1.49 on PSN during golden week a couple of weeks ago.
MGS1 is also just a voucher code and it's been between $4-5 a few times (I paid $4.89 when I bought it)

So $13.49 (HD collection) + $4.99 (MGS4) + $1.49 (VR missions) + $5 (MGS1) = $25ish. So if you want everything, it is still slightly cheaper to be patient for a sale and buy it piecemeal, but if there is anything you already own or pieces you don't want, it is definitely better to buy it piecemeal.

If you're not Elite, you have to pay shipping at Best Buy (if you're not Prime, obviously you do also on Amazon but it's easier to find $5 to add to the order, than $22). And tax at BB and GS. Most 3rd party sellers on Amazon don't charge tax. My deal is better! :booty:

I don't think you pay shipping on video games at Best Buy. I sure didn't for the last game I had them ship. Forget what that was. I'm not Elite.

Never mind: free on $35 and up.

Dear Diary,

We ate lunch that the Bobbies Dairy Dip in West Nashville. It was my first time going. I got a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, a corn dog, and a Chubby Checker milkshake. The milkshake was peanut butter and hot fudge.

Yes I feel awful and hate myself right now. It was however fantastic. So good.

 
Hooters was fantastic today.    Waitress was hot and loved sitting with us listening to our dumb sex stories.  One of the guys told us a story about how he had never fuck ed a fat chick before, so when he was in college at a party he went over to the fattest chick to hit on her and try to fuck her.  She denied him and he was so upset.  "She had so much confidence." I just lost it and we had a good 5 minute laugh/cry.  I was dying.

Damn the waitress was so hot.

That metal detector objective looks hilarious. Don't know how you can't love that. Obviously going to require having people to help protect you as you search for the unexploded bomb.

 
I might be getting a copy of Helldivers so I can join the fightgrind.

Last night I ordered a copy of MGS Legacy Collection. It was on sale for about $30 on Amazon. Not bad for all the games included. I guess I could start playing MGS1 first but no trophies sucks. To the backlog it goes.

I don't have any idea. It moves you a random distance - within some range but still random. Maybe there's some rules for it that I don't know that they can take advantage of. Even if you know those rules, to react as fast as they did is pretty amazing. I could hardly follow it.

just got a great glitch in gat out of hell. now I can't use any powers except stone blast, even though it says I have all unlocked. luckily I already beat those power challenges, but damn...

 
I just had to reset the system. I should have this plat in like 10 min, 30 max. maybe an hour ;)

also yeah I eat all the kiwi. I did it to gross my kids out once but then i got hooked on it.

I don't think it's random. I definitely have beat a few levels with it when I was working on Speedlunky, but usually fucked up after a while. Still, the skill he has with it is impressive.

Although score runs impress me more than speed runs anymore. And I'm not sold that you can actually teleport into the head like that, I had never seen that before.

Maybe it has ad-hoc? Obviously you can at least play the single-player parts of it. You can solo the campaign and the trials are solo-only. Not going to be great, but it might kill some time when you are waiting somewhere.

If it is ad-hoc that would be the dumbest thing ever. Let's spend time on a MP method that NOBODY fuckING WANTS instead of making online MP for the PS4 that would be the only way to get more people to play the game.

Nice. I might check that out if it ever hits Plus. It apparently has a bugged trophy (the plat is still at 0% on PSNP), but the devs are working on a patch judging from a thread on PST.org.

Seems possible. This game and Tower of Guns releasing so close together is unfortunate since they're very similar. Especially bad for Ziggurat since Tower of Guns seems to leave a sour taste in everybody's mouth, even though it shouldn't have.

Not to pick on Vig or anything, but is this not the most insulting thing you can say about a game?

I might eat a qdoba burrito if someone walked up and handed me a free one so that I didn't have to spend any money or effort on it. Or I might just throw it in the trash and eat something else. But your review makes it sound great!

 
I really want to play Tower of Guns.  I will probably check it out after Rivals and some Zombie Army cleanup.  Probably next week.

Speaking of that, Velo, Mild, anyone else with Rivals want to get the two online trophies out of the way this weekend?  They both should be easy and quick.  One race and one cop pursuit each.

...You make a good point, though I figured that developers still get paid when their games become part of a Plus lineup.

After thinking about it, I guess $5 or less would be a good buy-price for Ziggurat.

 
Thats okay Mild.  Tyler did the Sound Shapes thing to overtake me at one point as well.  And I decided to get a divorce so I could dedicate myself to playing more games and show him who is boss!   Your reckoning is coming too my friend.
