The reviews I've watched make it seem interesting. It's the top down bullet hell perspective, but it's not a flying ship, you are on land so you have freedom of movement to the side and back and forth, there isn't forced scrolling. Also since it's on land, obstacles on the ground become a factor, there are saw blades that move back and forth, spikes which stick up from the ground, etc. It's also twin stick so movement is independent of firing direction. The character you pick determines the shooting pattern and you can cast a curse on an enemy by charging a shot for more damage, while cursed they are temporarily invigorated by it and become more powerful, but when slain give a lot more points. You can also curse yourself to temporarily boost your fire power.
I think I have it free from PS+. If so I can play it with you or anyone else.

Yeah I can't be bothered to rubber band for a trophy. I love the game still play it just because I enjoy it after having done everything else there is to do in the game, but I doubt I'll ever reach 100k kills. I hit level 25 originally with only a little lover 15k kills. I'm sitting around 18-19k now at 27. Haha. I used to 100% a few games I really loved back on 360 but since coming back to Playstation I haven't platted a single game. Playing the game for the game is what fuels me over arbitrary digital badges. Thats why I have 75 hours played in Helldivers.
Surprisingly I have 96 hours in helldivers, although I think about 30 is from rubberbanding. Still, way more than I usually spend playing a game.
I've been meaning to start my next AC and Brotherhood is next so I could help with the MP. Looks like the MP trophies aren't bad if you boost. Let me know if/when you wanna fire it up.
I have about 87 hours. 57 of them are probably from banding.
