fucking ditto. Well I played half of the first level but the controls made me angry, so I stopped.
I knew I would never play that game again unless there were motion controls. That game kicked ass on the Wii. That is not a sentence you can use very often about a game not made by Nintendo.

I still haven't played RE4 that I got from a PSN sale last year. Slap incoming.

Despite the system that game is a must play IMO. I'd be up for a PS4 version with a Plat as well. I don't even normally Plat but that I might.

I think I got about half way on the Wii version. To the escort missions on the mountain if I remember correctly? It was pretty cool. But I wasn't very good at it.

Speaking of moshing, I did my fair share back in the day. The most ironic part to this day to me is that I'd seen plenty of "heavy bands" and went straight for the pits with no issues. Then when I went to The Tibetan Freedom Concert (2 day festival) fuck ing BLUR of all bands was playing and I got blindsided by a swinging arm. Who the fuck moshes to BLUR? Got a bloody nose. Only moshing related injury I ever got...lol.
Maynard was aggressively fake jacking off when he did the perfect circle song 'thinking of you'. it was pretty funny

and yeah i used to mosh all the time and im like 120 soaking wet. but at pops there were always drunk construction worker/biker type 200+lb gorilla assholes that werent there for the band but just to get drunk and deck people. biggest group of douches. especially when it is mostly teens and then you get these 30 something year olds just there to drink and swing their arms around. i loved the comradarie of the mosh kids tho when someone actually went down or got hurt and everyone tries to pull them back up and be like awesome job man good show, especially when everyone starts getting sweaty and taking their shirts off. looking back it was strangely fight club homo erotic yet it never broke out into full gay orgy. sorry that story went off on a weird tangent and off tracked quite a bit

I have a copy of RE4 for Wii that I've never played. I have never played any version.

If a smaller tour I want to see isn't coming to Indy or Louisville, Sauget is about the closest they come. I always think about going, but then I remember all the shitty tales I've heard about that place and decide against it.

Wildest show I was at was back in 01/02ish for the Pledge of Allegiance tour I believe...It was Slipknot, System of a down, rammstein, and many others in Madison. Rammstein was nuts with all the pyro, lighting himself on fire and shit. As soon as System came on, the whole arena just packed in tight, and everyone was basically suffocating on each other. I finally got pushed into a mosh pit which actually felt relieving. Went crazy for the whole set, and was dead tired by the time Slipknot came on.
I saw Manson a couple times recently, and no one was going crazy at all. Everyone now just dresses all crazy, and just stands there, so lame. I remember a lot of mosh pits at the Local H shows I used to go to all the time years ago.

My next show is Dave Matthews Band in July at Alpine. Much better crowd for me these days. Hours of tailgating in the field, and some good laid back music.

Last night while playing Garden Warfare or whatever it is called with Velo and Cleaner I realized something we all already knew. I suck at competitive MP, especially shooters. I was pretty bored really. I liked playing the co op with you all much better so I am down for that again sometime.
Competitive MP sucks man, especially shooters. Rocket League is the only competitive MP game I've been able to get into in years. Besides that, competitive MP is super boring and frustrating to me.

I like the idea of HD remasters of older games that haven't had the remaster treatment before. Remastering RE1 was a great idea and that's why it sold so well.  I doubt Capcom sees/will see the same sort of results with DmC and Devil May Cry 4. 4 they might have a bit of luck with because it has been years since its release.

Basically, I'm for remasters if it's been a while and its a good title. I don't need remasters of RE5 and RE6 though.

Crazy Ministry/Rigor Mortis story, so in 2012 I get a call from my brother. He's a mortician and tells me that he embalmed Mike Scaccia. Mike died from a heart attack during the show.

Scaccia collapsed onstage shortly after midnight on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at The Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was performing as part of the 50th birthday celebrations for Bruce Corbitt, the singer from Rigor Mortis; he died between 11:36 am and 11:40am on Sunday, December 23 at a local hospital. Although initial reports suggested a seizure possibly caused by the strobe lighting at the venue, the coroner indicated the cause of death to be "sudden heart attack brought on by heart disease".[5][6] He was 47. A memorial service was held for Scaccia on Sunday, December 30 at the Aristide Event and Conference Center in Mansfield, Texas.

Nothing like deciding between two extremely overhyped options.
I can't speak for TLOU, but the hype for Mad Men (deservedly) died down quite a bit over the past few years. That's what happens when you make a show where nothing ever fucking happens.

Mad Men just pisses me off so much because the setting, ideas, and even characters are really top notch. Then they're taken nowhere by pretentious and "artsy" writing that essentially just drives everything in circles.

If church was really like this with the music of Slayer, I might be interested in attending:

I played RE4 for 5 minutes on gamecube once. I freaked myself out expecting zombies to pop out of that forest you walk through in the very beginning of the game, and ended up shutting it off and never went back. I now know there aren't even any damn zombies in that forest and little me was a giant wuss.

Picked the game up when it was on sale that one time, haven't started it though because backlog.

I'd be down for PvZ sometime, love that game. Its ridiculous but still kinda challenging which is cool. I think I've mostly got to get Garden Ops trophies, and those assist or kill streak type trophies.

I couldnt name one Weezer song either.  But I really dont bother to remember song names much anyway.  I know Metallica songs and some newer metal and that it.  My brain is pretty devoid of memory except for sports, mostly football, and video games.

Oh and I am pretty sure I dont like Weezer even though I dont know the names of any of their songs.

1st place clanwar last weekend in cod aw. woot woot. only thing that threw me off a bit was they mixed in dlc pack 1 in with the standard maps and i didn't play much dlc yet, but still awesome. i think lots of people don't like competitive mp because they aren't good at it. i don't look forward to the day my reflexes and eyesight can't keep up...

Yep. That is def one of the reasons I dont like it. But part of that is because to be good at competitive MP in video games you have to play each game for hours...and hours...and hours. I just cant do that even if I wanted to. And I dont want to. And in Garden Warfare and other games the more you play the better stuff you get so you automatically have an advantage over newbs. Another barrier to entry for me bothering with it.

I'm with you on that one. 2 & 3 are long overdue. I wouldn't mind some recent stuff if they made other improvements. Updated controls, New mechanics, New features, or multiplayer(dragon's dogma). I'll settle for 2 & 3 though.

Yep. FPSs were more fun when they didn't have this leveling up and unlocks nonsense. I'm already bad at them - I don't need the good players to have additional advantages over me.
