They need to at least list the theaters before the tickets go live. I know I will be looking to see where they have locations here and if it is close try to get a ticket. If I knew ahead of time it was only downtown Atlanta, I wouldn't bother going back at ticket time.

Yeah, I was leaning towards luigi. Only pause was that I'd have to wait for it to ship instead of just picking it up with xenoblade. I don't mind the ~40 for the two, these buy 1 get 1 50% sales of best buys seem to be the only good ones for nintendo games. I'd also rather just grab the physical copies of nintendo stuff before they become impossible to find like OOT 3DS.

Gonna mull this over a bit more though. I think I'd rather just put the money towards splatoon in a couple days anyway.

I get that the Vita is basically boxed cancer (except to super smart people like us) but if you are dorky enough to own a 3DS or know what a 3DS is how can you be so oblivious as to not know what a Vita is? That never adds up in my head. 

Hopefully the Vita gets its 3rd iteration @ e3 with HDMI and micro SD for storage and Sony can finally prove to the world what the superior handheld is. 

I've been in a few Gamestops lately and I look at the 3DS library of games, always still looks super barren to me. Sure you have some stellar first party stuff, but compared to the DS library there is so much missing.

That's for sure--the DS library has like 1000x more shovelware compared to the 3DS library.

I really don't think that I'd ever take advantage of an HDMI port on a Vita. I can't see playing a Vita, tethered to a TV. I guess you could make it work with DS4s, but even then, I'm not sure why I'd want to do that, versus just playing it on the Vita. So from my perspective, adding an HDMI port would just be a waste of money.

Yeah sure but we are also missing stellar Castlevania games, actually good Spider-Man games, unique stuff like Pac-Pix ( fuck you all loved that game), action titles like Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, weird little Prince of Persias and Assassin Creeds, unique new games like Lunar Knights and Solatorobo. The list goes on and on.

Not to mention Nintendo's own stuff has missed the mark like Paper Mario Sticker Star...that game sucked. Take away the awesome N64 ports and the library is even worse. Just not the same anymore.

Personally I'm just getting much more enjoyment out of the wacky Vita library.

Random ass question:

Any reason to keep Gamecube Wind Waker if I just got Wii U Wind Waker? I'm guessing no. I have my old save and I think I was up to the triforce hunt but I feel like just starting fresh. Thinking it's for the better, it would probably take me awhile just to get re-acclimated. 

Figure $30-$35 I could get for my complete black label copy is worth selling it off.

I am probably going to start Unity tonight and I know Gator, Munky and I need the co op trophies.  We need a 4th, or if I am missing someone let me know.  We can get together to play co op sometime over the next few weeks.  It seems to be fairly quick and you dont need to unlock MP.

There not going to release the theater list until the tickets are actually available. That is really stupid. Like gator said, that is going to create even more traffic from people who check the theater list but don't end up getting tickets.

I don't know that I'd call the coop quick. Some of the missions can take a while and some of them can be frustrating as you try to figure out how to get through it without fucking up too badly. If you get wiped you go back to a checkpoint, and that does happen. I also think only some of them have a 4 person requirement.

Lastly, if you're going for the plat there are collectibles in the coop maps and they can be pretty hard to get to solo, so have a map handy as I don't think they show up until you walk near them.

Edit - it also helps immensely to have better gear. When the shit hits the fan they throw a ton of guys at you with a mix of ranged and melee from several directions. Without better armor they'll kill you quick.

When the Sony Experience goes live I should be able to get tickets. Hopefully there's a theater close and if the announce NeoGAF and people cheer I can yell out "NeoGAF sucks." That should make it all worth while.

The guide on PST made it sound like it should be fairly quick and easy. Didnt mention collectables on co op either, yuck. Edit: Oh I see it says collectables are needed to upgrade skills, which is a trophy so I didnt think of that as a true collectable and I guess "quick" was relative to the main game which is many hours. I guess MP could be 6 hours if each of the 18 missions is 20 minutes.

Because now that they've already developed the interface and control solutions with the PS TV it would be easy to implement it into the Vita itself. That way you could have the best of both worlds, access to every App and vita game with greater PSP and PS1 compatibility than the PS TV, and the ability to also hook-up and play on a TV (or just on the Vita screen) with a controller instead rather than have 2 machines to do it. Given the bargain basement prices recently I am assuming phasing the PS TV out and will not work that hard to make more games and apps compatible.

After removing Wind Waker I have 8 physical games left...it should be less because I don't "keep" Vita games in physical form but got these cheap. My dream of all digital is pretty much a reality. Anyway now all Playstation games:

Netflix and the Mouse are in a big time deal starting next year. I assume that is why the Daredevil thing happened as well as why those shows are on earlier. Next year Disney movies go to Netflix instead of Starz.

 
I wonder if the new NFS game will be current-gen only. If so that'd make it the first current-gen PS4 racing game, right? One not being held back by previous-gen hardware, I meant.

Was the Avengers 2 tie in the same style as the winter soldier? Where the episode was mostly detailing the aftermath? I know last time around I had to delay watching the Shield episode until after I'd seen the movie, but I wasn't sure where the episodes were supposed to fall in regards to ultron.

Already have on both. Even waited to watch Winter Soldier until I got to that point in Season One (same with Thor Dark World) so I could watch it as intended chronologically.

Not sure. My mom watches AoS and she said there was a tie-in, but I don't watch the show. Probably going to start up season 1 in a week or so. Right now I'm about to finish off Arrow S2, then I'll run through Daredevil real quick. AoS is next after that.

BTW, watched the Flash s1 finale last night. Really not sure how they're going to handle that ending. Should be interesting to see how they approach season 2. If they
do a reboot
then it would explain
the reveal of Cisco's powers
and also allow for the
Harrison Wells character
to make a return. Which would be good since he's the best actor on the show.

There really is no tie in with the show unless you count 2 passing mentions in one episode.
