I'm liking the game a lot so far. There seems to be a huge amount of content for $2.

I also got the Ghost Busted trophy for beating Cro's ghost, so that means I'm better at games than him.

I saw you on this morning bang out those missions. I finished the main story and put a decent dent in the social club missions. I think I have like 4 left to get that trophy.

Anyone down for some 2-4 player coop later? I did a few today with randoms but rather play with non randoms who have mics.

I have to run some errands and stuff probably be on around 7pm Eastern?

September has to be stealth/shooter/survival horror related in honor of the death of kojima and metal gear solid.

Yeah, I just decided to go for those while getting as many of the other collectibles as possible. I just finished all the enigmas and I am about to go for the armor now.

I am at 80% on the chests now too.

I am going to be likely playing most of the day. As of this point I would mainly just be interested in the 4 player co-op. Between you, Bums, and wren, I have already played most of the 2-player ones multiple times.

Maybe it is just some prints, but i definately saw other reviews saying they had same problem. I just took off the plastic a few days ago and it was already rippled. No big deal, 555 pages of content is amazing.

I love it but even lots of the 4 and 5 star reviews are saying it is rated so high for the content, not the quality of the book...
I'm glad you didn't have any issues tho, guess just random copies got messed up quality. but seems to have happened to more people than just a handful. You would think after the Demon Souls guide had the huge quality issues they would get their stuff straight. I never heard of a game's guides always having issues, but idk.

im just ocd like that tho. i won't notice ever while it sits on my bookshelf

Future Press didn't print the Demon's Souls guide. I am aware of the Demon's Souls guide problem. I laugh when people bought guides with ripped covers for $100.
 
Jumpin' June has a good ring to it. Just started Gravity Rush today so that'll be the first game I'll be playing through June.

I got the Rainbow Moon plat today..on my birthday! I'm stuck working for another 8 hours, then I'm going on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'll set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone that wants to tag along is more than welcome.
 
So is there anything redeeming about Escape Dead Island that would make it worth the $8 it is on sale? I know Velo hated it, not sure if anyone else has checked it out.
 
Jumping June is getting a lot of support including mine so we'll go with that next month. In fact I'm already ahead of the game. I beat Sound Shapes 6 times! And will finish Guacamelee STCE tonight. Just added a page to the Sheet along with Derek's list.

Sounds good to me. I bet I could do some of the 2 players solo anyway at this point. I have most of the upgrades. Or play then with pharm and Bums.

How long did that RM trophy take you?

Jumping June and Jugular June both sound great, TBH. We could do Jugular July, though. That actually flows a bit better.

 
Jumping June is the way to go. Cause I plan on blowing past Tyler with some sweet sound shapes trophies. I will be auto popping my auto pop trophy cherry.
 
the world needs a good new platinum games joint. scalebound has been mia since last e3 and will probably make a showing during the ms presentation, but what else are they up to?

I know they had that deal where you tear off the cover and they would send you a new copy, but i just couldn't get myself to do it. ;)

 
#SurvivalSeptember seems like a great idea. Like Velo said you can do survival horror games but also you gotta survive the fight in shooters and stealth games (well really any game) so it's all encompassing.

Hated it and platinum. im masochist like that like I know a few others in here are. There was a part where it said something about lizard people, so that was cool. It tried to do the whole omg trippy so crazy wtf lost thing a few times, but it was super cheap/crappy overall. probly a rental at best. idk

All you had to do was mail in the front cover and they replaced it with with a new copy. Now you have a guide where the ink can rub off.
 
Looks like I only got through 3 games this month. Rage quit GOW Vita after about half way buggy POS wasn't popping trophies. Decide I was not interested in play the first half of the game a third time (played it almost to the end on PS3).

Probably going to sit out jumping June. Going to finish up with Unity and then probably Ground Zero, The Evil Within and then Dark Knight. Not sure if I will play a 4th game in June. Maybe the latest Destiny DLC or the Unity DLC.

Thanks man! I combined invisible enemies and no saves, which was a little scary in the Lisa battle since she can knock you off the damn cliff. But other than that it wasn't bad at all. On very easy mode you can basically walk into every zombie with no fear. Just watch out for the hunters, chimeras and Lisa because of the one-hit-kills.

Real Survival mode was probably my favorite playthrough.

I'm about to start Real Survival, which scares me because normal seemed hard enough ;) Yeah I read combining invisible with no saves the roughest part is if Lisa knocks you right off the ledge. Crazy man and congrats!

any help with the speedrun besides know exactly what to do? my memory is a lil rough but there is no way to stop the ingame timer? (quitting to xmb, pause, anything?!)

This game reminds me of silent hill and going for the trophies. You just need to 'know' everything in the game and perfect run it. It is one of those games I should really stay with til i plat, cuz you take a break and totally lose your skills and then jump in on a higher difficulty and its all messed up. ;)

no save/invisible on easy. but you need to speed run Normal in under 3 hours for the plat, right? I had normal beat last night with 7 hours, but i was doing every nook n cranny.

Not long past the 100 hr trophy..maybe 102 hours? Probably 80% of that was done at work between last summer and this summer

If you quit to xmb and start another application (like Netflix), you can suspend RE and the timer stops. For speed run just run past everything, and of course don't save anyone.

I think you can finish with Chris faster, but Jill is easier if you're not as familiar with everything since she has the lockpick. Don't save Barry so you can take his magnum and one-hit-kill Tyrant.

I'm not sure how close I am, but I think I have to shave off a few seconds for just one event in Motorstorm RC to get the plat, and it's a stupid fuck ing Drift stage. I hate these.

 
For some reason I get errors every time I try to download the Future Funk 3000 DLC. I'm hoping that when I pop to PS3 I can download it and play it there. If not then I'm not sure what workaround there might be.
