This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Endless Space wasn't IGN Prime actually, it was some on Australian deal site for $1 and there $3 coupon for old users. (Which worked also for new users).

http://www.mmogames.com/giveaways/extended-games-glory-star-pack-giveaway/

It's free DLC for F2P.
It sold out really fast so I doubt anyone here got it, aside from you. I was around for that giveaway/glitch/whatever and by the time, almost everything was gone except for Skyrim.

You could have easily gotten the gold edition for around $2.50 from a Russian by stacking the 50% off coupon while it was on sale though.

You and Madj are like ghosts in the machine who catch every glitch even if it's in Outer Mongolia or Madagascar like 5 minutes before it happens.

We get it. But for normal people that don't have internet superpowers and all the time in the world it's a bit silly for him to act like we just sat around and twiddled our thumbs and intentionally Gilbyed some obscure ass glitch/exploit that lasted like 5 minutes.

I rapidly get the impression that Madjoki and Motoki are two sides of the same coin. One is just the evil incarnation of the original.

The thing is, I don't know which is which. And what is the parent being called? A Madtoki? A Mojoki?

Are you related to 90s popsters Moloko?

That reminds me of something I've wanted to ask for awhile now: Do some of you people not have jobs and just live on here? Here, being the internet.
An office job and a veeeeeery lax works firewall.

You'll notice when ours occasionally goes down as I'll pop on here with that GeorgeWBushDancing.gif

I guess I have a office job, however my commute to the office is pretty short, down a flight of stairs and have to navigate my way around a couple of animals...

I'd do more telecommuting but the 3+ hours on the road a day gives me a great excuse to stop off at almost any Gamestop so I can flip stuff to Amazon. Besides, having my home PC next to my work one is a very BAD idea.

I have a cushy desk job and unregulated internet usage.

Unfortunately, I also have (at work) a shitbox Dell from c.1620 with Win XP on it so the only thing it's good for is hitting forums. When the key drops come and stuff, I'm out of luck. It's actually annoying since my job involves looking at large (100mb+) PDF files with multiple layers and this computer chokes on all that stuff.

I work at home, but that may change soon, Tjee told me I need a better job so I can stop saving money on Steam wallet.
With the amount you're trying to save...

What are you, a housewife?

The offer is still on the table by the way.

I'll even throw in free dental care.

But you can forget about life insurance.

I'm currently doing a master's degree program in veterinary reproduction and I don't have time even to work, and that sucks because of all the +1s I might be missing for being broke.

So you're saying if someone offered you a free game and all you had to do was drive 20 minutes and take care of some other errands while you're there, you would say "Forget it, let me know where I can buy it online?"

We're talking about 3 bucks per 20 bucks.

You burn through more gas money just driving there.

Being that my car gets 25 MPG in the city AND I'm running other errands I would be running otherwise, and wasting that gas anyway, I don't see the point still. Sure, I could just order everything online, but then everything would be way more expensive and I'd be paying delivery and I wouldn't be saving my $3 per $20 on my Steam cards. So you're saying rather than spend $3 in gas to do all this, I pay $6 more for the two steam cards, order my groceries online at a markup, pay delivery for that, order a baby shower gift online, paying more again, and then hiring a delivery service to go pick up my clean clothes from the laundromat and bring it to my house. And you want me to tell the wife that instead of browsing the furniture and appliances she wanted to see in person she should just window shop online, because it's cheaper some internet guy told me to waste a ton of money unnecessarily so now we actually can't afford gas to go anywhere?

I found Tebow's game on itch.io

Be aware, you have to be mentally prepared to see the game with no brain injury, most likey, like Neuro5i5 will say.

Groupees here we come!

Also, as an MRA I am appalled and quite frankly sick and tired of the violence against men so pervasive in our society. If this was a woman, imagine the outrage?

Anyways, back to playing skull girls and vanguard princess and DOA titty volleyball.

Jeez, don't get your panties all in a bunch.

I was just saying that if you needed to drive 20 miles just to get to the store in particular, after which you'd perhaps do some groceries nearby, it wouldn't be worth it.

If you need to drive 20 miles anyway to do your groceries, that's different. Still, let's face it, three bucks is hardly a lucky strike. You win more playing the lottery.

Who said anything about 20 miles? In what world do you leave your driveway immediately going 60 MPH, make no stops or turns and avoid every non-highway, and get to Best Buy 20 minutes later?

I know that you are joking, but I have wondered why their is not a MRA group as women have NOW for instance. I realize that NOMAAM from Married with Children was a joke, however there is still something to asking for halt of discrimination of men.

To be serious for a moment in my life, NOW started in the 60s because the EEOC refused to support the notion of gender neutral job advertisements, allowing for companies to request male or female help even if there was no job related reason. So they were born out of necessity and continue to exist because of real issues that persist with inequality in wages, benefits, rights, etc. for women in our society. Men on the other hand tend to be able to do almost anything they please and really have no need to form such an organization. Men are protected, as women, from discrimination in the workplace so they could always pursue a complaint/lawsuit if they ever felt that was the case.

I really want Homeworld Remastered, but I don't see that going less than 50%.
I'll probably get this regardless of discount. The only reason why I didn't get it at launch was because my computer died right about that time and it took me awhile to fix. By the time I did, I figured I might as well wait.

I think it's about time I got Wolfenstein as well, and I noticed a month or so ago that Capcom finally reduced the base price for DmC. The sale price still wasn't as low as I originally wanted, but I guess I'll meet them halfway. I'll probably like it anyway and should probably stop being stingy.

Beyond that, my wishlist is quite large, so I don't know yet what I will round the above off with. Talos Principle maybe.
