I am weird, so I am actually psyched about the digital release. I'd hate to see it never get a release just because they don't like digital only.

If I picked up the collectors edition, would anybody want to buy my extras off me for just the cost of the difference and shipping? I hate accumulating collectors stuff.

Vita virgin here. Just have a quick question. I have final fantasy x hd on my ps4 but I want to play it on my new Vita. I understand the game wasn't cross buy so I'm going to pick up the Vita version but it is cross save.
I did a little research and it said something about how I needed to be on the internet while transferring the save data.

My main goal is to play the Vita version with said saved file at work but I'm not sure if I need an internet connection to actually play it or just for transferring it over.
You just need an Internet connection to transfer saves.

Thanks for making that thread! How is everyone printing the covers? Are you just printing it at home or are you printing it at like a Kinkos or something?
Word of advice, rename the files if you are going to print them at a kinkos or other printing shop. I have read people get turned because some these places will not print up copyrighted material.

I go to my local staples. They usually charge me like $.79 per cover. They peint em on high quality paper though and they come out looking great. I've heard of people on thecoverproject saying they've been declined from printing for copyright infringement but I've yet to ever have any issues. I also generally only print one copy of each cover and bring a bunch of empty cases with me to make sure they'll fit right. Idk maybe I'm just lucky.

Just got the firefly diary from NIS. first time i order from them and it came fast and in a nice box with lots of bubble wrap.

does NIS always ship stuff this good?

Yes. I haven't recieved a damaged LE in a while. I got Operation Abyss recently and it was packaged beautifully.

I've been using them since the Vita games have come around, and they only had an issue with Danganropa 1 when they switch shipping warehouses or something, but they made good on all the issues at the time. They for sure have the best free shipping around.

THANK YOU! I completely forgot to get a pre-order in for this and hoped I hadn't missed out.
well shit.. thanks for the link but looks like I missed out, seems to be out of stock now. Do you guys think its worth getting the standard version or should i just wait to see if it will restock again, or if std version will drop?

Just received my firefly diary from NIS and it was packed very well, my first purchase from them and I'm very satisfied. Can't wait to play it!

Fire fly diary is now out of stock. Surprised it lasted a week.

Also, I feel like I'm the only one that's kinda dissapointed of the size of operation abyss limited edition. I feel it's way too big. I'm not a huge fan of bigger limited edition's. I should had emailed nis and asked how big the box was going to be but honestly just thought their limited edition for the vita were pretty much the same size since I just got firefly diary and criminal girls. Oh well, I hope the new danganronpa game isn't going to be as big as this set.

Other than the size how is the CE of Operation Abyss? Been debating on it and/or the cheaper launch day edition with GCU. Is it worth the extra ~$20?

I guess different strokes for different folks. While I've enjoyed the smaller sets from NISA, this was the first one I received where I thought "WOW", this is a LE worth the extra funds. I found the larger size lends itself more to the LE factor. Normally, these sets seem like Gamestop freebies thrown in a box, that should have been just early buyer bonuses. This is the first Vita one I've received that didn't feel that way.

Yeah people who got the OA LE just notice how awesome that artbook is. It makes the package worth it even if the game may be lackluster (will play it in a month maybe). I do agree that the other NISA LEs are lackluster and not worth the extra money for a thin box, small artbook, some small extra and a soundtrack which I generally buy those for.

It depends honestly. For me, If I had known the launch edition came with the sountrack and box, then I would had been okay with just buying that. IMO, you're pretty much paying extra for just the art book. The art book is quality I can say that... But I don't know if its worth the extra 20 tho.

Wait. The launch edition came with the soundtrack!?! Had I known that, I would have just bought it at BB using GCU for $32 instead of paying $55 at NIS

I went with the Launch Edition at BB. Also didn't know it came with a soundtrack till it arrived today.

Cannot justify 25$ more just for a artbook unless it was for a series I was heads over heels for. I have given up on buying most of these niche LE/CE's. There are just too damn many lately. I'll just stick to the Atelier, Disgaea, and Hyperdimension series.

Completely agree.

EDIT: And I just ordered a launch edition from BB and will just toss my LE on eBay instead.

yea same. i want to return my LE but you would have to pay return shipping which sucks.

edit: NIS is allowing me to return it and not have to pay return shipping. Nice.

Anyone pick up Lego Jurassic World for Vita? I'm trying to find out if it includes the hub worlds, Isla Sorna and Isla Nublar. Or is it just a bunch of missions you pick from?

Is it really that hard to understand what I mean? A price drop on that starter pack is not a price drop *on a Vita.*

This being the Vita games thread, it was unnecessary to mention that that pack was for Vita (or you could use the Vita icon). It was just a little misleading, and I was pointing that out. That's all I meant - and now this has all been thrown out of proportion.

Not sure why you're thinking it was a problem, if you read Shimrra's post it is a complete sentence:

"Price drop on PS Vita Disney INFINITY: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Starter Pack GameStop Exclusive $40"

He didn't just say "Price drop on PS Vita"; as a sentence it makes complete sense, if you read it as a sentence.

I went a little crazy with the kongregate coupon today for cheap vita stuff. It was the perfect trifecta of finding a store with lots of stuff, an employee who told me straight up that I can use as many coupons as I want, and didn't bother to ring up my PUR card.

Here's what I ended up with. The prices are before he $5 off

$5.97         PlayStation Vita Cradle
$6.99         Reality Fighters - PS Vita (still had the "NEW" sticker, but it must have been converted to preowned).
$5.97         PlayStation Vita Protective Film (Two Pack)
$0.01         PS VITA Armor GameCase  (They had 2 of these still on the shelf. I didn't even need to waste coupons :bouncy:   )
$9.99        PS Vita Little Big Planet Kit with case and little sackboy figure (Brand new and factory sealed.  Converted from preowned).
$14.99        PS VITA Trigger grips for the 1000 model :D/

I never thought I'd get the OEM Sony Trigger grip for the 1000. They're hard to come by these days. That was probably my favorite find.

Just judging from the cover art, that Reality Fighters game looks horrible. It reminds me of Kinect and PS Move shovelware cover art. I still couldn't resist for $1.99.

Army Corps, Touch my Katamari, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma are also on my shopping list, but they are in generic cases at every store I check. Hopefully I can run across some with real cover art.

This is a decent case but if you plan to use it be careful as it can scratch the side of the 1000 model Vita (not sure about the 2000) because it's a bit too small and the inside of the zipper rubs against it. For $5 though it's a nice pickup just for the little bobble and costume DLC.

The Nyko power grips for both models are also marked down a good bit before coupon and wind up like $6 and $2 after if you can find them.

Thank you so much for the warning about the LittleBigPlanet case. That would suck if my system got scratched when I was just trying to protect it. I got this custom crystal case at Gamestop a little while back. It was brand new and converted to preowned as well. http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1434260003&sr=8-3&keywords=playstation+vita+case+custom+crystal Unfortunately it was the older model without Uncharted or Resistance cover art inserts like the Amazon listing displays. I'll have to stick with this one for the Vita 1000 I guess.

The thing I bought the LittleBigPlanet case for was my PSP 3000. I haven't tested it to see if it fits, but I might not even use it for that if those zippers scratch up the sides. I figured it was a good deal like to said just for the figure. I didn't even know it has DLC. Score!

Thanks for the links for the nyko grips as well. Those definitely look better to me just because the handles are bigger. There aren't any in stock around me though. I guess the only advantage the official Sony trigger grip has is that I don't think it has one of those dumb things shoved in to the plug at the bottom. For some reason, I don't feel good about that. It seems like it could mess up the power input, but my assumptions could be wrong.

Yeah, I don't like the plug part much myself but it's probably the biggest handles you can get for the Vita.
I wondered if that was just me and my videogame related OCD or if others felt the same way. If I would run across one for $6.97, I'd still probably buy it and try it out with my giant man hands.

tumblr_m5fbqdaNYN1rntezlo1_400.gif

I just tested it and the PSP does fit in the LBP case perfectly. And I put one of those $1.97 Gamestop silicone sleeves around it to protect it from getting scratched on that zipper. I'll still be careful not to scratch anything. Trying to squeeze a PS Vita 1000 in there would not be a good idea.

I can't believe I bought Uncharted and I already had it on PS+. Good thing I haven't opened it yet.
Hold on to that, its getting harder and harder to find it in the stores.
Not only that, but the game is big as well at 3.49 GB.

---------------------------------------

I got from GS using the coupons Dynasty Warriors Next (no case, it was in their drawer so I bet that is why it wasn't sold) and Hot shot golfs. Damn sad a few vita games are 4.99 instead of 5.99 lol

How did you use the coupon multiple times? Just used mine today to pick up Dynasty Warriors Next. Didn't have cover art but as the only gamestop in the area that has one I figure I'll print my own cover art. Would like to use the coupon again for army corps of hell though. I didn't use my pur acount with my purchase so should the coupon just be good to use again? Or once it rings up do I have to generate a new one somehow? Thanks dude
