Kills me to say it, but Microsoft is going to slaughter Sony today. I just get this feeling that MS is going to be bring games like crazy and Sony is going to waste half their conference with VR. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it could get ugly today...

 
I would like to pre-emptively say fuck the Rare Collection that MS is announcing because daddy wants to play his Battletoads godfuckingdamnit.

Remember:

You couldn't be more wrong. Sony killed it with Powers last year, and the year before that they introduced Book of Wonders and the world hasn't been the same since. All the crazy shit they pull from left field always ends up a home run.

OK I have changed my mind about VR. If I could lose weight playing FPS games while eating WTF I want that would be so much win.
 
Well that's a major win for the Xbone (Backwards compatibility for the 360) as long as they don't half ass it like BC with the OG Xbox on the 360.  Anyone have a preview invite?

Same, sad I sold all my games thinking I could never play them again.... Yikes Xbox could storm back after this, no joke. Parents would buy it in a heart beat knowing the games the kids have already work!

 
I know it's E3 but I just got the best news today well that's if Sony has a solid E3, BLUR is playing @ The Hollywood Bowl in Oct. I need to catch that show.

I have a decent amount of digital 360 games. Being able to play some of those plus a few XBox One exclusives makes it a bit more likely I buy one whenever the Gears of War comes out. Still not racing out to buy one anytime soon. But this certainly adds more value and isn't streaming crap like PSNow.

The one big negative (or positive depending on your perspective) to total backward compatibility is that may put an end to the string of the remastered editions of 3rd party titles as that's going to cause a drop in purchases who playing the xbox 360 version is "good enough."

I am fine playing most if the games I missed last gen for $10 or less then spending a lot more for a remaster.
