I find it funny how they took a shot at Sony for Playstation Plus. Then they follow with a segment on EA Access. LOL.

Also, they got Recore from someone who worked on Nintendo. Wow.

I am a bit surprised that they show a Dark Souls 3 clip during a MS conference.  I thought that series has been historically tied more closely to PS.  How the hell is the Division a world premiere unless you are talking about 2 years ago?

I am sure they will have something to announce later that is big, but most everything since the BC announcement has been things we expected to be coming.

Yea after some reflecting time, kinda meh for most gamers I would think if they already had a 360.

Could see where it would be wanted by a lot of people though, especially ones who got rid of 360 to get xone and kept some of the games.

Buy hey getting some free, old, outdated games for buying another game is cool I guess.

 
So the backwards compability image they tweeted has repeats. That's kinda hilarious:

You can see Fable and Perfect Dark twice. Some others as well, I'm sure, watching the stream so not looking that close.

 
Great move having an indy showcase with the actual developers talking about it.  

I'd love to see this trend continue.

Why the heck would I do that? Several things to point out:

1. There's still no confirmation we're getting that bundle, but I suppose that's something Sony could announce tonight.

2. I'm the kind of guy who plays his PS4, not stare at it.

3. I already have MGS V preordered at Best Buy for half off thanks to the preorder glitch last month.

4. I'd have to pay another $250-$300 to cover the remaining balance.

I think it is more PR. However, If someone has both platforms right now and is going to buy the Rainbow 6 game, where do you think they will buy it? I think they are doing a good job at making it sound more useful because these games are giving out the old games for free with it. In reality, how many will go from a new game back to its old one? Not many. I bet it will steer a lot of purchasing decisions though.

The perfect darks are different games, but I do see Banjo Kazooie on there 5 times, even though there's only 3 games of theirs on 360.

The same Perfect Dark is shown twice, though there are two Perfect Dark titles shown, true. Perfect Dark Zero is in the front and also 6 rows back on the left edge--look at the hair at the top of the box.

You guys notice -- "Xbox Exclusive - Holiday 15." Sure sounds like words to mask a timed exclusive.

A year from now (or whenever the next Gears of War comes out) if I pick up a XBox One I could see me opting for the MS version of some games if it comes with some older ones I haven't played but want to. But as time goes by I end up playing more and more of the older games I missed. I barely played FO3 but if I had an XBox one I could see getting FO4 on it so I could go back. But I really want to stick to one console this time around and well trophies.

B/C at this point though for me is nice but not a huge deal. I do think overall it will move consoles though. If you have nothing why not select the one that has access too all these much cheaper games? 100 or so soon with more coming. If it was there at launch it would have been a much bigger deal.

Exlusive..... Holiday 2015.... so again timed exclusive on Tomb Raider?

 
About the only thing that will play on my vita are titles that don't require use of the right stick.

So I'm sorta stuck playing Sorcery Saga (which reminds me how annoying rogue like titles are) and Rogue Legacy (which I suck at).

Hopefully my box to ship it in for service arrives quickly.

 
Rise of the Tomb Raider still looks like "Grunt Jumper". Does she really have to make a sound every time she jumps?

Conker and Blast Corps alone are worth $30. 

Backwards Compatibility makes this interesting. Both Viva Pinatas, all 3 Banjos, both Perfect Darks, Kameo, and more will be free if you already own them.
