a dash of sims with a dash of yakuza
Think Yakuza. Their not too similar but I'd like to think that Yakuza was Shenmue's spiritual successorwhat kind of game is Shenmue? what genre?
Depends. Do you like multi-player cooperative shooters, Assassin's Creed with carriage racing battles, or Just Dance?I didn't watch the UBI conference was it as bad as some of you guys are saying? EA was pretty bad I think, worse than both Sony and MS by far
i'm interested in it as well. glad it's coming to vita, cause that's where it looks like it fits. just wondering if it's going to be freemium or notthat world of final fantasy actually looks cool. im much more interested in that than ff7.it was real, right? not a joke?
But if you buy that Dreams game, you can make those dreams reality.I'm going to go eat some pizza, watch Catfish, and keep on living the dream.
^ but not those dreams
Wasn't LBP3 developed by another studio with MM functioning more as advisors on the project? They left LBP to make Tearaway, then to port it to PS4, and now this dream game which probably hasn't been in full development that long. The more I think about that Dreams game the more pissed off I get. We waited for and received a broken asLBP3 so they could have time to go make that? Maybe it is an actual game and not a virtual puppet creator like it appeared. I really hope it is more than how it came across. If not, did Media Molecule manage to kill the franchise they created as well as their own studio with something they didn't do and then something they did.
NotWell my microwave took a shit. Tyler, any suggestions since you are the appliance guru around here?
That was why I said we ended up waiting for LBP3 because MM was off making Dreams. I bet it would have been done sooner and would have actually worked if they made it. They needed to make something more obscure apparently.Wasn't LBP3 developed by another studio with MM functioning more as advisors on the project? I disagree. LBP came out in 2008. LBP2 was 2011. That's a three year gap. LBP3 was 2014, another three year gap. So at the very least, MM already showed it takes them three years to put out a new LBP game. That three year gap was with their primary focus on one game. Had they made LBP3 and Tearaway, LBP3 would most likely not be out yet. Functionality is another issue. It probably would have been just fine if they developed it. But the release pattern is pretty clear that the time frame between games would have only been longer if they worked on it.That was why I said we ended up waiting for LBP3 because MM was off making Dreams. I now see the brilliance of Mild's plan.https://twitter.com/PlayStation/status/610645999577468928
LMAOSounds like the PS E3 theater code is for a batman skin, killstrain beta, a Shadow of Colossus PS Now rental, and $5. Better than nothing.
You might want to look at the months on those release dates. Yes the calendar year was 2008 and 2011, but it was October and January of those years. It was barely over 2 years. Using your logic that would have put LBP3 coming out in April 2013 if the windows stayed the same. Since the PS4 wasnt even ready then I am confident they could have made it work and be a launch title with time to spare. Even if you want to say it would take longer due to Tearaway, I still think it would have been out sooner than it was.I disagree. LBP came out in 2008. LBP2 was 2011. That's a three year gap. I played them and they were shit. But the Vigges of the world people hear other people getting excited so they have to jump on the hype train because they don't want to be left behind.Did all these millions of people that came out of the woodwork and are suddenly blasting off in their pants for Shenmue even play either of the first two games?
I really enjoyed the first one years ago, but I don't think it's aged very well. I never got to try the sequel, though.Did all these millions of people that came out of the woodwork and are suddenly blasting off in their pants for Shenmue even play either of the first two games?
I did. It's a card that shows a picture of SFV on it, but it's just a PS+ 7-day trial. The guy is an idiot, that's all.Anyone else go to the movie theatre thing? A guy said we were getting free street fighters but I don't know if he was talking out of his ass.
...what? Why do you think that? We don't know yet what Nx is supposed to be.It's crazy to me that this is the last E3 for the WiiU as Nintendo's primary console.
he's vegan? This dude on Catfish just found out this chick has a weiner. He's not very happy.
Yep, Shemnue 1 and then imported the euro version of Shenmue 2 for DC.Did all these millions of people that came out of the woodwork and are suddenly blasting off in their pants for Shenmue even play either of the first two games?
I feel like I'm the only one who never really gave a shit about a FF7 remake. I'm convinced that the majority of people who champion the game these days haven't actually played it to completion or even at all. Its more of an anybody whos anybody gives fellatio to FF7 mentality. They google some fan art of giant swords and brooding expressions then head out to get a tat of a crying Cloud.that world of final fantasy actually looks cool. im much more interested in that than ff7.it was real, right? not a joke?

I'm actually more interested in World of Final Fantasy as well, despite it being laughed at in the theater.
lol at liking something you think might be a jokethat world of final fantasy actually looks cool. im much more interested in that than ff7.it was real, right? not a joke?
FF7 is a bit overrated but it paved the way for a lot of the epic RPGs that we have today and that's saying something. I'll gladly take the opportunity to play through the remake, even though I probably would have been more excited for a remake of the less popular FF9.I feel like I'm the only one who never really gave a shit about a FF7 remake. Destiny having a shared list does make sense from the perspective that it's cross-play between PS3 and PS4. Shared lists are not as uncommon as you'd think. A lot of the cross-buy share across all three systems. Swapper for example has one list for all three systems. Same with Hohokum, Race the Sun, Rogue Legacy, Spelunky, and Titan Attacks!. Tons more share PS4/PSV trophies. Games sharing PS3/PS4 trophies but not PSV are more rare, mostly because PS3/PS4 cross-buy isn't that common.Destiny ps3 and ps4 share the same trophy lists?! is this true? iv never seen a game that has shared ps3/ps4 trophy lists. odd
I don't really care much about FF7 either. Cloud always kinda felt like a Chrono ripoff to me, and Sephiroth is a shitty villain since he's really nothing more than a dude with mommy issues who went nutso. The world never drew me in much, either. I played right to the end of FF7 and just cared so little about it that I never got around to beating the game.I feel like I'm the only one who never really gave a shit about a FF7 remake. No, he's an acute asshole.I am an obtuse asshole.
the last guardian still looks like ico with a feather dog. I bet it'll be pretty much an ico/sotc hybrid. much like with ffvii, I think the world has moved on.I got to the conference feed late... didn't even realize that Sony showed TLG so I'll have to check that out. Missed Guerilla's new game too.
All in all a great conference and, while I'm not interested in a lot that was shown, I think a lot of what they brought to the table made sense and had some clout. Getting FF7 exclusively for any period of time is HUGE... it will move systems for sure.
