You guys have weird complaints.
Rise of the Tomb Raider still looks like "Grunt Jumper". Does she really have to make a sound every time she jumps?

It seems like RPGs and 4-6 person online shooters were 90% of the show so far. VR and mobile games have just as much interest to me as those.
seriously, there have been a lot of shooters this year. if you count all of the conferences I bet there's been 10 different ones shown?

I did like Unravel. I thought that looked like it had potential and I enjoyed the weird squirrely norwegian guy who loved what he made.

I'm waiting for EA to suddenly announce that Unravel is exclusively part of some other game's season pass.

Anyone know of any sites that have E3 stuff that isnt hosted by Youtube?  I cant get youtube at work and it seems no one hosts their own shit anymore.  fuck ing assholes.

I admit that I forgot about Unravel. Thanks for the reminder. I was not that crazy about the main character's appearance, but the gameplay looked fun.

Its Taco Tuesday!  I am going for lunch and dinner.  No family this time, so I really hope that hot blonde is there again tonight.  Not that I will do anything other than stare her down though.

Sucker Punch has to be in a development cycle after First Light and Second Son. I would have been shocked if anything came from them now and if it did it would probably be so far out at this point who would care.

I would have settled for just a Red Dead 2 announcement. There is no way a huge title from Rockstar will ever be exclusive again, but it would be nice to have more 3rd person action games that we didn't already know were coming.

As it stands, here is my list of newly announced things I am interested in: South Park and Horizon

You do know that Rockstar owes Sony an exclusive project from way back when , when Sony paid for it and Rockstar never delivered. It is why there are always rumors a new Rockstar title may get the exclusive treatment fro Sony.

Also looking for this. My work just recently put the kibosh on Youtube. CAG is technically blocked, too. But I figured out how to get it to work

Even if that is the case, to think it would possibly be one of their established franchises is absolutely nuts. Even a new Bully being exclusive would be unlikely. Read Dead 2 is never ever going to be an exclusive.

I know everyone is calling Sony a fail due to nothing coming out this Fall, but honestly I am fine with it.  I mean was Halo 5 going to sell Xbox's no matter what?  Yes.  Not to mention some of the other 3rd party titles that will take up a bunch of time.  I think it was smart for Sony to get their hands in the bigger third party games that have been known to sell some consoles and not force any games for this Fall.

I mean next year is slated already for Sony, and with the "dead" period being dominated by pushed back Sony games they should see a spike when they normally wouldn't.

People may well buy COD on PS4 this time around, Fall Out 4 is coming out, Assassin's Creed has stuff exclusive for PS4, so besides Tomb Raider and Halo, things may be closer than we think this holiday.  Not to mention I think Tomb Raider may not do as well as MS thinks it will, especially with Fall Out coming out the same day.  By the time people are ready for something new and to actually play Tomb Raider, it will be out on PS4.

Well isnt this fucking great!  Reading the blog today and they describe Horizon as an Action RPG.  So all the fun of killing mech animals will be counter-balanced with the boring aspects of upgrading your character.  Just what I always wanted.

Looking at the Witcher Sales totals... you'll be in the minority

Sony focused on new announcements and showing more of stuff that is further out to focus on the future of the system. Not a bad choice, IMO. It's not like they're going to have a hidden AAA project that comes out next month, so expecting them to spend a lot of time on stuff that's already had plenty of lead-in seems silly.

Is there any word on how long Tomb Raider is exclusive to Xbox? I would think many months. If I was interested in both FO4 and TR and was on XBox One I would probably play TR first. Trade it away and then settle in to FO4 for however many weeks that will take to play through.

I still have a big back log. We have Batman and more Ass Creed that have the BB $10 deals and who knows what other titles they may add before year end.   GoW remastered and Uncharted remastered.  Lastly, we have more plus games to look forward to so I am okay with no new big titles this fall from Sony.

Destiny having a shared list does make sense from the perspective that it's cross-play between PS3 and PS4. Shared lists are not as uncommon as you'd think. A lot of the cross-buy share across all three systems. Swapper for example has one list for all three systems. Same with Hohokum, Race the Sun, Rogue Legacy, Spelunky, and Titan Attacks!. Tons more share PS4/PSV trophies. Games sharing PS3/PS4 trophies but not PSV are more rare, mostly because PS3/PS4 cross-buy isn't that common.

I don't really care much about FF7 either. Cloud always kinda felt like a Chrono ripoff to me, and Sephiroth is a shitty villain since he's really nothing more than a dude with mommy issues who went nutso. The world never drew me in much, either. I played right to the end of FF7 and just cared so little about it that I never got around to beating the game.

Honestly I'd rather see them release a port of FFXII.
yeah but Destiny isn't crossbuy. I think all of those shared vita/ps4 lists make sense cuz they are crossbuy. I had to buy 2 copies of Destiny so I was hoping it would have a whole new list, but I guess that saves time.

It has certainly sold well, but I doubt it would ever get close to the numbers of the Tomb Raider reboot or something like GTA 5 where it is an action game without RPG elements (unless you want to count the weapons in TR which I think would be a stretch).

Destiny was digitally cross-buy on release, actually. First 3-4 months, I think? It was a shitty setup, though--only cross-buy if you bought the PS3 version. PS4 version didn't get you anything extra. I think CoD: AW did the same? One other game did, anyway.

the fact that MS keeps saying .... EXCLUSIVE......holiday 2015

Makes me think we may see Tomb Raider on PS4 first quarter could be possible

only cross buy if you bought the digital ps3 version. i bought physical ps3 disc and i didn't get ps4 version free...

and same with cod aw, i had to buy both ps3 and ps4 versions. only cross buy if you went digital i guess.

it is too early i missed the 3rd word in your paragraph. digitally. you guys sure are chatty this early. im going back to bed.

Yeah you had to buy the PS3 version in the PSN store. I traded my physical PS4 copy and bought PSN credit and then picked up the PS3 Digital Guardian edition (included the first two DLCs). I thought my nephew would play Destiny on PS3 with me but he never picked it up and now has a PS4 anyway.

This is what I thought as well, but do they really want to release it on PS4 right around the release of Uncharted 4? We all want to point out it being the same time as FO4 for Xbone, so it is only fair to point that out too. It is worse with it being released with Uncharted since they are the same game with a different gender lead character.

Woah, I didn't even see the PS vue announcement. So they're doing a la carte cable channels with discounts for PS+? I would actually do that. All we really watch is fx, hgtv and broadcast.

I think Uncharted is later then we think, I could see Uncharted coming late Quarter 1, May/June. If Tomb Raider came January it would be fine and still do well.

Yeah if TR comes out right around the same time as UC4 I could see waiting months to play TR. I would want to play some other games in between UC4 and TR. Like said way too similar in game type/play to play back to back. I could see waiting for a price drop or two if that were to happen.

I did mean to say cross-save, not cross-play. At one point I read a Bungie release saying that saves go either way, not just one-way, though. I can't find it, but this article implies so:

https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12219

I've also seen a number of non-Bungie posts to support this. Have you tested it to be sure it's one-way, or seen something definitive that says so?
It works both ways. When I played I would play on PS3 with one of my friends then switch over to PS4 when my other friends got on.

And now the more I think about it, Tomb Raider very well could be January which explains why MS is being so cryptic with it.  I mean if it was a year exclusive MS would let people know because that would be a longer time and they could get people to buy it now.  The fact they won't say anything makes me believe it may not be long after launch that it will be available thus possibly stopping people from buying it and rather play FO4 and wait for PS4... it kinda makes sense

Who are you guys kidding, your going to wait to play most of these games anyway!

Free on plus or bust!

I don't want to. The lack of games I am interested in playing is so bad that I am cancelling my Gamefly subscription after having it for almost 2 years. With the lack of things in my wheelhouse being announced to go along with that, I may actually finally burn through most of my backlog.

I guess I could keep it and have my rental history repeat itself with all the remasters.
