I figure that is one of the reasons they made Bloodborne an exclusive, so they could get help getting up to speed developing for next gen from their exclusive console partner, and then use that knowledge to develop multi-platform games.

I have had a good time playing it, but it has seemed to have more bugs than I can recall in any of the Lego games I have played so far.

1) Do not set the safe viewable area as large as it should be unless you want to get QTEs that are off the screen.

2) A character got hung in a spot where they couldn't move because they were in between a wall and a dinosaur. In general the characters get scared if you get too close. Problem was the character was too close with a wall behind them and became stuck.

Both of those made me have to restart the level from the beginning to get around. The game when it works has been pretty fun.

Okay cool. This'll be the first lego game i've played in a while. I started part of lego marvel, but never got around to finishing. When I figured out it was the whole series and not just jurassic world I figured this would be a good place to hop back in.

Also: apparently theres a midnight opening for batman. kinda cool, are there any day 1 patches that we know of? If so I'll just download and start the game after work, if not I look forward to forgetting to sleep before work.

 
I'm getting it from that BB glitch. I'm assuming I'll get the $10 GC too?

I don't remember if it's shipping to me or if I just need to go pick it up. Might not be able to go grab it til Wednesday.

EDIT: I'm picking it up, but at a different BB than I thought. I'll probably grab it Tuesday at lunch.

I should have grabbed Battlefront during that glitch too, just to try it out with whoever else gets it the first week (assuming it actually works the first week).

What, no one else is looking forward to Mario Maker?? The levels shown during the Nintendo World Championship were epic.

Microsoft had good stuff too. Rare Collection, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Cuphead. The indy showcase alone could be better than the stuff from EA (although Unravel looks good) and Ubisoft.

BTW, I'm looking forward to more info. on No Man's Sky. The game might be good, but I'm sure this is just a tease in the same way Sony teased Uncharted 4 for the past few years and The Last Guardian (which will look even better than what we saw).

I posted a link to the article this one quotes ten days ago. I'm not sure why they bother just regurgitating the same crap. They didn't add anything with the new article. They should have at least done a bit of research so they could relay what the effective difference changing the antenna causes, or something informative like that.

 
Someone from an AP/FPO bought my Ness amiibo, Amazon is giving me a hell of a time shipping it out. They won't let me buy shipping or anything. I guess if I take it to a post office they'll be able to send it out?

And of course Amazon doesn't have seller chat support anymore.

Yeah that is why I said screw it just ship me the damn thing. Plus I had 4 BB GCs in my wallet taking up space. Just ordered it online for delivery. If it doesn't show up till later in the week I will just play the new episode of Tales from the Borderlands which comes out Tuesday too. Still midnight for those of us on the East Coast.

Yeah, with Korra and Transformers, them doing an anime-based game wouldn't be far-fetched.

Watching Korra now, actually. 2 episodes left in s1, will knock those out tonight. It's surprisingly a lot more adult than the previous series. That makes sense since Aang was 12-14 while Korra is 18-21 over their respective series, but I wasn't really expecting the difference it would make in the feel and focus of how the show plays out.

Having watched some of Korra, I'm now more disappointed in how little the game uses the material from the show. Fun game, to be sure (except for the running and pro-bending sections), but not representative of the show's content at all, I think.

It's $10 in reward points, but assuming your GCU membership was tied to your Bestbuy.com account, then yes, you'll get it.
