Yeah, no one should ever make a game that requires players to 100% to "truly finish" it. Most gamers never get anywhere near 100% and you should want to market your games to the masses. We know Batman will sell regardless but still.

Also, I havent read the reviews yet but I assume there will be 5000 collectables again so 100% in this time is just a PITA AND huge time waster. For me anyway. I like to get in, see the story and get out of Batman.

EDIT: Vig'd but as suspected. Retarded Rocksteady. Might as well asked for more DLC money before the credits!
There aren't any Riddler trophies in this one (there are Challenges instead), so that cuts down on the collectibles somewhat. I'm not even sure what's there in terms of collectibles--this might be more of an event-completion 100% than a collectible-gathering 100%.

Any awareness of this? Before seeing it mentioned in the e3 summary I'd never heard of it:

It's very bloody and looks pretty unique for a 2.5d, but I'm not seeing much here to make me want to actually play it. What do you guys think?

It looks interesting but kind of rough in terms of gameplay and animation. It also looks like a prime candidate for Plus.

I don't know. I posted that question in the Gamestop Trade-In thread just now; hopefully someone will answer it soon.

Yes, in-store only.
So the PUR extra 10% is only going to be on the base price or something? I was going to get it because I'm trading in $60 worth of stuff so it would have only been an extra $9, but I'm guessing it's not going to work like that.

BTW, it looks like there might be spoilers in IGN's Arkham Knight review. Thankfully I only skipped to the bottom to get the summary, but those of you who care about the story might want to skip reading that one.

You guys act like no game has ever had an alternate ending if you complete the game 100%.
Whose you guys?! Its just me asshole! Call me out directly! Dont be a pussy!

Anyway, it sounds like it isnt really an alternate ending. The credits dont even roll when you dont 100% it? Thats just strange.

Right. If you trade in a game that has a $9 base value but a boosted $15 TIV, you'd get $15.90 with PUR.

Arkham knight does have riddler collectibles, it was in the demo showed this last week when they went into the police station, the demo-er uncovered a riddler trophy.

The developers did say there is less riddler challenges/trophies than in the other ones, they are just tougher.  But with a video guide they shouldn't be bad.  IGN said roughly 12 hours from the story, 12 hours for the side missions, so actually not that bad.

And 2 years for the combat and predator challenges

Here's another I'd never heard of, and it wasn't on that blog summary. This looks pretty amazing in terms of environment. Wish they'd shown some gameplay, but the music and look of the game is quite enticing:

Absolutely no idea what this game is about, but I really want to see more. I can't find a damn thing about it, though, in part because every search of "cathedral ps4" gives a ton of Bloodborne results.

That's unsurprising considering that two areas in Bloodborne are the Cathedral Ward and Upper Cathedral Ward.

Damn, only a 91 for AK so far on metacritic. That's the bottom of the Vig scale, so I probably won't even play it if it were free at this point.
Um, if you preorder it from BB and then trade it in within a month or so and price match it when it goes on sale you will get it for free. Even better you will probably MAKE BB credit. Which is real money you can spend anywhere!

HAHA, Gamespot just wanted the press, I mean Batman doesn't have score below an 80 except for Gamespot's random 70!  You have to question a reviewer and their connection to the game when all the other scores are so much higher.

Interestingly enough, the same reviewer gave Witcher 3 a perfect score.

They probably didn't like the fake ending. Wasn't epic enough.

Yes. Yes it does.
So are you trying to tell us....
