I found the first fireman by just driving around and hearing some random penguin thugs talking about beating him up. No real complaints about the batmobile controls yet, but I haven't done any of the driving challenges yet. I kept gliding off and leaving the batmobile behind lol. The tank mode is pretty cool.

Hopefully my leaderboard will be working tonight, couldn't figure out what was up with it last night. Tried quitting out of the game a couple times to see if that would help but no luck.

The leaderboards only worked for me during the Riddler challenge race. There were other leaderboards for stuff that wasnt working though.

I like how they're expecting this raging global hard-on for driveclub - like millions of people are going to quit their jobs and run home to download and challenge their friends to drift off the second it uploads to the store thus obliterating all of their servers and stability updates. I expect most people will download it, open it up, play a few races, be all 'oh it's just a normal racing game' and then go back to batman for the next 3 or 4 weeks.

 
This is the strangest way to describe a difficulty.  According to the official guide:

"Knightmare mode is the exact opposite of Easy. Instead of enemy sturdiness, damage dealing, reactions, accuracy, and speed begin set as low as possible, these parameters are all set as high as possible, all the time."

Nevermind, it isnt strange.  Its dumb.

in case anyone didn't pick up on this (I didn't) the best buy preorder code unlocks three of the upgrades in the batman skill tree for free including the useless-but-probably-entertaining 'throw batarangs while gliding' ability.

that's so obnoxious. hard mode without the little counter animations was enough for me in asylum - not so frustrating but tough enough to take me several tries on some sections (YES VIG, SEVERAL TRIES. SCREW OFF). Insane over the top difficulties are dumb. Your wright write!

Not only that you CAN'T just start playing online. They aren't going to allow everyone on at once. A controlled roll out for the online aspect.

I am going to add it to my cart but not even bother downloading it at this point.

I bet they purposely picked 2 days AFTER Batman dropped so there would be less people downloading and playing Drive Club initially. Really doesn't seem like they are too confident they have this figured out.

Glad someone else said this. Once I get the three star for score/combo challenges I usually just stop playing it and lose or let the time run out. Races I do once and get the required time and never come back. Who the fuck cares about your leaderboard score? In a weekdays no one here is still going to be playing this game

Does anyone even know what they've ripped out of the game for the ps+ edition? I wonder if the full game save will even work with the ps+ version. At this point I have like 4 or 5 dlc packs 'purchased' and a minor amount of progress through the main races, I'd be pretty annoyed if they locked any of that shit out.

Month tops for me. I want the $40 trade in value. Probably a lot sooner though really.

I would not even assume the save would work from full retail to Plus edition. If you do, you are giving them a lot more credit than I do.

the context was that they were leveled at me by name for some reason who, as we all know, sucks at video games and was actually rooting for your success. but good job on the sarcasm anyways?

Just picked up one of the more rare trophies for BAK,  first on true trophies, 4th on PSN Profiles.  Probably won't be rare for long though, wasn't that hard.

How do you pounce on cars Mild?  Was trying to do that and the moment I glided towards them they would turn around and drive off.

Been mostly focusing on the main story, but when I come across side missions I do them.  Also I went as far as I could with Riddler, I had to unlock a new island to get the batmobile in order to proceed.  

The story is really getting at me because of..... HUGE SPOILER BELOW

Having Joker as a sidekick, comic relief, in your head conscious is unbelievable.  Hamill coming back just to do that and with so much interaction.  It is amazing!  I love his little comments, and it is probably the most we have seen him in a game since he follows you around!  Much better than him actually being alive!

I don't have to compensate.

But, I have also accepted that most if not all the regulars here are better then me at video games. They play a ton more then I do. They are younger then me (well not Chewy). I do think I sit too far back from the TV most of the time but even so. I also don't have the patience most do here have. I get annoyed and say fuck it and move on to something else. I fully expect any high score or fastest time I put up they will take down if they play the game.

The shit is supposed to be fun.

hang out on a lamp post or something in an intersection/roundabout where cars seem to be driving through a lot. When one is coming in to the intersection just glide above it (have to be fairly close) and mash box. you can also just stand in the middle of the street and some of the cars will try to ram you - if you hit the counter button it'll crash the car and that counts.

That's ok Jimbo, I'm pretty much the same. I was called a "Bronze Hoarder" by a few guys that I used to play mp with because I only had 30 or so Platinums and not the 100-150 the rest of them had.

I am pretty jealous of your 5000 bronzes versus my wang shrinking 3400.

As I was going through my big dumb spreadsheet of backlog the other day I decided that it was time to give up on trying to be a wannabe completionist, at least on the ps3 stuff. I'll probably try to snag anything that doesn't take much effort to veer off and get, but yeah. Time to be done with that silliness or suddenly I'll be 50 and still poking at Bioshock 2 mp or something. I've always had a problem with stuff like this in my life. castle of illusion was my first habit breaker - it probably wouldn't take much to get the collectibles but I'm just going to be done with it instead.
