I'm assuming flaca has a larger role eventually? I'm about 5 episodes into season 2, and she's nothing more than a background character, so I've never paid much attention to her. She's pretty decent though

I'll join in on the Bayo action next month too, now that I have it. With everyone playing it I won't feel left out of all the game talk like batman and other big ps4 games you guys are always playing at the same time :(

I'll be the one left out this time since I beat Bayonetta on 360 years ago. :-({|=

It sucks working down here now when summerfest is going on. Just drunks everywhere when I'm sober, and ridiculous amounts of traffic and douche bags. At least I'll be able to catch the big bang fireworks from where I'm at.

Do you guys know how much gas is used when idling in your car?  I did a quick google and see quotes of .15 gallons an hour and a whole gallon an hour.  Which one sounds more plausible?

I ask cause I want to go play Vita in the car and since its hotter than a whore house in Texas I would have to run the AC.

Stupid work where I cant play Vita in the office.  I should go work at Bugles.

Even if it is a full gallon (which I doubt) that's what, $3.50? Is it worth $3.50 to go sit in your car and play Vita for an hour?

I was thinking more long term because I cant get away with an entire hour a day, but I was thinking 30 minutes or so a few times a week. Yeah I know it isnt much per week, but over a year it can add up.

Tyler, you have to remember I have a kid and am about to have an ex wife I gotta feed...I dont have the disposable income you have. Even if I make triple your salary...which is a lie, I probably make quadruple. Jokes...

You can't lock the office door? Or go to the employee cafeteria?

I make peanuts compared to some of you guys but it's my fault for choosing to stay with a government job.

But haha you're gonna be poor Wren.

From the trailers Godzilla looks like it could be pretty fun, I just wish they hadn't done so many duplicates of things, like 3 Mechagodzilla's and added some of the lesser known opponents.

I sometimes run my car to play my Vita in AC. I think it's closer to 0.2 gallons per hour. Try to park in the shade if possible. That's what I do as well. Not that the car will over heat but it helps with seeing the Vita.  If there's no shade invest in a sun visor for the windshield...looks shady but then you can see.

Ugh this article pisses me off in so so many ways:

http://kotaku.com/new-destiny-quest-is-exclusive-to-red-bull-1713588960

Fourth, I am fucking sick of people piling on Destiny for their "greediness". It's been pretty easy to judge the content to dollar ratio of the game since the initial release and first DLC. If that ratio isn't satisfactory to you, then don't fucking pay for it and move on with your life. There are obviously plenty of people who are really hooked on the game and are willing to pay that much for it. Does the game have in game transactions? I dont think it does, which is different than a lot of MMOs, so the creators are having to get their money for the content all up front.

Fifth and finally, sometimes it can be cool when publishers team up with food producers and do things like this. Weren't mountain dew and doritos selling like crazy when they were worth double XP in COD, I'm pretty sure people were trading for Double XP codes. It was probably foolish to reveal this promo so long before The Taken King content comes out because it makes people feel like it was a quest taken out of the DLC, but it's still kind of a fun idea in theory. They should have just waited and announced it a month after The Taken King release to get all the Destiny players excited about a new mission.

/rant
I really agree with the last two points. I spent around $90 net on Destiny. I played for months and put in hundred of hours. I will probably pick it back up and play the last DLC I am entitled to at some point. I felt it was worth it to me. I could have waited 6 months and got the game and DLC cheaper. But I didn't. I wanted to play it at release. I am not super interested in the game now so paying $40 for the new DLC isn't worth it to me. Perhaps if it goes on sale for $20 at some point I might grab it.

I was big into COD for a while. Not great at it but decent and had fun. I bought bags of Doritos for the Double XP codes. I liked Doritos and was buying them from time to time anyway and still buy them again from time to time. I used to drink way too much MT Dew. But stopped long before that promo so I didn't buy them. A few times the code was already redeemed. Some assholes were going to the stores and taking pictures of the codes on the outside of the bags or writing them down. Not sure what genius thought putting the codes on the outside was a good idea.

Don't think something is a good deal? Don't buy it. It ain't that hard.

Yeah, but pension and job security.
I actually don't get a pension. Anyone in a manager or overtime-exempt position doesn't get a pension. I think pensions weren't very useful in attracting talented employees to higher positions, because the only way a pension pays off is if you stay for a long time, and a lot of younger people actually like to move from job to job every few years.

Because I'm a pretty content person and from Salt Lake, I wouldn't mind getting a pension. But my retirement plan is pretty good too and everything is immediately 100% vested.

I'm not sure what the # symbol means. I'm guessing one is slim and the other fat, but that doesn't explain the #1 3DS since that doesn't seem to be the New 3DS and the old one shouldn't still be selling that well.

Are you eligible for the Thrift Savings Plan? That thing is the stuff of legends to us private sector folks.

# means it's taking into account all the different models of that console. So 3DS = 3DS, 3DS XL, New 3DS, etc.

For Vita it is Vita 1.0, Vita 2.0, and Vita TV

looks like the # symbol is all the model's numbers added together. add pstv and psv, and you get the psv# total. so 3ds would be all 370 models added together.

Remastered, I'm assuming? I noticed you have the PS3 version in your trophy list but never beat the game, so wasn't sure.
nope ps3 version probly. i guess remastered gow3 if the library/gamefly gets it to me if im feeling it. i can't pull a gator and play the same game back to back. it would drive me crazy

can't play the same game back to back, huh? says the guy who plays nonstop cod mp. isn't that always the same?

Or take a work dump

I used to sit in my car and play until I discovered McDonalds. Free air conditioning/wifi and it's relatively quiet.
Avenged,

No office door to lock. Most large corporations dont have many employees with real offices anymore. Even at my level. VP. I wont go to the cafeteria to play as I dont want to play during lunch when I can play on company time. And I cant do that on company time where staff and other managers can see me.

Zimm,

The toilets here are pretty gross and I dont want people to see me disappear into the bathroom for a long period of time.

jkam,

We have a garage and I always park under the second level so I dont have to worry about sun. If I parked on the roof I wouldnt even want to leave the office it would be so goddamn hot in the car. And I have real dark tint all the way around. Still would be hot as balls. I am mostly worried about wear and tear on the car and wasting gas.

Mild,

McDs or any other place with free wifi away from here is a few minutes drive so it wouldnt save me much. Besides, I dont want to be THAT guy at the McDs playing Vita (is that some weird phone?) with no pants on.

any of you guys have transformers war for cybertron? iv been playing mp legit and im getting tired of it. If we get 4 of us to play conquest (it's like dom) we can just cap and recap the same dom points and boost some 5x xp real quick to knock out the mp leveling up trophies. anyone down for boosting a 5 y/o game with me while others are playing batman? ;)

We get a pension and 401K match up to 5%. Used to get options too...a long time ago...a shame a lot went un exercised though as bank stocks are killing it now and have been for a while.

I wish we got a small match here but we don't, it would encourage me to do some personal saving out of my check. Pension people just get pension and exempt people get X% of their salary invested at either TIAACREF or Fidelity.
