Anybody curious about the PC version problems should watch this:

11:40 is where the gameplay video starts. Before that he was exploring the options menu and showing all the missing stuff, going into some background for the problems.

TB's PC costs $4000. He has two video cards that cost $600+ and he's still having performance issues. The PC version is missing different special effects with lighting, water, etc., that are all in the PS4 version.

So is batmobile long? I did the AR challenges I had and played the story for another 2.5 hours and my completion is 7%. I just

ok well I actually just saw

our incinerated friend

and had to stop there to do some work.  It feels like it just took a really long time to get through that section - +3% progress was a bit of a surprise.

should be real quick. it is auto 5x xp now plus if we get 4 of us (bums and I already down) then we can just play conquest (domination) and jump on and off the cap point. We could do it for 30 mins and see how quick it is gonna take if you are down. it just takes forever playing it legit cuz everyone runs around and is max leveled. im at level 80 out of 100 legit so far and hasn't taken that long.

I never paid attention but my best trophy streak was 55 days and ended yesterday cuz i spent the day playing dota 2 and mowing lawns. damn you steam!

also glad i didn't get disney infinity last week cuz just picked up di 1.0 for ps3 for $20, and 2.0 for $25 from awd. still a few left if anyone cares. also grabbed a cheap elza for my daughter and jack skellington for my son. really.

I don't care, we can give it a go and see what it's gonna be like. You gotta remember though, my schedule is pretty fucked when it comes to gaming. I'm probably not going to be able to do much with it on weekday evenings... any gaming I'm doing at that time is usually with my son.

Is the 5x temporary or permanent?

EDIT: never mind, google is my friend... seen the 5x is permanent.  Saw someone post that it took them around 10 hours to do it.  It's not as much of an investment as before, but I'm not even interested in putting that amount of time into it.  Seeing as you're so close to being done with it, you're probably better off getting some from the boosting thread.  I didn't play much of the mp so I'm still a really low level and I doubt you want to stick around for us to get the whole thing done.

I think that is what I find lacking in the game. I am doing all these mini story missions. As I finish them other unrelated side missions pop up. Really does seems quite a bit like GTA Batman. I am enjoying it but I almost don't even know the story is to this point. Yeah they are all about solve this crime, arrest this guy this just seems in between. It isn't much like AA and it isn't exactly GTA. I spent last 10 mins this morning chasing down a car which seemed fairly pointless. I guess I get some XP though.

Having fun with it and all but just seems a bit disjointed. The combat is fine / fun and I think some of (or at least one) of the gadgets works better.

Driveclub PS+ has arrived again. You get 1 location with 13 tracks and 15 cars. DLC is purportedly not compatible but I haven't seen confirmation. This whole thing is kind of silly really.

Roof repair is more exciting than this cluster fuck of a game. I dont know why some of you guys keep talking about it. I keep forgetting it ever existed and you assholes keep bringing it back up.

Shadow Warrior was doing something weird and pushing up a ton of cloud saves. Almost every morning I would get failed cloud sync saves and would have to manage my saves and delete like 8 Shadow Warrior cloud saves. After that I played AC Unity and now Batman and haven't run into that problem again. I wonder if some games just screw up badly with cloud saves?

And yeah 1GB is ridiculously small they need to bump that up for PS+ members at least.

Holy shit, having oracle kill herself was crazy. After first I was like nah batman is hallucinating and something to do with the joker fucking with him, but I guess she is really dead? Story is just getting better as it goes.

Um yeah and they still cant get it to even run. Its like they are trying to invent the internet. Except its already been invented and everyone else already knows how to program a video game for it.

 
I don't stay up late every night, but when I do I try to check out early the night before and store up the sleep reserves.  (I know it doesn't really work like that, but it's an old Jedi mind trick from the college days.)  Tonight is Destiny Fireteam night, so I'll probably be up until around 2a, and then it's up at 6a for work.

And just a heads up, 10 weeks to the start of college football season.

It actually says demo for me under content type when I buy that Driveclub PS Plus edition. Could they have fucked this up anymore? They delayed like 8 months to just release one track?

This is apparently the month of companies fucking shit up for themselves.

- Driveclub
- Batman PC being removed
- Destiny pricing issues, and then Luke Smith coming out and basically saying fuck you to all players. And then Bungie "apologizing" by agreeing to charge people $20...the cost of an entire fucking expansion...for 9 in game, cosmetic items.
 
Finally got around to beating Uncharted 2.... wasn't that impressed.  I know the game is old as dirt, and I was trying to take that into account, but I'm starting to think that maybe I just don't like the series as much as everyone else. 

The train scene was WAY overhyped for me.  Everyone always mentioned that level when they talked about the game... I didn't see the big deal.  I guess this is why you don't wait 6 years to play a game.

Yeah Top that game was super impressive a long time ago. I can see why you wouldnt be as impressed now though. But you arent going to get me any less excited about the remastered trilogy.

When I saw the $20 price tag for those items I really thought it was April Fools Day.

I got to the same point as Mild in Batman last night, I agree with comments that Gotham feels both bigger and emptier at the same time.
