I could be wrong, but isn't $14 < $28?
If you get it for slightly less than $28 with the b-day coupon and PUR discount, you could at least sell it later. $14 is a bit harder to swallow for a digital copy that you'll have forever considering the ability to get a physical copy for not much more.

I can't remember who around here are entourage fans?  Been binge watching and I am just getting into season 7.  Loved it but some of the changes and the new story lines in 7 are kinda annoying.

Vince's new found dare devil/ mid life crisis thing is annoying right now, almost to the point of me stopping.  Now I get why the series ended...

ha, monster monpiece for $4
Happy Birthday to me

From the other thread

PS4 https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEPS4GAM

PS3 https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEPS3GAM

Vita https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEPSVGAM

Unless some of it will be really cheap my wallet is mostly safe, VC2 and maybe some bonk and adventure island, plus if there are some thread recommendations as I know almost nothing about most of those vita titles.
Grabbed Game of Thrones Season pass for $12.50 for PS4.

Why would you sell tales of hearts r? That game rules. Plus I'd rather support Namco for localizing it than help fill Gamestop's coffers.

I ignored it cause my bday coupon expired, and I don't just have 20 of them laying around like Vig. All I care about is a fun rpg to play right now on my vita, and $14 is the cheapest to get it.
FYI, you could walk into a Gamestop, tell the employee the code EBC3048058 (or write it down on a piece of paper and give them that), and enjoy the 20% discount. That's the last reusable one and it expires 6/30.

The birthday coupon is universal. It's the same code no matter who uses it, and there's a thread here on GS with a scan of the code. At the end of this month the universal code dies, though, and they switch over to being single-use per account (I think.) Vig has posted about it a number of times.

I bought it at launch and I like what I've played so far. I'm not going to play it again after I get the plat, though, so why keep it at that point?

Granted when I resell it'll probably be to somebody on eBay, but that's more because GS has terrible TIV most of the time.

Anyone play Myst?  How does it hold up considering it is a PSP game?  I assume I can download it straight to my Vita?

I always want to play the PC version of the game back in the day but never did.  It is only $2.40 might grab it anyway.

At least, I'll try PMing this--Walmart has a separate listing without the "Limited Edition" banner priced closer to ~$40, so hopefully my Best Buy store has at least one LE copy left.

I've been doing an excellent job of avoiding batman spoilers on the internet and then my dickhole coworker just blurts out the

man-bat

thing.  curse you human beings!

Grabbed Monpiece and the Game of Thrones season pass. Need to look more closely at Ziggurat but I might add that as well.

Already have anything else I'd be interested in but Little Kings, Mind Zero, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and Hand of Fate are all great buys.

I just noticed they put that on the wrong page. It's listed under the PS3 page instead of the PSV page. It does say "Vita" so you should be fine playing it there.

You are aware that the game is a puzzle/slideshow thing, right? There's a newer version on PC that gives you free roam and a 3d environment, but the original and most of the ports/remakes have you stepping from one fixed location to another.

Those Hyperdimension ReBirth games have and will be ported to PC so I'm more tempted to grab them on Steam or from a seller when they drop 75% or more.

It is not exactly a short game. Even with the lack of online, it is still probably 20-25 hours at least. I really enjoyed it.
Yeah I liked Rogue a lot too. It has been this TIV if I remember correctly for weeks. My nephew had my copy for months and finally got it back to me last week. Got $18.80 for it with the their weekend promo but was tracking it for a while. Maybe still get a decent amount for it in a week.

might and magic duel of champions is free on steam but i love my trophies and for $3.50...

contemplating hand of fate, monster monpiece and ziggurat also...

Trophy guide indicates 25-50 hours for the plat. I think it was around 40 for me, mainly due to collectibles and not being that efficient with the game since it was the first one I tried to complete.

So the Star Ocean 5 devs have said they're not doing any DLC or expansion stuff for it:

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/25/star-ocean-5-wont-have-dlc-expansions

"I think Tri-Ace’s sort of attitude...is that we want to make something very unique and new," he said. "The way we look at it is if we make a kind of OK game and reinforce it with an expansion pack, that does not really satisfy [consumers]. So we’d like to invest all we have into the game and make it as good as it gets.”

Mr. Kobayashi added, "[Fans] are looking for a complete package. If you make additional scenarios and packs, Japanese consumers would come back and say ‘if this content is available, why didn’t you put it in the main game anyway?’”
Pretty novel concept there.

Yea well the identify of arkham knight was spoiled for me by reading wikipedia.

Was prompted by the game to look up a certain person who I thought was part of certain contest like thing in the comics and right there near the top was the spoiler for the character page on wikipedia.

Im not a huge batman buff so I didnt realize who the arkham knight was and not sure there were that many clues until I got to the part where they talked about the character I looked up, even then didnt put two and two together to make 5 until I read the wiki article.

Spoilerd as even though Im trying to be cryptic, people might know exactly what im talking about and get mad.

Thanks for the info. Not sure why I want to play this. Probably more nostalgia then anything else. I had the 3DS version in my hand a few times but it was too expensive. A friend of mine had it on the PC when it was first out and I remember it being like 10 CDs or something and he loved it.

They were just 70% off and $8.99 for each of the first two in the summer sale that ended five days ago. $11.99 each right now, though.

GoT is tempting, they are still working on it though right?

I like to wait until they are done before I buy, dont like waiting months to finish up the story, rather just be able to play through it all at once.

I'm thinking:

  • Pocket RPG
  • Rack 'n Ruin
  • Warriors of the Lost Empire
I was curious about Fate/Extra but the discount is pretty shallow and the gameplay looks odd. Anybody play Pocket RPG or WotLE and have an opinion of them at $5.25 and $1.20?

That is the one thing that kind of tempts me as well. However, every Telltale game seems to end up $5 at some point, so I think I will wait. It will likely also get physical releases like the others did eventually too.
