So real reason I haven't been drinking since June 1st was because at my physical last month my liver function numbers (ALT and AST) were about triple where they should be (which is bullshit because I really don't drink THAT much, especially compared to some of you bastards). Had no symptoms at all so the high numbers caught both my doc and me off guard.

Anyways got my new results just now and my one number is within normal range now and the other one is only about 9 points away from being within range and no further tests are necessary. Woohoo! Time to get blitzed tonight!

DG was on sale 2 months back for $12. Ys hasn't had any major sales AFAIK, but is only $18 at GS. After bday and 10% that's $12.59. Not too bad and recent sales on eBay have been at $14+, so you should at least break even.

Oh, I'm glad I looked up ToeJam & Earl 2, I didn't realize they changed the format into a 2D platformer, that looks much more enjoyable.

I remember that commercial now that I see it, it's probably why I was so confused when I looked up reviews for ToeJam & Earl 1 last time it was on sale and it was at a top down perspective.

if you don't care about the plat, you could probably have a decent amount of fun with it. honestly, i'd recommend trying one of the other card games in the sale if you have the itch to play cards. i started skipping the story by the third area, and i don't think i would have enjoyed the grind that would have been needed had i not played a bunch of mp beforehand. mp gives you way more gold and cards than the campaign does. i had the itch for a card game though, and nothing else was really available at the time. i'm also weird

 
All I'm going to say is to turn on the Phillies-Nats game because a certain someone's mowing the Phillies down through 5 innings.

The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone were both awesome. Also had a great happy hour high up on the Jackson Hole mountain for my birthday. Free gondola ride, great view and reasonably priced drinks and appetizers? Win.
 
My Best Buy had one last copy of AC: Rogue with the "Limited Edition" banner and I was able to PM the $9.99 Walmart.com price. That's another AC game to throw on the pile.

The main advantage to picking these up at release and playing them right away is that you don't end up with a pile of iterations of basically the same 20 hour game. If I had to look at that every day I would have to take them all to gamestop to make them disappear and then watch the 'story' on youtube.

It's pretty rough... it was an amazing game 20 years ago though, if that tells you anything.

The game really isn't geared for a small screen; you're better off playing it on steam if you're really interested in it. One of my favorites though.

And yes, you can download it from your vita.

I played it on Vita and the game wasn't that great. The controls never really clicked for me at all and the whole idea of managing a single character while also controlling the ballista and such just felt really awkward. If you end up getting it for PS4, post how you liked it as I've wondered a while if the different control scheme would help much.

Having said that, $5.25 probably isn't a bad price for the game if the trophies thing doesn't bother you too much.
