I'm at 9 for #JJ right now. I'm hoping to knock out Mirror's Edge and Castle of Illusion tonight/tomorrow, then maybe PoP: Warrior Within by the end of the month. I doubt I'll finish WW that quickly, though.

Well I'm an idiot. Somehow I didn't claim that one when it was free.

I did that with Rayman Legends for Vita. I was like I will NEVER play it. Then I got interested in it and bought it for fairly cheap. Liked it a lot but never finished the last level and traded it.

Now I "buy" them all just in case.

Finally had a chance to look at the Flash sale and considered buying:

Never Alone
Rack n Ruin
Shadow Warrior
Ziggurat
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Bonk's Adventure
Dungeon Explorer
New Adventure Island

Are any of these games good? Avoid worthy?

Valk is great. Play the first as well.

Got basically everything done except for the Riddler trophies. Definitely got boring near the end. Still haven't watched the 2nd (last?) ending.
Any indicator of how many hours you've sunk in to it? I keep picking off the side missions as i find them and I think I'm just barely over halfway through the story. The riddler stuff seems excessive on top of the 400 other things to do.

20? I'm a terrible judge of time though. I did like you and picked up most the side quests as I could. The street bombs, checkpoint, and tower missions are annoying because you have to find them by yourself or use a map online.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna end up somewhere around 25 by the time I'm done although I wont go for anywhere close to 100%.

Batman End Spoilers

So there are actually three endings in the game. One for beating it, one for capturing most of the Most Wanted criminals, and one for capturing all of them (including Riddler's ten million trophies.  Pretty cool if you ask me. I've seen the first two and liked them both, not sure if i'll go for all the riddler ones on my own or just watch it online.

So when BioShock Infinite came out, I bought this...

Yeah but how are your leaderboard scores?

Eh screw the Riddler trophies. Not going to plat right now because no way do I have a 2nd playthrough in me. So not gonna bother with the rest of the stuff I didn't get. Hopefully BB raises the TIV to $40/$44 tomorrow so I can just trade it in. Really good game.

ya think you can buy the x1 version and then say oops and have them replace it with the ps4 version...

also just beat dmc. wootwoot

I added it to cart and then they removed it when I tried to check out. Damn.

also this chic and my girl made out and groped each other all day at pridefest. plans to cam next week. us guys are lucky with our wives in here.

Cute girl.

You could probably exchange the XB1 version for the PS4 version at Walmart. I doubt anywhere else would do it, though. Though obviously too late now.

On chapter 7/9 of Mirror's Edge. It's alright. I'd like it more if not for the stupid combat stuff. Having guys shoot at you would be fine if you were able to avoid them, but there's a number of situations where you have to take them down. Since they have machine guns and shot guns and can kill you in ~2 hits, having to charge at them gets annoying.

It's not a bad game, but the blatantly exaggerated use of cops everywhere plus the terrible story concept makes it hard to understand how it got as much attention as it did.

You're in luck--Best Buy raised the base TIV to $40.

Your wives all sound terrible. Except they don't. I really need one of you to go off on a tirade about your wives soon. I feel like a one man wolf pack right now.

Ate at a Cuban restaurant last night. Is a sandwich really a Cuban if you don't eat it with the pickles? I'm not a pickle fan; pickled jalapeños are good, though. Plus, I asked the waitress for hot sauce for my beans and rice, and she brought me some mayo-based concoction; what the hell. Threw that stuff in the trash.

Can't help you there. Sure, my wife drives me nuts sometimes, but that's what happens when you live with someone so long. This weekend she's at home with the kids while I'm off playing DIY helping a bud build a swing set for his kids. She was a little pissy because I was going out of town, but it's just cause she'll miss me. I'll make it up to her; wink, wink.

Gator, I don't know if you've ever had this but my wife brought me back a six pack of this from Ohio because a friend of hers loves it...

It's alright but I probably wouldn't drink it again.

EDIT:  Sorry pharm... my wife is pretty cool.  That chick you got lined up is pretty hot, so chin up you bastard.

Finished off Mirror's Edge. Took 6 hours, glad it didn't go longer. Every parkour element was introduced in the tutorial; no new tricks were ever required and so the game felt the same from beginning to end. The few parts of the game where they concentrated on complicated level design and climbing were fun. The parts of the game where you run from the cops generally felt like they were compensating for a simple layout, and the terrible combat highlighted how miserable those parts of the game were. The story was the worst I've seen in quite a while--problematic for something that was so story-driven. The game would have been much better with the story dropped and the parkour element refocused into time trials (races, deliveries) with challenging multi-path maps.

Overall the game was fairly disappointing. Ah well.
