Just finished chapter 3 of Yakuza: Dead Souls. Camera controls have gotten a lot better--still working on that--but gunplay isn't bad at all now. Gameplay is good--pick it up if you're at all tempted.

Just finished it tonight too. Will go after a few trophies and do the Harley DLC and then trade it later this week. Might try some of the side missions depending time. I enjoyed it a lot but a few things made me want to throw the controller through the TV. Great story though.

yeah i dont really love predator mode and was getting frustrated with some of the later stuff on normal. definitely have no desire to experience that on nightmare mode.

How'd you get the pocket rpg trophy for going through a quest using just your base weapons. I've gone through the first 3 quests in my 2nd playthrough making sure not to change my weapons/gear, and still haven't gotten it.
 
good news everyone, the new blazblue lands on Tuesday which means I'll have a new fighting game to briefly talk about before I once again realize that I'm total shit at fighting games.

and also batman batman predator too many side missions batmobile batman batman.

what's the difference between nightwing and robin? I thought they were the same dude.

I understand availability plays a big part in whether you play something via remote play vs on the tv, but I wonder how many times remote play has negatively affected your experience with a game. I like remote play, but there are some games that I want to experience in all their glory.

 
Nightwing is cool. There's about half a dozen characters in the Batman franchise that I wouldn't mind seeing Rocksteady take on. The way catwoman controlled (much faster) compared to Batman in Arkham City made me want a standalone game as her.

And now the way Red Hood isn't afraid to shoot people in the fucking face makes me want to play a whole game with him.

 
Yeah I actually thought the Arkham Knight would make a sweet character to have a game based off. Something like The Punisher where he's an anti-hero, willing to do whatever it takes to bring down his enemies. A combination of awesome melee combos and gun fights would be super cool.

No, luckily I don't sweat all that badly. I'm just really warm because I haven't been home all day and don't run my AC when I'm away, so my house is having a hell of a time cooling down.

However I am setting up a basement living space to keep cooler. Luckily it's voluntary and wasn't banished down there by any woman.

The original Robin grows up and eventually wants to stand apart as his own identity, so he becomes the vigilante Nightwing. Then Batman replaces him with a younger, angstier Robin.

I just ordered Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin on PS4 from BBY. They have it on sale and it was $35.99 after GCU. I had a $25 cert so it only cost me $11.87.

I love CAG math!

 
Up to a little over 45% in Arkham Knight, 60% through the story.  Finished off a couple sidequests tonight and holy fuck the last APC was a bitch.  Kept being just out of range of the Batmobile.

Looking at the flash sale...thoughts on Hand of Fate?  Worth $8?

 
Trying to get into Ether One.  I got through the first two chapters without any glitches or bugs so maybe that patch that downloaded a couple of days ago finally made it playable.  The story is interesting enough so far but the puzzles haven't been that challenging or engaging.  If you like Myst, you might be more into it than I feel like I am at the moment.  Those were games I thought I would be able to get into but didn't.

Hands of Fate is a cool little card game. Think along the lines of of D&D(though I never played it) and you play against the DM. Chance is determined by the shuffling of cards and it turns into a dungeon crawler when you have to face off against monsters. It's also exciting whenever you obtain a new card and see what it does.

They have a story mode and later you can unlock unlimited mode. The only real problem I had with it is that it had some major slowdown when there are too many enemies on screen. Other than that it is a great card game.

did some counts. i own 16 of the flash sale games already, and i've beat 5 of them. still going to buy some more though. game of thrones, hand of fate, and probably might and magic. never can have too many card games.

so yes to hand of fate and no to ziggurat. and ill grab monster monpiece and toejam 2.

also i just got all the ghosts extinction trophies in one run :) 4 trophies popped at once at the end

  (survive, survive with 4, escape in 1 1/2 mins and escape with a relic equipped) i dont know if it has the all challenges complete trophy or not...

 
It seems like June has been the Month of Pleasant Game Surprises for me--first The Swapper, then Brothers, then Super Exploding Zoo, and now Valiant Hearts.

You know, I was expecting the new alts to come with some new material, like when that gamergater guy popped up. I'd settle for some Shoe and Tell, though.
