I think there was some talk that games that came out on multiple discs wouldnt be made BC... but maybe that ended up being false (I sure hope so) . I would also like to have the DS trilogy on X1, I'd probably even buy a remastered collection. Would also love MUA as TandJame mentioned as well

For the 2 disc games, I think the requirement would have to be that they have a GoD version.

 
hey guys I'm back on the 360 and starting up a backlog like the obsessive compulsive psycho that I am. Catching up on a bunch of old great games that I never got around to playing. Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition is on my radar and I'm gonna have to buy it off Ebay. I can't find a definitive answer anywhere, but, seeing as how the DLC was taken off the XBL marketplace years ago, can I still get the full 1250G if I splurge and get the Gold edition? Does it come with the DLC on disc or does it have a code?

Now with BC we have to watch even more of the sales, well pay more attention. I wish I kept Arkham City and so many others.

Ah, I see. I didn't realize DS was a multi-disc game. Yes you are correct. Multi-disc games might not work w/ BC.
Oh well, I still will play through it again someday - my actual 360 isn't going anywhere. In fact, I was playing SC: Blacklist last night on my trusty :360:.

Watched Horns because it was free and the premise intrigued me. Free was not cheap enough. Interesting premise, terrible execution/logic/plot direction. I wanted to like it, (excellent movies like What If really have me rooting for Radcliffe to make a career beyond Potter) but it just boiled down to creepy revenge porn.

Totally agree. I'd even go as far to say it's my personal GoTY. I must have died a hundred times just passing the rising water level but oh how satisfying it was to get past it.

Compared to all the big name releases, Ori has more heart and emotion than any of them. Combine that with challenging gameplay requiring perfect timing that could only be done with perfect controls and you've got a masterpiece.

What's wrong with it? I save words like "terrible" for things like Sonic 06, Big Rigs or Superman 64, but I digress. I thought it had solid fighting mechanics and the Nemesis system was intuitive. I just didn't care for it's length or lack of re-playability.

As far as I know, the GoD version of that has yet to go on sale (I know DLC did; I bought it) and there's no single game I want to go on sale more. Such a great game.

What was wrong with Conviction? I liked it even though it wasn't a true SC game.
 
I Enjoyed Conviction as well, mostly because I hate trial and error stealth. I Enjoy predatory stealth games like that. Dishonored and Batman where I basically am hunting people down one by one.

I actually haven't finished it but I would say 10-12 hours? I'm really not sure. Hopefully someone else chimes in on that.

I do know that you can save pretty much wherever you want. You save by using these orbs you collect and they're easy to come by. I've used them pretty frivolously and I've never had a problem.

The gold and special editions just have the dlc unlocked on disc but I dont think the saves are compatible with the vanilla versions. Think the heros and villians pack might have been free at some point years ago because I had it but dont remember purchasing it so check your dl history. Yes you can get the 1250

There are some auto save points but the rest are manual through "soul links". Those you can save anywhere as long as you are not in danger (ie. boss fights, chase scenes, etc.) and have collected enough light to do so (game is pretty generous with that so 90% of the time you can save).

As far as length, it depends on how good you are 10-12 hours is if you play well IMO. Closer to 20 hours if you suck like I do have to do the boss battles and chase scenes repeatedly (particularly a level with rising water that really took a LOT of retries for me)

About 10-15 hours your first playthrough. About 3 hours if you rush it (achievement for beating it in under 3). Saving makes the game really easy, but there are some "boss fight" type areas where you can't save. Many people struggle with those, but I didn't find them that bad.

 
Would really love a sale on Ori, and it was on sale during the Steam summer sale, so there is some hope that sales are starting on it.  

And I also second what KickRockz said about Arkham Knight.  Games is really really well done.  Only played AA and bits of AC before this, but dont really feel like I missed a ton either

I bought GTA IV over the weekend but via PC. My PayPal got charged rather than my MS credit. After talking to customer service, they'll refund the $4 and said that the credit gets charged only when I make purchases through the console. Just an FYI if you didn't already know.

So that means that if you have MS credit on your account and want to use it to buy bc games for your xbone, you're out of luck unless you have a 360 and buy through it. I have a feeling MS will add a 360 marketplace to the xbone.

I just noticed this last night as well. Tried buying GTA SA from my computer and there was no way to select the funds in my account, just my credit card.

Did you not like The Woman In Black? I thought it was pretty decent, it hit all the right classic suspense-horror notes without being terribly cliche.

 
Catching up on all the Splinter Cell debates. If there is one thing we can all agree on, it's that hopefully Ubi puts a new SC out on :xb1: and :ps4: sooner than later.
But no SC announcement at E3 makes me think we will be waiting a while. Conviction was April 2010 and Blacklist was August 2013. So, I'll give them another year. Although, it seems like Ubi is only interested in multiplayer-centric games now...

Even if they announced a new SC title at next year's E3, the game won't be out until 2019 (followed by a delay to March 2020).

I'm a little conflicted with this logic. On one hand I can already see the digital copies of 360 games being higher priced just for being digital, so it will drive the cheapest of us towards hard copies, and that will be GS's cue to drive up prices. On the other hand though as the X1 starts to get more and more 360 games it will be the go-to console now which will surely put an end to the 360 as a viable console. I think this is the main reason MS waited so long to introduce BC. They wanted to squeeze out every last bit of life from the 360.

Unravel has a page up on the xbox store. It looks gorgeous! Was there a gameplay demo at E3 that I missed?

The division also finally has a page up but you can't pre-order digitally. I really want to get in on that beta!
