Also to add, sometimes the MasterPass option just won't work with some e-mail addresses. Just delete your card info on the one that isn't and try a different one. I had to do a second try but it worked just fine on mine. $50 Xbox credit for $32.09!

I think they have a free trial option for it on the page, actually. I couldn't really get into it. I think Forza Horizon 2 hit all the open world tics I like without having to shoehorn in a silly side story and a goofy "you're driving America except the map's all wrong and there's only fields" conceit.

I'm more than halfway through Arkham Knight, and I'd suggest you play through the previous 3 before this game. There's references to all three previous games and some character stories are established in previous games. I'd also hesitate to play the latest game first because of the limitations you'll feel if you then go play the earlier games (especially Asylum) when you compare things like graphics, movement, size of the world and size of the game.

But if you haven't played any of the other games I definitely would not suggest paying full price for a 4th game if you're not even sure if you'd like the series.

I wouldn't yet lose my mind over the achievements in Rare Replay as it definitely doesn't add up to 10,000G even with the 360 games. There's over a month 'till release, that list is probably partial.

Sort of weird that only a partial list was picked up which has me thinking the N64 games will appear as a title update or somehow other separate list.
 
Just got an X1 a couple days ago, and am already loving (and having no problems with) the MCC. Sucks that the early adopters had such a hard time it made them sell the game but man it's freaking great now.

I've had the game since launch. The first month was brutal and then it got better although it wasn't till late December when the game got progressively better.

Everyone is using that newegg deal to get xbox credit, but i'm tempted to buy the new Covert Forces controller for $45 + tax. Although I might get the Elite or Forza controller later this year so not sure if it's worth buying now.

 
I was thinking less of morals and more of them reviewing it and billing back the $20 since it doesn't qualify under the promo terms

I Used mine to get a 1TB HDD for my 360. I'm so damn tired of doing memory management everytime I want to play something.

 
if anyone is wondering if Battlefield: Bad Company still has an active MP community, I can confirm that it is very much alive. Played about 10 matches today and it was full 8v8 in every one of them and the matches start very fast.

It really feels weird going back in time and playing Battlefield MP old-school. You can see the beginnings that led to modern day BF gameplay but it just feels really small in scope compared to what we get nowadays. But I actually prefer the more condensed maps, makes it easier to get kills and you don't have to wait long inbetween spawns. The downside is you can consistently get spawn-camped and it really sucks. But, all in all, I think I'm gonna play it for a month or so before moving on to BF2.

I'm thinking about picking up some used hard copies of 360 games cheap now for when they get backwards compatibility clearance. I figure their resale prices will double when they get clearance so it's best to grab them beforehand.

 
Slightly off topic, but finally got around to playing Sniper Elite V2. That game is...ridiculously satisfying. Right down to the dumb enemy AI who spots a body of someone I killed so I shot him with a pistol and he stops while I'm reloading, then I shoot him again and he stops approaching the body (while still ignoring me)  and tries to go back to the area where he was sitting so I shot him in the head finally to end his dumb misery. Stealth games are fun!

I just watched it today. The first half of the movie is great. The rest is kind of cliche but I still enjoyed it. If you want to get a feel for the movie, imagine this: you see a guy get slapped by his girlfriend for cheating on her. What's your reaction? If you found it satisfying, you'll like the movie.

I kind of doubt BC will drive up the prices much. It'll be when discs at retail dry up. Another year or two and new copies of stuff people want will be gone unless reprinted, and probably around 4 or 5 years from now Gamestop will fire sale their remaining used stuff like the PS2 stuff a while back.

I just plan on tracking down a few games I liked but sold when broke, like Lollipop Chainsaw, but now is the time to start considering what disc we want to keep around.

Lifeless Planet was really good. I really enjoyed it. I still need to attempt the less than 4 hour run and the complete the game without dying achievements.
