The Berserk anime was good. The manga looks tons better, but it comes out so slow and the later story stuff has dragged on so very long that I don't even keep up with it anymore. The anime got the majority of the good story stuff, though...which is sad since it ran 18 years ago now and is still going.

I've not watched anime in years. I think the last I watched was the first few episodes of Hellsing Ultimate. I should get back into it, there's quite a bit I've seen mentions of that looks very good.

We have a gecko. He's great even though he doesn't do much. At first I wasn't sure, but he ends up looking cute and he's pretty easy to take care of.

There's a quite big difference between thinking of the possibilities and flat out knowing the answer.
 
 And one more thing... you're right, we have pretty much seen anything and everything.  But that's another reason why I don't like even the small stuff spoiled.  Most of the time I've figured out the big plots before they even get off the ground, so I've come to get more enjoyment out of the surprises that happen along the way.  For instance...

Granted i don't really consider that"small", but his role was a shock and the fact that I didn't see it coming felt great. Had it been spoiled for me it wouldn't have had nearly the effect that it did... I hope the rest of you got as much enjoyment out of it as I did.[/customspoiler]

Any advantage/disadvantage to playing Super Exploding Zoo on Vita instead of PS4? I know you guys were talking about save files being corrupted or deleted; which console was that on? Is that still happening?

Velo said his multiple crashes were on PS4, but I think the cause was more related to having cloud-save enabled, so play with Wi-Fi off as much as possible and you should be fine.

 
Valiant Hearts is done, and with that, my #JumpingJune tally ends at 12. I didn't expect this month to be so productive.

Did the harley mission last night (was cool playing as her but way short) and did the scarecrow missions this morning (was really blah, but again really short)

I am done with batman for now, will trade in today.

Wheres the best trade for it right now? Gamestop or bby? Gamestop has some 40 dollar deal for it?

Just answered my own question, batman is pulling straight 40 from bby so with bonus would be 44. Going there today for sure.

Paid 35 after reward zone certs, getting 10 in reward zone money, plus trading for 44. Thats like 19 in profits.

This is why I'm completely glad I avoided everything about the game before playing it. Normally I don't give a shit about spoilers (save e3 spoilers apparently?) and I'm not even a big batman fan or anything. I just thought that was extremely well done and set the tone for the whole game for me. Now I hope nobody spoils the plot for blazblue chronophantasma extend before I pick it up today!

 
Come on Kilik, you are better than that.  Takes two seconds to look up the BB TIV which is also $40 right now.  GS is supposed to be $40 until July 22nd according to I think Jimbo who told me yesterday.  I will be going to BB later this week since I dont want to deal with GS credit.  Nor step in their nasty stores.  I havent been to a GS in years.

 
Yeah I havent read anything about the Batman story and I am glad I havent.  The atmosphere and story have been awesome. I am 77% through now.  Hope to beat it by tomorrow and then clean up some trophies possibly before trade in.

Make sure you do the wayne towers deal with lucius fox, its only one mission and takes 10 mins, easy bronze.

It also involves one of my favorite batman villains.

I'm going in for the stupid batman plat which probably makes me an idiot but I don't care, I'm really enjoying the game now and I'll regret it if I skip ng+ since there's no way I'll be able to dive in to that months down the road and succeed.  The biggest downside is it'll probably take me at least 2 more weeks to get through the rest of the side missions, riddler trophies, AR missions and ng+ so I might end up having to take a hit at bby if the tiv dips.

Yeah I did the Harley mission last night and couldn't force myself to
do any more tank / driving misions

GS is giving I think $43 and change and BB is $44. I rather have the BB credit. Will probably put it towards the next $10 cert eligible game I pre order. Not sure what that is right now. All the ones I want are months off.

I am running to BB today at lunch.

fuck diet or light anything. I like the full octane stuff. Monster tends to be too bitter or sweet for me depending on the flavor. NOS is has the right citrus balance for me so I stick with them but I try different energy drinks whenever I see them.

You have the stomach for it. I dont. I dont like stealth at all. I get so bored waiting for the right moment to take people out etc. Since Batman takes a lot of stealth on NG+ cause of the difficulty I knew right away I woudlnt try for the plat. I would go insane.

Yeah most people at work look at me strange. But I grew up in FL. Its hotter than ball sweat on a gorilla. I never liked drinking anything hot, even hot chocolate except maybe the one day of the year where its below 50 degrees. They didnt have iced coffee growing up and remember coffee is an acquired taste as well. Its bitter as fuck to a kid. So I never got into drinking it.

Plus, you have to make coffee or buy Starbux or something like that which costs a fortune. fuck that. I would rather just pour a can into a cup and be ready to go.

Is there not one for beating it on the highest difficulty? I might go for the platinum depending on what's left to do after 100%-ing the game. I actually enjoy getting all of the riddler trophies. I platinumed AA because it was amazing and I couldn't get enough. Didn't bother with AC because I didn't like it quite as much and the challenge room campaigns or whatever they are looked hella annoying. Interrogating dudes to mark riddler stuff on your map makes things a bit easier than the first game.

part of what I like so much about this iteration is they made the stealth sections more like those dark action sections from a batman movie where you just pop in, knock a guy out, disappear and appear behind the next guy almost immediately. with the depth of all the wacky things his tools can be made to do (specifically with sabotage and the voice modulator) you can setup pretty much every stealth situation to be finished safely in 2-3 minutes, less if you can get em clustered (which having them clustered in the old games is what made stealth sections take so long). I'll have way more trouble with the action/tank sequences since everyone seems to move different than asylum/city (without the counter icons I'll probably get hit a LOT) and apparently the tanks fire faster in ng+ which is going to suck suck suck.

nope, just the ng+ trophy - however ng+ auto sets the game to the highest difficulty (while you keep all of your upgrades) so it's sort of a combined trophy I guess.

Yeah he seems to have more tools and everything but no way I can play on Knightmare. Thats going to be a bitch and a slow slog. Or for me it would be.

 
Microsoft will apparently be showing quantum break, scalebound (platinum games), and crackdown at gamescom on 8/4.  All three of those are interesting to me.

Nice. That sounds entirely doable if I get to keep all of my upgrades. I feel like it would actually go fairly quickly since you just have to bang out story missions.
