Since it won't let me quote for some reason.

Tyler,

I thought the same thing re: the chief. I had a feeling early on he was setting the fires or responsible for them, but why wouldn't you put him with the riddler informant cop or something.

Sitting him next to SERIAL KILLER SPOILER...............................Professor Pyg and Firefly is fucking hilarious. I was cracking up.

I heard about it on several podcasts, if that counts for anything.

I don't understand how naughty dog plans on keeping the game's energy anywhere close to that chase scene.  it's totally nuts.  I understand that there'll be lots of conversational plot exposition and exploration of things peppered in between excitement like the other games, but if that's not close to a finale I don't know how they'll avoid peaking in the first hour of the game.

Actually I love Mendes so you actually made things better!
Jon Anik brought a good point about the oddsmakers. They had Conor as a slight favorite over Aldo. If this was Aldo v Mendes 3 with Chad only getting a couple weeks prep time, you'd expect Aldo to be like -250 favorite. Why the heck is Conor the dog in the.books atm?
Bigger question to me is why was Conor the slight favorite over Aldo in the first place?
Maybe a lot of the sharps threw big money on Conor as a dog or something and the line shifted? I didn't really follow the movement on it.

For those of you who preordered it during the Bestbuy.com glitch:

The artbook is softcover with 80 pages and the CD has roughly 80 minutes' worth of music.

well I shouldn't have done it but I did because I'm an idiot - ps+ games that I've finished since I signed up:

ps3 - 39/181

ps4 - 9/50

vita - 27/80

Assuming I paid $50/year (I didn't) for the 4.5 years I've been signed up, that'd be $225 for the 75 games I've finished or an average of $3  per game.  that's a bit skewed because I counted the cross buy ones in each category so it's probably more like $4-$5 per game.  That does only count ones that I've finished though - I've probably played another 40 or so.  interestingly, out of the ps3 games I've finished from the IGC, more than half of them are ones I remember purchasing before they went free which would skew that way further.

But I do get cloud saves and an intense feeling of community and entitlement, so ps+ does have other benefits.

To be fair, have you seen some of the mouthbreathers at the UFC fights? It's not as if it has to be mutually exclusive.

Are you sure you guys like games?
I like metagames, too. I still have Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini on N64, so if I really wanted to play those again just to play them, I could hook up the system easily enough. Earning achievements while replaying them would have been neat and worth the $5.

All of Uncharted 2 wasn't the train level or the tank level after all. It probably follows a slow, methodical level so the car chase is kind of a release.

Also the PS+ discounts on sale purchases.

Exactly like Vig said. I played the shit out of most of those games back then, and I too still have Blast Corps that I could just play or even emulate if I wanted to play it again. The Achievements are a fun metagame and an added incentive to dive back in to games like that.

With 150 Achievements, not sure why they couldn't spread them around to all the games that don't have Achievements already.

Although the math doesn't really add up on the Achievements, so they could add more later.

Rare Replay Achievement List:

http://www.exophase.com/game/rare-replay-xbox-one/achievements/

There's a grand total of ZERO achievements for the three games I'd be most interested in playing: Conker, Blast Corps, and Jet Force Gemini. Pretty damn lame.
What's really silly is there would have been plenty of room if they had cut it down to 4 achievements per game, instead of 7 per some of the games. Maybe it's just a LOT easier to implement achievements in their NES emulator?

It seems odd that they'd assign 7 achievements to practically every short game there, even the really old ones, but skip the more robust titles.

EDIT: Pseudo-Owl'd.

I should do this. I have many other more important things to do, but now I want to do this.

Like I said, after looking at it more in depth, the rest of the achievements are probably coming.

They said 10,000 total gamerscore.

 • 5000 for the five retail Xbox 360 titles
 • 600 for the three XBLA titles
 • 2780 on the Achievement list I posted
Meaning there's going to be another 1620 gamerscore that needs to fit in somewhere.

Unless Microsoft is stupid and rounds up by the ten-thousands.

You're doing way better than me. I've only even played 13 of the games from plus. I've had it since early 2013. Didn't count games that went to plus that I'd already purchased tho. I think I've used plus way more for the sales. It'd take more effort than I'm willing to give right now to try and figure out if my purchases/plus games even out to what I've spent on plus.

Also, I got some random $5 BB cert that expires today. Looks like there's some blu-rays with Terminator money on em for $10. Probably gonna pick one up and watch that shit this week.

If the annual household earnings of the middle class had risen as much as the top 1% over the last few decades, the middle class would be earning over $150K.  Instead the average middle class earnings are only about 72K a year.
