Police say a 22-year-old Maine man was killed after setting a fireworks mortar tube off on top of his head on the Fourth of July. State police say Devon Staples of Calais was killed in what they described as a "bizarre" accident around 10 p.m. Saturday while drinking with friends and setting off fireworks at one of their homes on South Street. He died instantly when he set off a fireworks mortar he had placed on his head, investigators said.

Zimm, why oh why can't cartwheel be connected to my red card? I'm sure there's a host of reasons, but by the time I get to checkout I always forget to show my barcode! I can't handle all that responsibility.

We've talked about it, but there are too many security issues. And they're all a little paranoid with the breach still.

Just need to make it your habit. As soon as you walk into Target, go to the video game section, look at all the PS4s, feel overwhelming pity for me. Then that will remind you of the ol Cartwheel and cause your bust out your phone. Savings for everyone!!!

I guess you can only do it twice. Theres a henchman talking shit from a cell at the gcpd with a broken arm talkin made shit. If you attack him you will bash his head into the cell and knock em out. The 2nd time you try it you punk him and he falls on his ass.

Beat the main story in Metro 2033 redux, its a pretty decent game.

Gotta play through it again on survivor and clean up some trophies still to get the plat. Second playthrough shouldnt take too long but might wait a while for that, getting burned out farming all these dumb kill x amount with x weapon trophies.

 
Today I learned that Scientology has a building in Ybor which is near downtown. I only knew of the HQ in Clearwater. I took a pic of the sign on the corner but was too scared to walk in front of the building to take a pic.

Rumors are popping up that Jason Pierre-Paul injured his hand in a fireworks accident yesterday.  Nothing firm but anything ranging from burns to amputated fingers.

NFL.com confirmed he was hospitalized.

Isn't the barcode the same week in and week out. Couldn't someone just print up the QR code and leave it in their wallet or maybe even make a sticker of it and stick it the back of the Redcard? I wonder if cashiers would have an issue with it?

 
I miss 10 minutes and they are up 2-0. I see them make it 3. I come check my phone and they score 4. Then they almost make a header for 5. When did soccer become exciting?

90-ish left for me, including a few riddles/trophies that will require a guide.

At this rate, my 6000th trophy will be a (boooooring) story-progression trophy from AK. :roll:

Heavenly Sword is pretty cool. I'm liking the combat system, with the one exception of the stupidly annoying execution system. Knocking the bad guys down and then stabbing to finish them off is a nice mechanic but it doesn't seem to trigger as easily as it should. I often end up just swinging my sword around over the guy until he gets back up and I have to start over. Kinda annoying. The camera is a bit weak, too, but not bad.

Really like the art style, character design, and voice acting especially of the bad guy so far.
