fuck this stupid ass game. It doesn't freeze anymore but now I get an error every time I try to join other people lobbies. Same problem people are having on Twitter. I can create lobbies now but I'm not trying to sit here and wait fucking days for people to join if they even can. I like to join random lobbies with people already in it but if I can't do that then this game is useless to me.
 
Gonna tell the person that I split with to just contact MS and get our money back for this piece of shit. We'll just go half on something from this upcoming sale.

I played through all of the AC games in order leading up to Black Flag for the first time, including Liberation and ALL DLC for the previous games, just because people treated Black Flag like the second coming of Christ.

I'm now a couple hours into Black Flag and I just can't stand it. I no longer care about the main outer storyline now that AC3 ruined it with the ending. The sailing is boring. Everything that's not sailing is the exact same crap as the older games, but without the interesting storyline to go with it. The Animus character you play as is a dick. And he's related to an AC3 character, blah blah blah, doesn't matter because that character was a dick too.

I still have Rogue and Unity that I bought because I was so invested in these games during my Ezio trilogy playthrough, and I just can't get over this Black Flag hurdle. Does the storyline get ANY more interesting after this?

I just treated the game as a pirate game with Assassins Creed mechanics. I ignored the modern day crap when I played through it, although I may have to go back and play for some more achievements.

When it didn't work for a week, I returned it. Between Master Chief, AC: Unity, and this, I'm pretty much done with buying any games at launch. My money clearly holds more value to me than it does to developers and publishers.

It's pretty good, but I find a smirk comes to my face when the familiar Arkham City themes come around. Those are more present during the combat situations.

The music is one of the few things I enjoyed about the game, sadly.

In case anyone cares, this site is offering a free Season Pass for anyone creative enough to present their wish for the A Matter of Family DLC. It's entirely up to you, so you can create the story any way you'd like it to be. I'm still working on my idea.

I don't remember how close to launch I played it - but I don't recall running into any issues with joining lobbies with friends and/or randoms, nor in the missions themselves. If the developer had released more content for it, I would've went back to it on 360, as I still have the game disc.

 
Is there any kind of organized CAG game night for Xbox 1? Thinking of trying to come up with something if there isn't one already and there's interest

I'm interested, but I work every night except Monday and Tuesday, sometimes Friday. I'm missing the fireworks because I'm at work right now :(

Anyone is free to add me, and if there is a night set up when I'm not working, I'll be there!

(I sold Elder Scrolls Online for $47 (I hated it) which was nice considering I only used $25 Earth bucks for it. Hopefully I have the same luck with Payday duece.)

What time frames work for everyone? Thinking about Monday and Thursday 10pm est til like 1am est. I'm on the fence - I really would like to play it and it was only $25 (BBY Glitch) with a $10 GC - maybe I'll give it a bit longer for them to give fixing it another shot. Unless someone read they've given up and it's just not going to work with joining random lobbies. Some of the most fun I had in MP on 360 was in PayDay 2.

 
Does everybody having problems with Payday 2 have disc version? Digital version only had a minor issue online that this update fixed. Even before the update plenty of random people would join our games and mess everything up even though the lobbies were set to friends only. Disc and digital should be the same, but it is the only difference I can think of.

I have the disc version - haven't tried to play since the update though. Disc version - prior to the update - had freezing when you opened the mission and then would have errors 99% of the time when you tried to join the lobby (lobby is full/unable to join). I was able to join one lobby once and then we couldn't actually start the mission.

Digital for me. The game was unplayable since it unlocked at midnight for me. Before this update, I had sat in crimenet online for over an hour multiple times just trying to get into a lobby but it would keep freezing up. I tried to join empty lobbies also and nada. Now after patch it doesn't freeze up but if I try to join a lobby I get the error message, EVERY SINGLE TIME unless it's a empty lobby then it works fine.

I did tell my friend to contact MS to get a refund or something since they can just take the license away. They offered 50% so we took that. We were playing for 4 hours straight after with lobby open for others to join. Not once did someone join, not even for a minute. Playing missions that need 4 players with only 2 people suck. The only time I can play the game is if I have people to play with or I would be solo in my endeavor to get paid.

Mistake I made was tellling him to go half with me since it was $38.xx if you preorder it. I had already had a copy from the BB glitch so I really didn't need to do that. I played PD2 a lot on :360: and honestly didn't have a single problem on it. At least they're aware of the new problem, it should only take another 3 weeks to get it fixed lol. Freaking Overkill, like you do u even test this shit? :wall:

tl;dr Digital, I tried and tried before update, no go. After update, can only play with friends basically. Got 50% back from MS on Digital. Stupid Overkill.



 
I think the problem is with the game not having matchmaking. Who knows how many people are selecting the same game as you. I'm having more success with selecting missions in the outer area of the map (further away from the default cursor position). I'm pretty sure the error is just because the game is full or the host quit. That was an issue before the update as well, especially because it was a pain in the ass to select a game. At least now selecting a game is much easier and random people can join your games quickly.

If you are having trouble filling your created lobbies, up the difficulty a few notches. The normal difficult is a joke, not many rewards and not challenging. Just play with friends or bots if you want that difficulty.

I'm 1 for 5 joining a game in the middle of the map. 4 for 5 on outer parts of the map. They need to make normal matchmaking.
 
You can add me to the list as well, I have EA access so any of those games I can do, Forza, Battlefield Hardline, Sunset Overdrive.
 
I'm in for CAG xb1 game night. I think the ea access titles are a good bet since most people have it. I vote for Battlefield 4, awesome game when people actually play together, PvZ or Titanfall would be good options too. Looking forward to this if it actually works out

It's not on that level at all... If you had been holding out for two years for them to update the old version I could see it somehow hitting home. otherwise, pretty obvious that those versions weren't getting updates. And of course the new versions will get updates because the updating process is a lot easier for devs, to say nothing of the increased power and storage on current gen consoles.

 
Frankly, I'd just as soon have a dev say "we're focusing on next gen dude" than string me along with some corporate sounding bullshit that means exactly the same thing. Nothing wrong with what the developer said.

What they DID is a different story though, sounds like they don't have a very good track record. Payday 2 has always looked interesting to me but i've never bought it due to all the issues I've heard about that go unresolved.
