Dear diary,

Was supposed to have a 8am phone interview this morning, so I sat in the parking ramp at work playing some Vita while I waited for the call.  25 minutes later (after no call yet), my recruiter texted me to say there was a delay on their end and to see if I could still talk.  I replied that I could.  Another 25 minutes later with still no call, I had to go to work so I texted my recruiter I couldn't talk anymore this morning.

In related news, phone interviews are dumb.

 
I will definitely be glad to be finished with arkham knight. I'm grateful for suspend since I'll just pick right back up in the middle of the last predator sequence after the little chicks get in bed.
 
If they can't get their shit together enough to be on time for a phone interview and then also miss a reschedule for later after missing the first, I would really question if it was somewhere I wanted to work.

I did like the boss battles in the older games and was pretty let down by AK in that respect. But Mr Freeze in AC was a pain in the ass on ng+ because you had to hit him like 10 times. It was like getting AK's blunt trauma trophy all in one fight.

That's part of why that fight was so good. You had to use everything in that room to take him down and it truly tested your Predator skill.

I have bought once or twice similar power up packs. For a buck or two. For AC:Rogue I needed some money (or maybe it was another resource) to upgrade something on my ship so I could finish the section I was in. I could have just farmed for cash but really didn't want to. I got the game cheap enough and traded it back for a few bucks more so it was a wash anyway. I think I did it one other time but can't recall what game right now.

Yeah I have that as well and really should just play that. I like the idea of a game that looks realistic but never see to motivate myself to play them.

 
I'm really not a fan of the poor map and next main mission indicators/information in New Little King's Story.  Maybe I'm missing something.  

Pancakes & Crazy (or Wii players), did y'all get to more than one princess?  I've only gotten the first one and don't know where to go next.  Wandered around to this big other area but it was just monsters and loot and no actual mission shit.

I got all the princesses on the Wii version. I believe you had to to get the the real ending of the game. I may be confusing it with Pikmin since it has been so long, but I thought you had to beat boss like characters to unlock the princesses.

You do have to beat a boss to get a princess, but my problem is I don't know where these boss characters are and the game seems vague about telling you the general locations or names of locations. Again I'm probably missing something or skipped over the dialog where they told me.

I liked it on normal because you could pick and choose what you wanted to do, but I still think it was bleh in ng+. The game encouraged you to scan him so that it could tell you every way to hit him and you had to do almost every single one. I became too much of just a checklist to mark everything off of in ng+.

Sounds like you should skip this and just get Super Mega Baseball. Should have grabbed it when it was on sale for $5, but the $20 standard price is still better spent on it than $16 on this.

Interesting. The only reason I knew about the EU sale is because Drinkbox retweeted Nintendo on it. They didn't retweet the NA sale, though. Not sue if Nintendo NA didn't tweet about it or if Drinkbox didn't retweet the tweet.

Idk, haven't played any of it yet, but my son has. I figure I'll let him play til he gets bored with it, and than I'll play around with it and wrap anything up

What I wouldn't give to be able to just stroll into a store and buy all that here. Damn fine haul right there. The DFH tribute beers are usually pretty good. You'll have to let me know how that one is since I have not tried it myself.

Pro-tip: Always drink the habanero Sculpin last since it is likely to screw up your taste buds.

I went and checked the Gamefaqs guide for the Wii version to refresh my memory. You need to check the suggestion box often. The ones marked with a star are quests you need to complete to get the princesses. Have you been doing that?

ETA: And apparently on the Wii you had a time limit to be able to do those quests. I am not certain if that made them missable or if you just got a new letter in the suggestion box.

Watched the Scientology documentary on HBO, knew a lot of the stuff about it, but it's even more messed up than I thought.  Very interesting documentary.

 
Defeated all the new bosses for the 3 races in Helldivers. Cyborg was the easiest while Illuminate was the hardest. First shot all of them except Illuminate but also had two sub level 20 players on the first team. Definitely well done. I kinda wish they would just randomly pop up on other worlds though rather than have their own planets specifically for them.

Ok thanks. I thought the rescue the princess quests were separate from the suggestion box. I've been accepting quests in there for random little shit and the sub-monsters, but I'll have to keep my eye out for the stars. Thanks yo!

I went to bed soon after you left. Just before 1 ET. I was going to stay longer but Derek was having trouble getting the party to connect to a match. As soon I dropped I heard them get into a match. Oh well. Not like I have anything going on tonight so I will be playing some more tonight and through the weekend.

I saw Munky drop from the party when I did when I thought just Cro and I were bailing. I wondered if that meant you guys were not going to be playing that much longer.

Tonight is beer night for me, but I should be around this weekend. I know one of my PayDay crew won't be around, but I am not sure about the other guys. Assuming it has been like the last few days, I will probably be playing Rocket League.

Researching the stuff about New Little King's Story for Zimm has be wanting to start that too. I have way too many games partially completed for my tastes so I am going to try and be strong.

Yeah, those plus the whole storyline with EXALT really add so much to the game. I played Enemy Within, not Enemy Unknown, and looking at the list of differences I'm sure I wouldn't have liked EU near as much. It would have felt very repetitive and I would have gotten bored quickly, I think.

 
Thanks for everybody playing Rocket League last night. I had a blast playing for my first time and it was good to score a few goals.

Sage I hope you talked to your neighbors because stealing your Internet is no laughing matter when it comes Rocket League.

I came back on after 10:15 or so and played til about 12:30. It was Derek. Shamante, Cleaner, Pancakes and I. Well we can't forget Poncho, Sticks, Yuri, JM since the AI does some crazy shots at times. This game is a lot of fun with friends and the time flies by too fast.
