Thanks. Didn't get a bonus trade code on my receipt for Elder Scrolls anyway. Did get $48 for the trade though.

Come on they took the best part of Batman Arkham Knight and made it a standalone game.

won the champ cup / Platinum.

I started Geometry Wars 3 during lunch today. I forgot how fun those games are. I was jamming to Spotify while playing and the time went so quick. Dumb work preventing me from gaming.

And of course after all the annoying back-and-forth for Lego Hobbit, one of the quests has glitched and I can't complete it. I'm stuck at 99.8% completion and one trophy away from the plat.  :wall:

Lol, that might be the exact same laptop I got a few weeks ago. If it is, it is working perfect for any normal activity. Can't tell you much about games, but it can play minesweeper just fine!
could u do me a favor and right click on my computer and hit properties and tell me if its the same processor?

if so, does it handle multiple tabs on the internet well? thats the main concern i have because my current laptop sucks at it

The single wheel option thing worked for me. It popped overnight while rubber banding. Based on the time, I assume it was around the 75km mark like everyone is reporting.

Glad that is done with.
4+ hours to go from 30 something to 67. I guess another hour or so and I should be down to just the collectibles one for the plat.

32 or 33 I think to go on that.

whys that? my laptop now is a hp stream 13 with 2 gb ram and 32 gb ssd and i hate it
The less memory the system has, the more it has to use the hard drive for swap space. At 4gb Windows will be taking up a large chunk of your memory all on its own. When you open up a few programs the memory limitation will mean the system has to start dumping stuff in memory into temporary files on the hard drive in order to accommodate new programs/files you're opening. With a standard hdd, this will result in lots of reading/writing to the hard drive. This is slow and will drain the battery faster on a portable.

2gb in a modern system is hard to believe. If the memory in that system wasn't part of the motherboard I'd suggest maybe just getting a memory upgrade. At 2gb your system is probably accessing the hard drive constantly. Even with an SSD that's probably your bottleneck right now.

For standard use an SSD and sufficient memory are the two biggest things. If you have those the computer will generally be quick to respond and will deal well with having a handful of programs open. Doing CPU-intensive stuff like video encoding, audio encoding, gaming, etc., will reveal a slow CPU, but browsing, writing, excel, etc., don't really need much processor speed.

I'd look for something with 8gb memory and an SSD at the minimum.

thats gonna cost a lot more than i want to spend right now, especially since i wont be doing all of that intensive stuff, i think im gonna go with it if crazydiamond hits me back, its only 220 after promo code

also i leave the laptop plugged in 99% of the time so i don't mind if its a drain on the battery

Beware, many Best Buys may not have this in stock. At least the one I was earlier for Elder Scrolls didn't have any copies.
I grabbed the last ESO PS4 on the shelf. The BB near my house is usually pretty well stocked. Didn't look to see if they had it for XBox One or not.

I assume the code that was in the box is the same code in every box and not worth anything to anyone right?

I will when I'm home in about 6 hours...

It may not be the same asus though because mine was about $100 more, and that was a great deal when I looked it up.

The laptop you're talking about is at least upgradable. Memory and a SSD could be picked up and installed later on pretty cheaply. That'd do a good job of breaking up the expense while still leaving you with a better system.

so my stepdaughter's 18 year old bisexual friend that looks like natalie portman is upstairs showering right now. Am I supposed to post about this on Reddit or something?

the asus one is? if so, that settles it thanks

i can also hopefully sell this stream 13 for 100 or so to offset the costs

I figured as much, so I plan on PMing a copy or two at Target (my local store shows "In Stock") since I have a ~$75 GC from their last trade-in promo.

Does the distance trophy not count online play or did somebody claim that and everybody assumes they're right?

I just asked them on Twitter. If I get a response I'll post what they say.

My mom was telling us a story about a truck full of bees overturning and I did the whole Arrested Development Job 'beads?!?' thing and everyone looked at me like I was a total idiot but I still chuckled a little to myself.

Aside from the low end other specs Therm mentioned, thats a shitty processor too. If you want to do gaming on it, thats not going to work.

What does this have to do with legal age bisexual nataile portman-esque girls showering in your house?

Sucks that the only Marvel Pinball on sale for the Superhero Sale is the original pack. It's the only one I have, would have bought the shit of every single other Marvel table if they were 70% off as well.

Was in New York for the most of the weekend and while at a specialty beer store yesterday I did a build your own 6-pack from that deadspin list.  Enjoyed each of the ones I tried.  Was good to introduce some variety into my beer habits (usually stick with Sam Adams, Harpoon, or Blue Moon)
